Ah the beautiful love songs of the 70s. Unfortunately a man will never sing a song about a woman in this way ever again.
Oh yeah!!!! You are right!!!
Good reasons for that.
This is that 1970's easy listening soft rock that just grabs you. Remember when this song was everywhere, radio, jukeboxes, 8-track tapes and seemed like everyone had the 45 rpm record. The early 70's was the golden age for soft and yacht rock. Others were Orleans, Paper Lace, Steely Dan, Seals & Croft, Rupert Holmes.
I would toss in John Ford coley and England Dan, ambrosia, firefall
THE 70s were the ATOMIC BOMB I was there..
You forgot Eagles who are my favourite im 19 and this is by far the best music great on the ears and peaceful love soft rock hope it has its comeback
This time I'm in it for love. You'll enjoy it
Fk I loved my 8 trak yes OK they were massive but hey 8 tracks dude
The 1970's was a magical time for music, an amalgamation of various genres, smooth vibes, and the birth of modern fusion.
Never knew how lucky we were back then. Just figured music would always be this good but now I’m so grateful to have grown up during this time period 🥹
I have thought the sae thing. Never thought beautiful music would die.
Right! I’m re-hearing songs from the 70’s & &0’s and finding a new appreciation for them. An appreciation I didn’t have back then.
@@Allen-a-torMe too! Listening to all the old stuff and loving it more than I did then.
@@vickya8653 …the good ol days 😁
We didn't realize how good we had it! I am so grateful I was able to experience this music first hand as a teen and young woman. It was the best of times!
Just love when youngins finally hear our music....
I know right?!!!!
70's were a cornucopia of soulful music. My favorite musical decade...
One of those Beautiful Songs from the 70's...Best decade ever for songwriters
Imagine if they still made music like this. AMAZING song.
This song 'leap frogged' the Bee Gees and hit #1.
"There was something in everything about you" is one of the single best lyrics ever in a popular/rock tune. Deceptively simple.
ahhhh yes - the 70's ! can i go back just for just a little while ? in my 20's then with my whole life in front of me. jeez - the last 50 years flew by.
I grew up in the 60s 70s and its just so awesome that young people today in 2024 are listening to this awesome music. You would have enjoyed living in those times.
The song was written by the lead singer and the bassist, so I would imagine it sounds exactly the way that they intended. The harmony that these guys produced is amazing. The lyrics perfectly convey the desperate hope of wounded love.
70's music was all about you sing and write how you really felt, every song had a meaning
Seems so many people when they discover this are so surprised at how good it really is. Silky smooth voice of Peter Beckett and the bands harmonies make it a timeless classic…
This is one of the best songs of the 70s. ❤
The 70s my teenage years and the best music ever.
O YA I was their im 63. So i know that the music was very good in the late 60s threw Evey minute of the 70s
Welcome to the song I've always loved, since its release in 1978!
Listen to the amazing harmonies in Little River Band "Happy Anniversary Baby."
I loved the mid 60s thru mid 80s music
When we grew up with these songs and great bands, life was so beautiful and fun… no internet, no cellphones….we enjoy life…. Oh how I missed those days.
I often wonder if this era of beautiful music is indeed ......... gone forever. In my opinion beautiful music such as this song... will always be in style. After all.. it's about LOVE and LOVE is always in style. Take care
Of course is gone forever, since the mid 80’s steady decay.
Peter Beckett still playing. Voice of Player.
"This Time I'm In It For Love" is their other big hit
Back in the day the songs had a story behind it,,, that music never gets old,,,, the harmony
Anytime be safe and check out that group exile and that song,,, kiss you all over,,💖🥰💞💞💞🥰💖
Thank you for keeping this music alive, great reaction
No problem 😊
It's funny how a one hit wonder group of the 70's had more talent than the entire top 100 of the the year of 2023
"This Time I'm In It For Love" by Player
Love the best music ever made from the 70s, they also play a great song called This Time I am in it for Love by Player
The guitarist in orange played Ridge Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful ❤😊
Yeah and I‘ve seen him in a (actually pretty hilarious) B-movie named „Hard ticket to Hawaii“ 😅
That is about as perfect a song as you can get.
He said “ there’s nothing left for meee” in the soprano voice😂
The singer is Peter Beckett 75 yo now
Al Stewart - Year of the Cat. Studio version. Soft rock/progressive rock from 1976.

Yes PLEEEEEASE Stay in the 70s
The Bass player (dressed in red) later became an actor and acted on a soap opera here in the US. His name is Ronn Moss and his character on "the bold and the beautiful" soap opera was named Ridge Forrester.

Take a trip down the rabbit hole of Ambrosia, just sayin'. You won't regret it.😉
“ There was something in everything about you”…..helluva lyric.

The music takes a backseat to Emma's beauty. 🤗

Damn, I loved this song during it's time and it meant a lot to me during the heartbreak of losing those middle-school "loves" of my life.
After eventually finding real love in adulthood, this song still holds a special place in my heart. And it's an amazing song too. Way ahead of their time.
La década dorada de la música . Por excelencia

Great song. Great review, Emma.
Real people making music with instruments. We have almost reached musical idiocracy.
We use to dance to this song in highschool memories, awesome cool jam 🔥👌😎👍🎶👏
Real music, long life rock and roll
If you have the chance check the Group Air Supply very similar to this group..And for showing me a new way to listen 🎶 music ❤
Fantastic vocals!
Please react to Song Sohee, who will sing Bts' spring day
Imo the best song of the 70's was WHEN WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN by the THREE DEGREES.
i love lots of diff music types, but the 70s soft rock is by far the best!!
"Melanie" is really good as well by them
This was a one time thing. Hit the top...nowhere to go.
Tis a great song.
Come Back!!!
You should listen to "One on One" by Hall & Oates. It's one of their more obscure ones, but it is an amazing soft one with more pop-like elements than this song. Both this song and "One on One" are my favorite songs.
Emma, try "Grand Funk Railroad" Inside looking out
Sweet!
Thanks!
Blimey you're as gorgeous as the song! 😊
Glad you did this although it will forever be associated with my first failed marriage then. Good reaction.
BANGER 🔥🔥🔥 LOVE Ur videos n LOVE U ❤❤❤
