interesting, New one to me..Another tip..After cooking and freezing your fleas..Get a wide mouth thermos and fill with fleas, keep in your refridge/freezer ready to go to the beach.Keep it cool at the beach.Use what you need, return to your fridge freezer when you get home and they will be ready to use on your next trip. This saves fleas and leaves more on the beach for fish food...try it
Well I did it Chip. I went and bought 4 1/2 pounds of shrimp and got them soaking in Diet Pepsi. I cut them up like you did. Now.... my question is.... you still peel them before you cast them out right? Might sound stupid to ask, but you never specified to or not. I hope this helps me get back on top of the leader board at the Gulf Breeze Bait and Tackle pompano tournament. Tight lines and God bless brother.
Chip how long will the diet pepsi shrimp last once its cured? Is it good for the next trip or will it last a week if kept cool? Can you freeze it and reuse? Thx
@@thesinkerguy That would be great! I have been fishing with Walmart Poles and reels . . . it is time to step up my game. What is the best way to reach out to you?
How long do they last in the freezer after they sit in the fridge over night? Do you freeze them in any liquid at all or just put straight in the freezer in a tub?
@@thesinkerguy I'm one of those guys without facebook. In the past John Wood supplied me some wt. Spoke to him the other day told me to contact you. Any other options.

Do you happen to have contact info for Brian Curley or a website for him? I'd like to contact him about possibly making parts for me for my beach cart. Thank you!!
LOVE using this bait in the colder water!
I’ve been peeling, cutting, then salting my shrimp like you do your clams, but I’m going to have to try this.
Thanks for the tips

Great video! This tip came out in the Florida Sportsman bout 30 years ago. It works!!
Yep, but I never lived in Florida in the 30’s we need more people like you sharing with people!
I should've said 1990ish, anyways I've caught fish when no one else was! I'm also a big fan of your sinkers.
@@davidparker667 wrong statement there son! I do have a mathematics degree! Now go somewhere else with your hate!

That’s crazy that it does that! Time to get some Diet Pepsi to put in the cooler on fishing days.
Also you can safe all the shrimp you don’t use that day for further trips
it appears to work '' i'm a believer'',. !!!
Try it just one time

Hey man where do you buy your clams in jacksonville? I don’t see live clams at the bait shops I go to
Atlantic coast seafood, R&R crab house, or Restaurant depot is where I pick mine up.
@@thesinkerguy thanks! Recently got into surf fishing out here and your videos have been real helpful. Last question, do the pompano run year round?

Just wondering........ What if i dropped a vudu shrimp in there with the fresh shrimp, for scent's sake. Anyone tried this or something similar??
It might work, test it and let us know.
Does it have to be "Diet Pepsi" - or is that just the cola you keep handy?
I have not tried other! Try and let us all know
Used this trick on Friday to put some whiting in the cooler here in Brevard County...FISH AND GRITS on SuperBowl Sunday!
