I like placing the lashes by running them along the lash and then finally going in and placing the lash on the underside as opposed to the top and that helps me make sure the lash is connected at the base.

I did my first ever D curl set last week after only being qualified for a few weeks and they all fell off within 4 days so I definitely didnt apply them well enough and like you said should have angled my hand more to make sure it was attached to the base. I'm terrified of doing another D curl set now 😂

@@DanielleMount I’m taking at least 2 hours on sets, ensuring that I’m properly isolating and applying to the NL, and I’m still having retention problems. My questions are below:
If we are struggling with retention, is it still fair to charge for lashes? Or should we drop our prices? I just feel like if the retention isn’t there, then the client isn’t really getting what they pay for. I’m using Stacy Lash glues and LashesbyKins/Yegi Beauty lashes, my products are not the cheapest.
I’m using Yegi Beauty primer. I’ve heard primers could possibly strip the lashes of any good oils, therefore making it harder for the adhesive to stick to the NL? What’s your take on this?
What are your thoughts on doing a lash lift before extensions? I’ve had clients come in with very short, thin, and curly lashes. So curly that it’s so hard to isolate and nearly IMPOSSIBLE to apply an extension. How long do you recommend a client wait between a lift and fresh set?
Im currently lashing from home until I get enough clients to lease a studio. My lash room is upstairs in my house and gets kind of hot , over 75 degrees. (I live in TX) The humidity is fine, but the temp sometimes raises. Does this really have an effect on the adhesive?
I’ve tried several glues. Stacy Lash sensitive was my first glue. Then Yegi sensitive. After still having issues I got the Stacy Lash Strong hold. I first opened it YESTERDAY RIGHT BEFORE using it, and the following morning my client still had fall out.
Please answer my questions. I would appreciate any help, pointers, or motivation!!

I really want to send this to one of the lash girls I went to, I think she's pretty new to the game which is totally cool, but my lashes would fall off within the first 4 or 5 days from getting it done/filled, etc. I went to another lash girl because I was annoyed with spending good money just so my lashes could fall off within the first couple of days and the new person said " it wasn't glued correctly"

Julie Alsaied not recommended. It strips oils but it’s not meant to be used near your eyes. Johnson and Johnson releases a statement that lash artists and clients shouldn’t use baby shampoo for lash extensions.

What timing glue would you recommend for a beginner? I’m using 1-2 second & I’m noticing they don’t stick when I go to place them on the lash. I’m not sure if I’m not putting enough glue or it’s the timing.

It's just called a kidney dish, can be used in piercing industry, tattooing or medical.
do you have a video on isolating? every time i put an extension on a lash and try to move on, the lashes start to get stuck together and i can never get that full look.
check ur glue dry time! if youre fast & using a 3-5 sec glue dry time theyll get stuck together!
is cleanser the same thing as lash shampoo?

So if you have already laid a lash and you can see the base is coming off, what would you do? Bc a lot of times the rest of the lash has glued itself on. It’s crazy that when I lay it down it’s together then the base is randomly sticking out
Same here. How did you fix It? I started using volume lashes now since I can wrap the base around the natural lash 😅
Hello Danielle I had a question. If I live in Bakersfield California where it’s very hot in 100’s mostly what glue would you recommend and do you use Anna I mister after each application? I am new to lashing and I must admit I need to practice a lot more. I have my first client in a few weeks and I’m worried I’m not going to do a good job . Maybe I am moving too fast and should stick to just practicing before I start actually seeking paying clients so I can get more comfortable. What do you think?

Ok so quick question really quick sorry if question was already asked but say your clients lashes are very thick can you add on to two single lashes doing the fan method instead of 1 single lash ?
Because I've noticed some clients eyelashes are not really this far apart were u can see each individual lash so if their own lashes are really close can you just merge 2 of their lashes and apply the extension lashes using fan method ? Hope this makes since
