Corey has bipolar disorder and has attempted suicide multiple times, so he knows that pain and knows that anyone blaming the death on anything other than an illness just doesn't know what they're talking about. Also, this is not the first time he had Chester's back- about a month before what happened, a quote Chester gave in an interview was taken out of context and was made to look like Chester has no respect for his fans, which got a lot of people to be mad at him- and Corey almost immediately defended Chester on Twitter. I agree so much with corey and he is so humble, that i feel we could be friends
Those Chester questions were really uncomfortable, didnt need to be asked.
They were a little blunt and I did cringe a bit. Could've asked them with a little more sensitivity.
Hmmm maybe. I mean. I appreciate that he didnt beat around the bush.
C’mon it’s LARRY KING for god sakes .
He had kids and killed himself what a loser.
Frank F you don’t understand it so you shouldn’t talk about it
I like Larry as an interviewer, he always seems to bring about the best out of people.
Corey looks so proud when he’s talking about his son
Larry King is actually a pretty terrible interviewer. He just reads the questions, hears the response and then asks the next without reacting or diving deeper. It’s quite jarring and doesn’t feel like fluent conversation.
Thought that the whole way through, Corey's really polite and socially aware luckily. I'd imagine it could be really awkward and uncomfortable to watch with other people.
He's an old radio host. Not a podcast bro
I completely agree. He also doesn't even do any real research into the background of who he's interviewing. He didn't really remember anything from the last interview with Corey & asked some of the same questions.
Yall ain't watched enough Larry king
Matt Clay god damn man I always think the same thing. They say he’s one of the best interviewers ever but he’s really a game of 21 questions that interrupts you before you finish your story.
Corey Taylor. I love this man! Helped me through some tough times.
Corey's the man 🤘🤘
*CMFT*
As a Glasweigan Thank you for that comment Corey and we absolutely love 😍 having you perform here. It was a dream come true getting to spend his birthday 🎂 with him in 2017 the smile on his face all night was beautiful 😍 please come back soon ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
We're a three-gen Slipknot family and proud of it!
That moment you realize the frontman for slipknot is better material for public office than the current politicians
Yes!
@@jonathanstoffel8602 love this man
Good thing the president isn't a politician
Neck For Prez!!
Maybe thats why hes failing so hard, i have never seen a US in such a catastrophic state. Who would have thought that North Korea and Russia would be US allies, and the rest of the western world turned extremely anti american.
Idk why but I enjoy listening to Corey talk
I'm sorry but the way Larry asked about Chester.. it wasn't exactly nicely put
or maybe it's just me still having a hard time dealing with it
i agree with you..it was not nice for sure...
I know, it's hard to believe that this July will be the third year he's been gone... smh
I think it’s a sore subject for you. Larry doesn’t bring any emotions to his interviews. He just asks the questions that people want to hear the answers to. Personally, I loved how he interviewed people, always respectful, professional, and unbiased which is extremely rare especially these days.
The best vocals in the industry right now...period!
And indeed one of the greatest ever to speak into a microphone. We love you Corey!!!!!
CT for president
Lucy Baker hahaha I knew this stupid comment would be down here... and no, he would be a terrible president
Lucy Baker he would make stalking legal and require all parents to make their kids listen to slayer and get them to love it
Kyoukou Marleau You clearly have no idea who Corey is so how about you dont comment bs about him yeah? good shit
And he would do it all amazingly.
Counter Terrorists?
Corey is so articulate, relaxed, confident, and sure. His views really make you think. He's more than just that guy who screams.
I just ordered America 51 and I can't wait to read it!
I’ve always respected Corey, I love watching his interviews. His knowledge is through the roof.
I miss chester bennington
Corey Taylor for President 2020 who's with me 🤘🤘🤘
Hell no
TheHoward Kendrick wayyyy better than DT or Kayne
He has no experience with politics....so no he has alot to learn ....perhaps in the future
This was an awesome interview! I honestly could listen to them talk about music for hours. Especially King with his questions and responses.
RIP Chester
I like how this interviewer works, just straight up questions, very informative.
I love his ideals never knew he was like this. Definitely have a lot more respect now than ever
I don't have the right to be proud of a person that i don't know personally or even met in my life, but i am proud of Corey. Well spoken my friend, you are a good musician and a good thinker/talker. Intellectual.
Corey Taylor, the man, the neck, the legend.
Two smart men having a good ol' transparent, respectful and interesting convo. Great stuff.
I got choked up at the Chester part... I think it's just the first time I've heard it said like that.
Corey's face at 18:15 when discussing Samantha Fox is priceless.
I love how his face lights up when he talks about his son!
he is right i'll be 40 tomorrow and i love slipknot..i wanna see them live
This man is so amazing. I can listen to him all the time. My Idol, my inspiration. Best of the Best 🤘🤘🤘
Larry King is one of the few greatest interviewers, always straight to the point.
This is an excellent interview. Corey is such a thoughtful guy. I'm so God damn proud of him.
I am almost 50 been a TRUE MAGGOT since 1999 when i seen SLIPKNOT live always will be a dedicated fan
NECK.👑
I'm glad Larry was much more polite and conversational with him this time.
Why doesn't this show up in my subscription feed?...
Press the notification bell
I didn't get a notification so... Nope, UA-cam is being a bitch. Cool interview though :)
What a smart dude. I’ve bought And loved all his books. Dude is way smarter Than me. Straight up. I’m younger but still
The fact Corey had to reassure Larry and all of us watching that he was sober at the ripe age of 12 is both hilarious and concerning.
This was really wholesome to watch for the first time, R.i.p. Larry. Also Corey is such a genuine human being. From defending Chester to his political stances and morals. What really got me were the giggles from the staff in the background @ 19:55 concerning the nude stunt.

"It's all necks.."
So true
Damn the Chester part was so unexpected, teared up a little bit. RIP CHESTER
Larry's damn right Corey is amazing. So are these interviews. Keeping it with the greats 👍🏻
RIP Larry. You were a great interviewer, even if sometimes I disagreed with you - you were at least respectful, insightful and allowed your guests to speak their mind.
I don’t agree with a lot of Corey’s politics but he is just such a cool guy and will always have my support. Can’t wait for slipknot 2019!!!
What's there not to agree with? Treating others well and having empathy is at the core of most things he's said.
rockbass id wager it’s the “negative” things he said about Trump. Which are just facts. Lol
Arashi Inpakuto lol what facts? Just asking.
Turaga whomst89 he’s got a massive ego and all around he’s just not a very good person. He’s a businessman, he’s also a misogynist a cheat and a scammer. And tbf I’ve seen no evidence denying those claims.
Arashi Inpakuto that's exactly why I like him. Why tf do we want politicians in office? They're corrupt dickheads. And because he's a business man he goes into everything like it's a business. He negotiates which I think is a great thing. I don't a give a fuck what he's done in his personal life. He's not a corrupt cunt fucking us over. Idk about you but I think he's doing a good job. You don't have to feel the same. Just saying.
I have more respect for Corey after watching this video. I don’t share some of his beliefs and I am also from Iowa. However, I respect his willingness to sit down and talk with anyone. If we had more people willing to do that this country would be a better place.
Wish his book was called "people =$hit"
Corey is such a down to earth guy I had the pleasure of meeting him I’ll always be blessed to have met him I’ve looked up so much to him he’s a smart guy and funny
