Abe Kislevitz the GoPro guru! Loved this man. Something about watching pov just keeps me locked in. One day we’ll join you at Mammoth… if we ever get the van out of the snow 🫠
Don’t listen to what anyone says. This was dope. You’re obviously the go-to guy for this type of content and no one else posts anything that comes even close in quality.
Holy smokes, the editing+skiing skills in this video are off the charts. So stunned. Subbing from Lucas's channel, btw. Thanks for the incredible content.
DUDE, I ENJOY. I've been watching your stuff since you did the USC ski & snowboard vids, and this honestly is my favorite video you've made (Daydreams no. 2). It's so simple and refreshing. Sorry if that's disappointing for all the work you do on the other ones haha. When I go skiing, I don't listen to music, it's not a candy-coated, EDM fused over-extended adrenaline rager. I'd get out there and just listen to the sound of the skies and the snow, feel the wind and cold on my face. That's what I loved about it. It's beautiful enough on it's own. I just moved to TX recently, rip skiing, and this video brings me back to what I love about skiing. So ya... LOVE. Thanks, Abe. Keep up the great work. :)
Awesome to hear Jacob, really appreciate the kind comments! Also never listen to music over here. Love the quiet of the mountains when you can find a zone to yourself :)
“Raw” my guy this is a shit ton of editing and color grading in premiere pro and after effects, if GoPro footage looked this good right out the box GoPro’s would be sold out 😂
Wow, super fun brother! Just got my second set of JJs (had to put my 06? - 07? ones out to pasture after hundreds of ski days); honestly the best ski in the world. Thx for all the work, this made me want to come out to Cali and try Mammoth!
Sooo good 🔥That was a really fun video to watch! I should use my MAX more😅I kinda left it on the side cause the editing is a bit a pain in the ass but you just reminded me the cool perspectives you can get with it!
Hey man can you elaborate more? I still have an old school gopro with minimal stabilization and looking to get this kind of footage. Do I need to do 360 and all that? Or can I get the latest black gprop and have similar perspective? Looks like a chest mount also, but as a snowboarder going down the mountain sideways that wouldn't work I think I need to stick to the helmet mount. Thanks!
@@Chris11249 hey, you asked this on my comment, you might want to ask Abe directly so he sees it, i can't really help you with these questions, i don't snowboard or ski. I use my GoPros for totally different kind of videos.
@@Chris11249 You won't get all these views from a GoPro Hero. A 360 camera, such as the GoPro Max or Insta360 X3 is needed to get the ultrawide views and 3rd person views.
Dude these videos are so sicks. Ur livin my dream rn. I wanna do exactly what ur doing which is making youtube videos and living your best life. Wishin I was 25 and not 15 so I could fly myself out to Mammoth.
Haha thanks man! Never wish you are older! You’ve got plenty of time. Work hard and find something you’re passionate about and let the pieces fall into place 🙌🏻
Amazing video as usual, skiing in Mammoth looks like a ton of fun. I'd love to see more video's like this in the future! Are you using the Armada 106 or 116?
Hey man, I've been watching you ever since the Wallish Breckenridge edit and I've gotta say - you've always been a huge inspiration. This was such a pleasure to watch and made me want to go skiing so bad, keep doing your thing dude!
Just wow, iam currently skiing in the alps and our solpes are melting away day by day and no snow in sight for the remainder of my stay here. Really jealous right now. Gotta make my dream come true and ski in the Rockies one day.
What a great recording! Can't stop watching! Have you used the HERO 11 Black with Max Lens Mod + Horizon Lock for skiing video? Any comments? Thank you.
@@abekislevitz Yes. I think it will give a very similar video to your videos using HERO max. I will do this setting in my next MMS trip by the end of this month. Hopefully not a big blizzard and I really do not want to see the mountain closed.
The east coast of the US has much smaller resorts than on the west coast, as well as worse snow conditions. I'd highly suggest going to mammoth in California, Snowbird/Alta in Utah, or Breckenridge, Vail, or Copper in Colorado. If you can only go to the east coast, go to Killington in Vermont, or Sunday River or Sugarloaf in Maine.
Enjoyed this one, Abe! Really giving the viewer your raw experience and super enjoyable to watch. Thanks for all the valuable content. Love it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Where is this in mammoth? Ive been several times but not these lines!
As a skier i just love this kind of “more raw” videos, you can feel the thrill for those slopes! Btw i’d also love to see how you color ski footage
Smash like on this comment. Good asks.

Even though I’ve never skied before this seems insanely fun to do I can’t wait for the day I can ski
Love this, looks like such a fun run. Getting enough in the vid for the view of the mountain while you're going down is so chill.
This is exactly what I needed.
I saw a couple videos of Abe now, including a skiing video. But this video truely showed me how good he is. I'd have died 100 times here lol
Wow.. great video! My legs were moving with you, especially thru the trees! I could almost feel the snow from all my skiing memories at Mammoth.
I love this
This was such a dope video. The colors, the vibe, the skill, the pow... damn.
This video is insane. I didn't know it could be so calming to ski.
What birds
Whew buddy you are FLYING!! Have you ever run into a tree?
Thank you, the best camera angle among bunch of other vids out there

This was the sickest gopro video I have seen
Really enjoyed this one, Abe!

It doesn’t get any better than this!
That was f*cking AWESOME!

Yeh me too. Awesome scenery. There didn’t seem to be many people about to say how good the conditions were. Thanks for the video, from UK 🇬🇧

Your videos inspire me I'm going to get my own MAX and make videos cinematic skimboard, longboarding, and ski videos!
What a ride!
it is very sadisfying. I love it.
5:41 is absolutely nuts
Awesome! With that POV, my body leans into the turns through the trees as I watch. I didn't realize so much of Mammoth was above tree line.
Loving these POV raw ski videos Abe! Keep em coming.
Cheers !
Incredible to watch thanks for this content!
i can feel the float on the lines
wow this looks amazing! I've never seen or felt snow in real life. I wonder what it feels like honestly!

Where did u go? Wich ski station?
Thanks love u too much

Quick question, at 3:16 you show some pictures of Nate and they look spatial or with depth or something, how do you do that? Thnx in advance 😅
which armada skis are those? Older arv 116s I think? also I love this video it's amazing
love it
Hey, nice video. How you setup camera and what accesories you use?
Been up there so many times and still haven’t gotten a day like this , sick 😎
I live there and still haven’t gotten a day like this!
Hah, yeah it's a right place right time kind of day!
every day im wating for your new vids to be uploaded and olso do you have any tips on how to use an gopro for beginers i just got the hero 6
Yes! check my website, I have a guide to HERO6. abekislevitz.com
Using the Narwhale mount for the 360?
I've only managed 3 days thus far here in Scotland, weather has been all over the place.
What were the settings and the equipment you used to abtain these clips?
So the only normal Hero footage was the timelapse at the very start? Great video, love the scenery and the flow
3 shots in the intro aaand @ 6:38
Where do you mount your go pro, and how do you prevent it from dying in the cold. My go pro hero 7 black will record for 5 seconds then it will die.
This is my dream run
I love the video, but I can not find the first music in this, what is this music ?
Nice!!
Does anybody recommend a good ski field on America's east side? as Im from NZ and am going on holiday next year. Appreciate it in advance.
