@@leverBoyluke I swap between the GR1 21L and GR2 26L (both 210D). With either one I’m using I always have either the GR1 GR2 FP or Dopp Kit mounted internally or to a Grey Man Tactical rigid molle panel. Also, through my testing, each field pocket and dopp kit I’ve managed to fit everything from a Sig 365X to a Staccato C2 with a TLR-7 and RMR, and everything in between (for size references).
@@tjaden1000 Man that’s awesome! Wish I could see a picture or video of your setup. I love seeing how my fellow goruck people setup up the custom bags. I just bought the Long Ranger Grey Brown version for my range bag. It was big enough to hold all my gear.
Definitely a good pack. Had to pick me one up because of you. I got the bullet ruck. The zippers were super smooth out the package. Like the suggestions on stuff to put in minez
What holster is that for the 365? I like the pack... waxed canvas has that classic, rugged, utilitarian look that stands out on that color, not to mention it’s practicality. Those padded straps are amazing.
Absolutely 💯 agree! This is my all time favorite pack that I use everyday. That canvas has always been my favorite material. The 365 holster is made by S.C. & Company Maker Texas, that’s all it’s says on holster. Not sure if they have a website bc I got it at a local gun show. Cheers man!
Excellent Video sir! I’ve been looking into these bags as a potential EDC/weekend pack and it seems to check all my boxes aside from the lack of mole in certain spots. Seeing as you mentioned the Scars Customization program, the modifications you had done are almost exactly what I would like on the bag as well, especially on the sides to carry water bottles or maybe even one of their extra pockets. Question: How do you go about sending this in? Did you have to use the warranty for it, or could you request the modifications BEFORE you receive it? If it is under warranty, did it cost you anything, and if so how much and how long did it take for Goruck to complete?
@@leverBoyluke I got myself a 26L GR1 in Cordura! I love it to bits, plenty of use on it already. Though I think I would have loved the waxed canvas, this Cordura has an undeniable feeling of hard wearing endurance that I love. Plus with the molle, I just strapped on a cheapo Amazon water bottle holder and it so far, has held up just fine. Your review was one of many that led me to GR, so thank you and cheers!
@ That’s great man! The cordura version does feel extremely tough and I think it will hold up to elements a lot better than the wax version. I have one as well and I love it! I’m happy my review helped you make your purchase! Cheers!
So its not quite as durable as the 1000D but it has been plenty durable for all of my needs. Its definitely easier and more comfortable to carry than my cordura bags.

Does not apply at all, just another bullshit opinion. Costs too much for you, use a plastic walmart bag, those are free and a few of them will carry everything. Or hey, start a company, build this same pack and undercut Goruck to the price you think it should cost, good luck.
@@j.taveras8447 LOLOL! 🤣. You a kid? You owned yourself in your first sentence. It is appreciated. Read a book. One of those without all of the colored pictures on each page. It'll do you good. 🤣😂😂.
That’s a nice pack. I have a large Alice pack for bug out. But need to get a truck pack just in case. Good option. Thanks for video🇺🇸
Thanks man! I like those Alice packs as well 👍🏻 You’re welcome got more coming.
This brand looks like the KING of backpacks. I just found them. Big fan of Maxpedtion but this looks even better
Oh man they are king. So simple but that’s what I like about them.
The Field Pockets and/or Dopp Kit mounted to the internal molle makes the perfect place to carry a pew pew 😊
I’ve seen the Field pockets they look really great! I love this back pack so much. Which one Do you have?

H&K morale patch adds 10 hit points to the wearer.
Haha yay! My only patches are HK and Sig, well besides the Duck Hunt from NES one Lol
May be a odd question, but can you hike with this? Will the material hurt (rub) shoulders after awhile? Or would you get cordura for hiking?
Absolutely you can! Either material would work, cordura will be a tad be lighter weight wise.
Ripley loves the backpack
Margy is finally a fan of Ripley ❤️
Great mods. They should put that extra stash pocket you wanted and the side handle you added on everything they make
Man i agree! I think they just started doing it too

I’d really like to get the ruck! It’s a great bag as well.
Where did you get the bead on the front zipper? Adds a nice touch to the pack.

Cool how you upgraded your bag.

Does this 21L Goruck fits the 16” Macbook Pro????
