    This was an excellent excellent video!!! But I paid over 1k, and she taught me nothing if it wasn't for me reading her manual over and over again. Then, practicing from UA-cam before I got certified because it was during Covid when things were shut down, but I just got recently certified, it took me a month. Luckily, I studied a lot!! She got very frustrated with me and never checked on me. I vetted her because she had 25 years of experience!! I hopefully start Esthetician school in the spring. I currently practice on my husband and friends!
    Also, I did take my time with people I watched on UA-cam because you're right! I knew that there were some that I was wondering if they had been trained from a cracker jack box! So until the world opened up again, I had to vet the videos I watched, and I just watched Arielle for the longest time! Others from other countries, Yoyis, it was hard, but I got certified and happy! Now I'm waiting to go to school. Sorry so long. Happy New Year, Yoyis!!🥳🍾🥂🎊🎉

    Thank you for sharing, I'm a stay at home mom of one toddler and I been having my lash license but can't seem to find the "positive " in trying to lash from home while having a toddler in the house. I have everything except a lash bed and idk how to lash mom do it lol do you have or planning on having kids and if so how would you lash and take care of a kiddo. .I might be over thinking 🤔

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  Рік тому +1

      Hey Hun. Honestly I wouldn't know who to help you with this. I'm not a mother and I have been planning on having kids for awhile and I've thought about this a lot and if I'm being honest I would probably stop lashing for atleast a year till my baby is old enough and I feel comfortable having a family member or my husband watch over my baby. If that was me I would work around my husband's schedule. During the day I will be with my baby and at night when he gets home i would do my clients that way I have someone to watch the baby. If this is something you really want to do, i recommend to get a lash bed and have a separate corner of your house to lash and work from. Trying to lash in the living room while your family is home will be hard especially when you have a baby that will be asking for your attention. My best advice is to get a babysitter or a family member to help you when you do have a client. I have friends in the industry who do that. It's like having a regular job and if you had a job outside your house you would do the same in getting a babysitter or someone to help you. There's ways around it and maybe you are overthinking it. Again if this is something you want to do I'm sure you'll figure it out. Remember your baby is probably the reason why your doing it. Probably for extra side money or to have a hobby. Whatever your reason use that as your motivation to figure it out. Wish you the best Hun.

    My state requires estheticians to have a cert in each .. I figure I'd start with a classic but my state doesn't have anything in person yet. Is your online course going to give me what I need as an esthetcian to lash? You seem so easy to follow which would be great. And is your online live? Or how do u see if my work is right ? I'm so old I never did online school lol

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  Рік тому

      Hey Hun. Where are you located at? Maybe I know someone who does trainings there. And if your a licensed esthetician than taking my online course does certify you to do lashes. And no my courses are not live. They are pre-recorded videos and you can learn at your own pace. Once you've completed your course you'll have to send me pictures of your work so i can go over it that way I can certify you. I recommend to sign up to my Yoyis+ Membership that way you can have access to my online courses for only $19.99 best part is you also get my products for 50% off with free shipping. Only thing about signing up to my membership to take my courses is it doesn't come with a kit. You'll have to buy it separately but atleast you'll be saving so much money doing that. To learn more check out the link in the description box of this video.

    I would love to know and learn more about being a eyelash tech having struggles to deal with. I work as a security guard and I help my sister by babysitting my niece while she works at night. I’m thinking if I do buy your training course I’ll be able to use it to my advantage to practice using your course. Practice how ever long I can, hopefully make some money on the side from that save it for school. Then when I know I’m ready I’ll go to school as an aesthetician get my license and be prepared. And hopefully learn more from there. Whatever could work for me as well I’m thinking that’s a decent realistic plan for me.

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  Рік тому +1

      I love your plan. I always recommend to try it out first and see if this is something you can see yourself doing in the long run and when you know it's a for sure thing go to school and get licensed. It's the worst when you go to school and find out this is something you don't like doing then that's waste of money and time. So try it out, see how it goes for you. Save up in the meantime and then go to school. Wish you the very best Hun 😘

      Hey Hun. I highly recommend to take a course. Rather online or in person because it'll make a lot more sense getting beginner training from someone. You'll have a harder time learning on your own. I do have my beginner classic course on my website if you'd like to get started. I also have the option to join my YOYIS+ membership for only $19.99 and you get access to my online courses. You also get my products at 50% off and free shipping within the states plus so much more. Only thing is if you do that option my courses don't come with a kit so you'll have to buy that separately. For more information go to my website.

    Why a lot of lash artists don't like classic lashes?

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  Рік тому +1

      A lot of lash artist don't like classics because it shows all the mistakes a lash artist makes. If their placement and direction is bad it'll pretty much show their skill level. When they do volume its so easy to hide the fact that they didn't lash 100% and their placement and direction is bad. Classic Lashing is a skill not a lot of lash artist want to improve on because its very tideous to do. Me personally I love classic lashes because when you do volume lashes for so long its nice not having to sit there and make fans for 3 hours straight. With classic lashes all you have to do is place that lash and get done within 1-2 hours. I used to hate doing classics because I thought they were so ugly but in reality they are the most simplest style if the artist can master it. My classic lashes were only ugly because I lacked skill. And I strongly believe that's why other Artist don't like it because it will show their skill level and they are afraid to admit that their skill is not all there. Its perfectly fine if someone doesn't want to do them, everyone has their own way of lashing. But at the end of the day it's what the artist feels comfortable doing.

    I have been licensed for over 10 years and Quit doing hair a couple years ago. I just took a lash class on Saturday with the girl who does my lashes. It was exactly what you were talking about it was four hours it was $600 and honestly I wasted my money I’m going to sign up for your classes because I legitimately do want to get good at this so I’ll start there but it was basically just the worst cheap kit ever the worst tweezers ever and I feel like she just took my money I barely got any information I got more information from your videos. Come to find out after googling Which I never would’ve done if I didn’t watch your videos to find out the laws in my state is that you have to be licensed so now I’m realizing I’m getting my lashes done by someone who’s not even licensed and that’s illegal in their house and paying them to get a certification where I feel robbed. This is annoying but I’m thankful you’re shedding light on it for me.
