I really enjoy these 3rd floor videos. Never once thought you were bragging. It's been wonderful that you have been able to keep your business and your team of employees going in these trying times. Wishing you all the best of luck and good health.
Profit total has been fun, not taken as bragging at all-- we all know you paud for the stuff originally and then take away the fees and paying your employees... I'm cheering that number higher, because I think you are amazing for keeping your employees going, too, at this crazy time!! God bless!
Why would someone come on here and dislike the video? Just leave, and don't let the screen door hit ya, where the good Lord split ya! Seriously unhappy people.. :( Jocelyn, I love you and Drew, the videos are fun and informative! Happy Mother's Day sweet girl!
Definitely Trolls. That Ashley Rose chick and her posse, most likely. But a thumb down counts as much as a thumb up in UA-cam land statistics. Hate isn't the opposite of love, indifference is. The trolls would be better off to move on, instead they help the stats for our lamp lady. 😆
The very large white and blue cup and saucer is for milk and bread. (Same for the white and Pansy set). When my grandparents retired( 1960s) they would go “junking” and later set up a booth at the local flea market on Sundays. I was ten when I started to go with them. They would go to the local newspaper and get the news hot off the press and drive around to the yard sales in their city. I learned a lot from them and they learned a lot from the other “Junkers”. It was so much fun.
That clear glass dog, that you called a dog creamer, held small multi colored candy balls. It had a cardboard cover on top to hold the candy in the dish. My Dad is 93 and said they were popular back in maybe the 30-40s it’s not a dog creamer. 😍
I personally love sun purple too. When I was little and we lived in a small town in Nevada. And we can go out to the old abandon towns and dig in the dumps and pull out all the sun purple bottles, I have a few of them not too many. My grandma had them all and they disappeared over the years, because this was in the 50s.
I've been inspired by the third floor death pile videos. Definitely not bragging but a real lesson as to how much money may be tied up in the stuff we all never get around to listing. In these strange days when people may need a few extra pennies hopefully you have inspired viewers to get listing. I'm also aware that you listing and selling means you can still support your employees and business. Keep up the amazing work!
So I see this video was posted 9 minutes ago and it is over 30 minutes long, yet two people have clicked dislike. Oh my. I am so sorry that you guys have to deal with such negative people. Love your videos! Thank you for the knowledge and motivation you have brought to me to sell!
Those are the folks who just want to spread negativity. I just laugh and carry on. UA-cam doesn’t see a difference between likes and dislikes and neither do I.
Yes there are so many ugly haters out there ready to dislike nice people like you . They are disliking MOMMY RAMBLING'S BLOG.as she is sharing her tragic loss of her oldest son this week. WHO DOES THAT ? I hope you have a beautiful Mother's Day.❤👍
So kind of you to give us a nice long video for Mother's Day, what a sweet gift of watching you do more clean out. I spent the day pretty much doing the reverse. Instead of packing up I was unpacking. I have washed more load of dishes than I care to think about and so many loads of blankets, clothes and other such things in the washing machine that I am completely beat. It was so lovely to finally just sit down and enjoy your chatting as you sorted things to pack. Happy Mother's Day to you, I hope you have a great week!
I am LOVING these videos! You totally inspired me to hit the death pile hard. Well, then I bid on way too many lots at a couple of online auctions and won almost all of them and we can't use our garage right now... so it's out with the old old to make room for the new old. We're making lots of sales and are so grateful for the extra income while my husband is down to half his regular work hours. I'm "essential healthcare" and making hazard pay, but still make almost half what he does when he's busy. And as you often say, it all adds up. Thank you!!
Hi Jocelyn!🌷🦋🌸 Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you for sharing on your special day and making the start of my day fun and relaxing!! I love your channel and I appreciate you sharing your life and family with your UA-cam family! I never think of you as a braggart, just a sweet lady who likes to share her finds, knowledge and encouragement for collectors and resellers, too! You have a great day!🌸🌷🦋 Love, Lori💖from Washington state
No worries, I have been encouraged to go through my stuff and have listed and sold some stuff I'd forgotten about and still have more to do for sure. Love hanging out with you. Interesting military pillow covers. Yup, I don't buy them either, but those look like they are in good shape and someone will love them!
Happy Mother's Day. I enjoy these "purging" vloggs as it inspires me to do the same (I'm not a seller). Did you give Sue the banana box you made for her?
I don’t know if this would be of interest to anyone else but I’m thinking of starting my own online sales but I have no idea how to set up my inventory system so it’s easy to find things once sold. You have so many folks handling these items there has to be a system. Could you make a video to walk through the entire process and how you keep track of your inventory ?
Happy Mother's Day! I love watching your videos. I have learned so much from you, Andrew and Sue, that when I could go to Goodwill or thrifting else where, I look at things from a different prospective. I'm new here. So, thank you for everything.
Love the red and white bird bag! It amazes me how you can remember where you bought these things. Happy Mother's Day Jocelyn and to all the amazing moms out there!
Ok Jocelyn, where did that come from?? (the bragging part), we (at least your true followers), all know that was to help motivate us, who doesn't want or need extra money? Seriously. You keep staying true to yourself, and we'll all be behind you watching. Much Luv!
ann pricey I’m an addict too! My pride & joy is a 3 1/2 ft tall tree stump in which the base spreads out to about 2 1/2 ft at different points, I debarked it, and stained it, the stain made all the various markings stand out.....and I put a large pot of Ivy on top which hangs to the floor. I think the trunk is cedar, not sure. But it’s definitely eye catching and a forever future heritage piece.
Thank you Jocelyn! I love the 'Death Pile'! I have 2-3 maybe more (yes) and you have helped me get 'back at it', I have a tiny place and they are in my livingroom, bedroom and front porch. It will be great to get them cleaned up and sold, and I could sure use the money!!
I have learned so much from watching you, Jocelyn. Thanks ! I do miss you talking about what you expect to get when you sell the items. I really liked that part of your haul videos. Again, thanks !
EAPG Pitcher - Adams and Company Glass Company - Prayer Rug (AKA) - Early American Pattern Glass - Circa 1881. This is for the pitcher with what looks like a book mark on it and wheat. I love watching you have really learned a lot!
Jocelyn, us who know you though your videos here on UA-cam know that you are not the type of person who brags about your sales and how much money you make. You have no need to explain yourself to us. Though and though you are a really good person. 🤗💕💜💕💜💕🇩🇰
Happy Mother’s Day Jocelyn. There are some fantastic pieces in your hoarder/dearth pile room. I love that you are getting the room organized and emptied.
I’ve enjoyed the profit total. I think a majority of us that have watched you for a while know you are not bragging. I watch all your videos and your my fav UA-camr. You have given me knowledge of items and I have a new hobby now because of you (good thing) .
Sweet friend, please don't trip and fall!! I fell in my hoard room and broke my elbow a few months ago! I hate to see that happen to you! Can't wait till you clear that room and you survive! Love ya♥
Happy to see the room clearing out! Highly recommended taking the items out immediately or relocate them as you touch them tho! Only touch them once :) that shelf and chair keeps filling back up! You can do it haha
Hello! Happy Mother’s Day! Love you and your family and Sue! Want to know something funny? I’m working on my deathpile while watching you working on yours!! You are such a motivation! Keep on sending us new videos!
The big cups and saucers are called breakfast cups and were very popular in Sweden in the late seventies. People eat their cereal from them or drank lots of tea
Me too! Heck, I lived with a burnt out light bulb in my utility room until my 6'4" bf could change it instead of trying to do it myself! My knees would probably sound louder than her squeeky chair if I tried it now at my age!
Loved how you just chucked the paper on the floor after looking at it haha. I do that too. My office is becoming a death room right now while my husband and i are renovating. Too much going on right now to be listing. Ill get to it eventually :P
Inspiration video for me. Been working on clean out my board for a yard sale and what ever is left over from it will do research before I decide to sell on Ebay. Edited to correct board to hoard. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures
I’m looking for a Vintage Starburst MilkGlass Lamp, I have seen a couple on eBay. But I like to support My Favorite Sellers so I wanted to check and see if you might have one stashed away somewhere. Thanks Joslyn your so cute!! Love Your Videos 🌺 🦋 😀
Good Morning! I’d use that large tea cup as a planter it’s really cute. I can’t stop looking at the wicker basket. So nice! It’s a boho style and that’s in right now. Have a fabulous day! You are doing an amazing job cleaning up your space.
Darn it! I thought for sure I’d be the first comment for a change but NOT! 🙃 I never saw Sue do a video with the banana box you made for her and I hope to see what you gave her. Does she have it yet? Good job sticking with your death pile. You are making great progress!
I wanted to know that too! We haven’t seen Sue open her banana box yet. You know what I would love to see? A Jocelyn and Sue tea party that we can sit in on. Just the two of them at the table chatting, I miss seeing them interact together going shopping.
My death pile is all over the house! I had planned on renting a storage unit before the pandemic hit but have put it off for fear of not being able to access it. But trying to list from my death pile every day! Thanks for the encouragement!
Happy Mother's Day, Chickie. I have a 3 room apartment that looks like your third floor "death pile". The baskets are not fishing baskets. There more along the lines of sewing baskets. My Grandma had some from Central America. She used hers as sewing baskets
Wow are you fast at packing up those stemless cosmos daisy pieces (joking, lol)! Great video, and I'm excited to see what you do with your room when it's cleared out. 😊
The giant coffee cups would be nice with succulents in them. Just plant the succulents in something that could be set down inside the cup, so you don't ruin the cup.
I'm sure you guys have found out by now, but the California Pottery lobsterware was designed by Brad Keeler, a potter born in 1913 who died in 1952. So 1902 can't be a made date, but a mark of the pattern or ? He did some "Bradster" work with a partner before he died. Love that big blue and white mug and saucer!! And the pansy one too! What is the little wooden shelf beside the chair? Is it just a side table? It kind of looks like maybe something for a child’s room?

Don't you just love when people use the expression "oh my"
So what if 2 people put a thumbs down. Entitled to their own opinion.

I’m a houseplant addict and immediately I thought the giant teacups were planters. That’s what I’d use them for, anyway! 🌿🌵☺️
I agree. McCoy made some large cups that were planters.
But weren't they usually attached, cup and saucer with a hole in the cup? I had a few of them and that's how they were made....
