Back in the old days, Filipino men were expected to sing beautifully in order to win the heart of the girl they fancy.

Same... Do you know what's the kicker? My older sister and I have the same voice and we always harmonize... I swear we are twins if she is not the oldest and I'm not the youngest... We look alike, speak alike, and act alike. Even our parents become confused. 🤣
All of us siblings are on the choir since we are a child... I'm the only one who started during I was a toddler so... I am the one who knows many technique on singing...
But they truly never heard me when I'm seriously singing on the church, I sang so seriously on it... That I got my throat sore for several days from singing several days on the choir because of an event. When my aunt on Japan always go back here in the Philippines, she always likes to make me sing a song or two. It's hard to make me sing outside of home and church because I get so embarrassed and laugh a lot when people looks at me and I can't hit the higher notes because I'm so nervous and I can't open my mouth wide.
Now a days, I've noticed that there's so many foreign nationals who love to make their reactions about Filipinos, Why? .... Simply because we are very appreciative when we are recognized by other countries. In return, we respond to their reaction videos with so much love and support. And I'm so proud of you all! Please continue to watch and support to those who support us. ❤

we don’t really react that much when someone is singing around like that coz its quite common here. But if the voice is really amazing and it catches our attention, we listen and appreciate it of course. Hehe

We Filipinos include singing in everything that we do. We sing when we're cooking, cleaning, gardening, doing the dishes or even when we're just simply walking. We sing when we're happy and we also sing when we're sad. Do you know that singing lessens the burden of one's heart? Singing is simply part of our life. Maybe that's the reason why Filipinos are happy despite our country's situation.
That's why most of the foreign entertainers in Japan are Filipinos, I've heard.

Maybe its because Filipinos support anyone who's singing especially your family members and friends. They don't care if your not good in singing. In classrooms Filipino students love jamming with friends. It does not matter if your good in singing as long as you have fun.

We love singing so much that we're subconsciously training ourselves how to sing well. Not to mention we have a lot of good references/examples of how to sing well because most celebrities, be it actors, singers, models, can generally sing very well. Lol

Singing is one of filipino friends and families bobding. Any ocasions like birthday, fiesta, christing, wedding, and even funeral are not complete without videoke singing 😅😅
