Just got one of these myself with the black dial, and surprised how much I like it. Definitely my smallest watch but it wears so well, I never want to take it off compared to my big heavy and bulky divers. The accuracy is also ridiculous, seeing +1 here as well. Really impressed
These are fantastic watches. I've had a 40mm Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical for years and it's been a loyal companion. I own many other watches that cost a lot more, but the Hamilton gets the most wrist time. As always, great review Rob!
i ordered one from mimo but i got it on the leather nato. i love it. looks great on a grey nato or vintage bond nato makes a great work watch for me. however im not a fan of the nato they give you for my wrist size it BARELY fits 7.5 inch the tag end doesnt fit under the second keeper go with one from Mora.
Great video! Thanks for sharing! I own the black dial version of this watch and I love it but I am seriously thinking about purchasing the white dial too!
Definitely a great version of this timepiece. Love how the white works with the vintage looking lime of the markers and hands. And such crisp printing pops off the dial
Whenever i see a new watch one of the first things I check is to see if it comes with a white dial. White dials look the best to me for some reason. If they don’t have white i get any color besides black. Every watch comes in black. so boring. Cool looking Hamilton!
Do you think this will face some competition from the new Timex Mk I mechanical? 36 mm mechanical hand-winding field watch under $200. Enticing option for the budget conscious.
They are pretty pricey. I bit the bullet and purchased it. So far I’m loving it. I fell out of love and gave it away as a gift. The other owner didn’t want it and gave it back after a few weeks and now it’s staying. Already becoming a strap monster
Where did you get those calipers? Is the measuring part plastic or composite? I just picked up a decent set of calipers this weekend, but I feel metal calipers will scratch watch cases. I need to exchange for plastic.
Even with a bigger wrist, the lug to lug length, the lack of the downward angle and the nato always makes this look awkward. I love the dial so much though. Very torn on this.
A no-date manual-wind with 80hr of power reserve seems really odd to me. Winding a hand-winder is the main thing with them. And considering most, if not all, people who wear manual-wind watches are watch nerds, it'll probably get wound several times a day. I really wish Hamilton updates it in the future with a 4 Hz and a 100m WR in the future.
I really agree with this. These are such nice watches to wind, I like that my 40 hour power reserve version needs regular winding. In regards to the 4Hz movement, the first version of these watches in 2018 had a 4Hz 40 hour movement before they "updated" to the 3Hz 80 hour one.

If It had a screw down crown and 100m of water resistance this would be the best daily “beater”
Zach Ward right?! Come on Hamilton lol
It doesn't have a screw down crown because of the hand winding movement I believe but I really did wish it'd have at least a 100m water resistance
ComicalSatania yea I get that but I have also seen manual winds with screw down as well.
I have the brown case with brown dial. It’s one of my favourites. The black on black looks best of all I reckon.
Im thinking of buying the black pvd with grey nato and ill purchase a grey suede strap else where i think itll look killer.
MVRDA MONXY yeah that would look choice. I’m thinking of getting the black one too now.
Love how thin this is , sold my Boldr venture because it was too thick
The cream lume is subtle and really suits the dial colour. Phil.
Love the white dial, but I feel that field watch dials should be green or tan/cream color. Either way you can't go wrong with Hamilton.
So clean looking stylishly. There are probably better words to describe it than I have.
It’s always interesting how relatively inexpensive watches from Hamilton look so well put together. Cheers
Always great to see a true OG post a comment on my vids.
Random Rob be well and safe my friend.
Love my white dial. The lug to lug length is my only gripe, but I wear mine a LOT! 😁👍

If you check Jomashop, the price on these Hamilton’s have come down considerably. I have this white dial-love it. Lightweight and comfortable.

I do the same thing. I always look for green or blue dial option.
Michael Hargis it’s funny because I feel every company realizes that to the point where blue has become extremely common now, unfortunately.
Undisputed under 500$ king
Yep, love these.
Great video, classic watch
Or if you want a budget option you can check out VAER....US company.

The bulova hack series is very nice, but a little thicker
they make this in a 42mm and ive been waiting to see it under $400 for a long time. It stays consistently around $465. Nice watch

Great watch
@5:00 Great size camparo there of 38mm vs 41mm
Mimo said he don't want no one, no one sent. J/K

Wrap some duct tape at those metal calipers. I see they use it to avoid scratching watches.
@@giorgisyr1 Good call.
It's in the cart. Been there for 4 months. Lol.

I’m sorry, is it Nimo or Mimo?

Man those Hamilton khaki look so cheap

I really like field watches.
I love them. Only thing that keeps me from wearing them exclusively is the typically mediocre water resistance.
@@DavidSmith-zu6eu Pls. tell me that you own an Smiths.
Rolex Explorer or Sinn 556A
That's crazy I'm wearing this same watch and also got it from Mimo's, before I even heard your recommendation.
I also dig the white dial
Aughhh i want the black faced one soo bad I love this watch
Great review buddy! ☺️👍
I think it’s 80hr
