    Can you do a video about mapping only 🙏🏼
    Like, how to do the cat eye, kitten, doll eye, natural
    We as beginners, tend to stick to natural to be safe 😩
    Detailed video on mapping would be so helpful

    Love the tips! I took a mini break from lashing and after a few clients recently, I’ve noticed that my shoulders are aching 😩... I figured it was my posture mixed with getting back into the swing of things. I’ll definitely try your advice 😉

    Can you do a video on lash mapping 🙏🏼
    I only know the basic natural mapping and I’m struggling to understand the mapping
    It would help out a lot for us, the beginners, an in depth video on lash mapping
    Explaining how you divide it into sections and eye styles

    I made such a mistake advertising for free models without a deposit. I’ve had 2 people flake already. And I book only one person a day right now so the whole day is wasted. Definitely when you’re advertising looking to do free work at first ask them to pay a 30-40 dollar deposit that they get back when they show up. That way they’ll definitely show up and the flakes won’t even bother with you.

    love your chancel. You are very informative. I have a question. My daughter is doing lashes for a couple of months now. She had a client yesterday who left without paying her. My daughter finally got through to her after several texts messages from my daughter. I would like to know how would you have handled that situation and what advice do you have in terms of people paying you for services? Thank you.

    Hi Danielle! I just found your channel about a week ago and I’m loving it so much, thank you 🙏🏼!
    I’m juuuuust starting out, lil baby newb lash artist over here waiting on August to get certified and I’m practicing on my mannequin, studying what I can on UA-cam, and using my termination pay (lost my job unexpectedly- leap of faith into new beginnings!) to cover cost of my program and start up supplies.. it’s all so exciting!
    I’m paused on a different video of yours on my tv (where I can’t comment 😭) but in it you said something about leaving business insta tags in the comments so you can help build the community of girlbosses helping girlbosses so if you’d like to add mine, I just made it but will have model pics in the coming weeks!!! Thanks again and lots of love and best vibes to you 💖

    How do you feel about lashing during Covid? It doesn’t seem like it’s going away anytime soon and was just wondering if there’s any advice you can give to someone who’s trying to start their own business

  • @PatriciaGomez-fp6gt

    This is like the total opposite of what I’m doing 😩😭. I have two months being a lash tech and I’ve lash like 3 of my friends free of charge and I told like 5 others that I’ll lash them for free so I can get the practice in for the month of December. But as of January I’ll start charging. Ppl love free things that’s how I finally got them to let me do it. 🙈😭 I have definitely invested a lot more than what I’m getting in return as of now. I wish I seen this video before I did that to myself. One other thing I wanna ask you, how long after you became a classic lash tech did you go for your volume class?

    My hips!!! Omg yes! Do your wrist get better?? My wrist hurt after lashing all day, I notice it when I’m driving the most but it’s the same muscle when I am making fans like pinching and holding my
    Tweezers so tight idk lol

    • @DanielleMount
      @DanielleMount  4 роки тому +1

      My wrist has definitely been better since closing from the pandemic because i got a good long break but it is definitely not 100%! Thats what i do! I always hold the tweezers too tight, its hard to kick the habit once you have it :( Maybe try some new tweezers! I like ones with less resistance so i don't need to work as hard!

    I love you videos 💕they’ve helped me so much but I have a question! When a new client comes do you sell them a lash cleaner ? What if they don’t want to buy your aftercare kit? What should we recommend them to wash their lashes with?

    • @sevenrue4754
      @sevenrue4754 4 роки тому +1

      The person that taught me how to do lashes she includes the lash cleanser in her service price. So every full set comes with a lash cleanser and the full set. She also charges 200$ for classic set and 300 for volume

    • @DanielleMount
      @DanielleMount  4 роки тому

      I always give their first aftercare for free! ❤️ cleanser, brush etc! I have a video showing what I include ☺️

    Hey love all the tips!! I’m from Toronto and my area is so saturated, other experienced lash artists in my area all charge very low like $90 for a full volume set and $50-60 for a classic. I’m just starting out but I don’t know how to increase my prices, I feel like if I increase them, I would lose my clients.

    Danielle love all of your videos, but one question I have and sorry if I missed it, is how do you and when do you break up with toxic clients 🤔😓

    • @coralautumnrose8258
      @coralautumnrose8258 4 роки тому +1

      I came across a video, I believe by Sam Vay, where she discuses just that. Basically, clients that aren’t willing to take you, your business, your time, or your prices seriously need to be politely told that there’s _______ lash services in _______ area that would be able to better cater to their needs. It’s short, sweet, and to the point. I’m just starting out (getting certified in a couple weeks and practicing on my mannequin at home til then while studying UA-cam videos lol) and I’m so acquiescent in my personality to begin with so I worry about future toxic clients 😰
