Great video...I’ll add that every angler should carry a small bottle of antiseptic...even a small cut or scratch when handling fish can lead to a devastating infection. Trust me you guys don’t want any part of a vibrio bacteria infection. I’ve been a fishing guide and commercial fisherman for the past 25 years. I got a tiny little fish spine in the wrist...boom I spent 8 days in the hospital... that wound went from a tiny little pin prick into something looking like a gunshot wound. Now every time I come off the water... I rub my hands and forearms with isopropyl alcohol. Rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide are cheap. Sorry to be a downer but my hand and wrist has never been the same since that infection.

Really good suggestions. Thanks. There are some things i would not have thought of as a newer angler. I can really see how knowing these things will help improve the fishing experience. Even though I'm not much of an angler right, though.

You forgot the most important piece of equipment to always carry no matter what and that is a small .380 handgun in your cargo pocket. You are out there by yourself most of the time like me so its better have it and not need it...

@@michaeldavis8259 the spots are getting smaller and smaller. Jax beach I believe you can fish, I would reach out to some of the others in broken reel on facebook. I don’t do much night fishing.

Alejandro T I would go with a 12 foot for sure! It give you more options, to go long and you can still fish in close.
