I start lashing soon, and I just had a total meltdown today feeling like I couldn't do it and majorly doubting myself. This really helped, thank you!
The other day I did a lash assessment and I just couldn't seem to hold the tweezers right it felt awkward and I just kept dropping the lash. It felt like an endless task but I got there. Didn't lash every lash but it looked OK I did pass xx

This is so encouraging!!! I just started lashing and my first classic set was 4 hours 😫😫 and I didn’t lash every lash I’m so upset with myself but I saw your video and it made me feel better
Same here I didn't lash every lash and the natural lashes were criss crossing making it harder to isolate. I didn't give up tho xxx
@@lorisimms girl same. just did my second classic lash set today and it really took me 4 hours WITHOUT lashing every lash 😂 such a frustrating process but it’s really comforting seeing people have the same struggles as you! it gives me hope 😂

Omg this is like heaven sent 😭 I just started lashing and I did my sisters lashes and they are falling off after 3 days and u hit every point. I got so discouraged because It took me 3 hours and 30 min 😭 and I didn’t lash every lash. Then when I made her open her eyes one was fuller than the other 😭🤦🏻♀️

This happened to me a few weeks ago and I was so devastated and I kept on practicing and now I am doing my RUSSAINs and they are lasting a good 2/3 weeks just keep on going I know it is stressful but it will pay off

I’m struggling with the same thing , I’ll do a full set & it’ll take me 3-4 hours & they will start falling off after 2-3 days 😭
I just started my lash journey recently and I’m having this EXACT same problem! Even if I map I notice one eye is either fuller than the other…. can you give me some tips on that😭🙏🏽

True, I was telling my boyfriend that after 4 hours of having my sister laying there and not being able to lash as much as I thought I could, had me feeling discouraged... i just got my certificate 1 weekend ago lol. Im so impatient 😤

New lash tech. Thank you for this. I did research into lashing and didn’t realize how many struggles their were in regards to this. I really appreciate your advice.
Updated: I have done a couple a few more clients. And after this video, I did start to build more confidence and now I finish within 1. 30 minutes. I just been really slow and build up my clientele but now I’m able to give a cat with fullness to the lashes they don’t look empty and I do it within an hour I am very proud of myself and how far I’ve come it's just the clientele for me it’s been hard to get ladies to sign up I have offer November sale but still haven’t gotten anyone
My first client was a classic and it took me about 2 1/2 hrs
My second client took me 3 hrs and I didn’t fill up all the lashes bc her bf came to pick her up but I honestly saw an improvement
TODAY I have another client later on today and I need some encouragement I hope it turns out okay/good 😬

Can you do a video on how to deal with so many lash layers, baby hairs, downward lashes? I am a new lash tech and I am having difficulty with this 🥺I tried taping back the lashes and get the bottom layer. However, those bottom layers lift up making it difficult for me to apply a extension on.
Yes!! Downward lashes should be illegal

i’m glad u made a video about this. i thought i knew how difficult lashing would be, and then i got certified 😭 instagram models don’t even look the way they do online due to editing/angles etc. practitioners do the same thing. it’s our portfolio, so i get it. but when the only media portrayals are inaccurate, it makes it difficult 😅

This video was soooo needed i started self teaching my self a year ago and i was decent but then got discouraged because it wasn’t happening fast enough i didnt think i was good..however i took my lash class sunday and i am so ready to do this i am way more encouraged and more passionate about it. I was literally the worst from my class 🥺 it took me 12 hours to finish one eye! I love it so much but I'm so bad at it , I'm going to keep practicing every day that I can .... even though everybody laughs at me for not even finishing two eyes ..... everyone pushes my hopes down ..😐 I hope to prove everyone wrong in the future
I believe you will be the best tech in your area, and go for what you love. If they laugh so what. Do what you love only you can live the way you want can't nobody do it for you.

Thank you so much for posting this video. I am a people pleaser too and the first set I did was on my daughter in law. I felt so defeated until a few days later, knowing she had not lost but one or two lashes, then I felt more confident. I am my worst enemy so this was very uplifting to me.

I have been working on my sister and she tells me I need to gain confidence bc as you mentioned, all these sharp tools so closed to someone's eye i get so scared to hurt someone. And she says she feels how tensed I can be... getting so nervous that my fans don't come out well when at times I'm really good at it! Another thing I'm struggling with i think my glue dries too fast for my skills at the moment... i CAN NOT get it to stick! Is so heartbreaking when I have this beautiful fan and it just doesn't stick! Ugh. I got so nervous with my own sis i forgot to map! 🤭🤦♀️ like calm down thats just ur sister! Lol but she tells it how it is. Lol thank you so much for this video. Practice makes perfect and it will get easier, im sure of this!

Really enjoyed this video. It’s hard starting out as a lash tech. Meeting expectations and pressuring yourself to do sets. My first set took almost four hours and their lashes was so straight it was so hard! They were falling off after a week I was devastated.

Hi Danielle, you are so on point about the shaking I am experiencing that right now being new in the lashing world , I only lash on the weekends cause I work fulltime, so the entire time I'd be thinking about lashing and what my clients are going to think of me after the experience and it's hard, plus I am struggling to fill all the lashes, but I will practice what you're saying..thank you for videos

I took a xtreme lash coarse years ago and now getting back in to it. I took a refresher coarse with a lady a town over and have watched numerous you tube videos. I got a lash set booked for next week and im scared shitless. But the way I look at it as I want this and im going to do this!!!!! -plus I look at all the money I spent trying to do this😆😆😆
