@@Killermcknight I cried once and once only. I started just after the first note was sung. Then continued crying through 'Amazing Grace'. Right to the finish with Elha who was 11 I think. She won this competition. She has an incredible voice. Zephainie won the adult version at 16.
The reason these kids do so well is because they are constantly being built up by everyone around them. They are not afraid to take risks, or fail. It's amazing to hear the crowds at shows and they root for everybody. They also will absolutely sing anytime, anywhere.

A judge not turning around does not mean they do not acknowledge the talent of the kids. Sometimes, they just consider the style and genre of the singer. Sometimes they think the kid will do better under the mentorship of a certain judge.

In the old days in the Philippines, singing is part of a courtship called "Harana". The man will visit the girl at night and will sing outside with a guitar, to please the girl he loved.
We are like the penguins in the movie "Happy Feet" who sings their heart out to get a partner in life. 😂
But sadly those good old days are gone now.😢
Nowadays, Filipinos sing with a videoke in every occasions and gatherings.
Singing have been a part of a Philippine culture ever since.❤

1:17 To be exact, Filipinos have two official languages: Filipino and English. Filipino is the national language and is based on Tagalog, but it is not identical to Tagalog. Filipino incorporates elements from other Philippine languages and foreign languages to create a more inclusive national language. While Tagalog serves as the foundation, it is just one of the many languages spoken in the Philippines, along with Cebuano, Ilocano, and others. ❤

Everybody got teary when the boy in his tribal suit sang Amazing Grace it is so rare to have a member of our local tribe would join. Most of them became pro artist. The girl who sang Problem won in the local franchise of X Factor now a singer and host. Kids who didn't get in later on join again as a Teen or young adult.
