      @@uv77mc85 the cheapest I have seen 8 voice rev 2 desktops for is $1350 with a couple hundred more for 16 voice. For me personally a big draw would be having the settings for both layers (would have to be a "live" patch not just recalled) right there on the knobs in front of you. IMHO that is what could make the Super Gemini such a compelling synth among other things.

      There aren't any tuning issues. It's very stable after about 10 minutes of warming up. You can choose between three settings how accurate the built in tuning function tunes the 8 voices. Another parameter is called "voice spread", simulating inaccuracy of the 1V per octave settings per voice. Amazing!

    Thank you so much for this video, gets me by when I wait for my one from Thomann. I am currently in the UK. Thomann have been very unclear about what sort of power supply it comes with. Please may I ask you if your one came with a wall wart (psu integrated into the plug) or is it a laptop style “brick” with a dc wire going from brick to synth and a detachable mains lead going to mains wall socket? If it’s the latter, I can simply replace the standard mains lead with a UK one, but if it’s a wall wart, I’ll be stuck with a wobbly push-on adaptor, which I don’t want. Any clarity on this would be very helpful. Also please may I ask which country you’re in please? Many thanks. Liked and subscribed.

    Wondering how this compares to a Deep Mind 12

      I haven't got a Deepmind so can't compare. It's quite versatile and the overall sound is convincing.

    Behringer worst company, how dare they make 8 voices of VCO analog accessible to noobs...now us rich guys who spent house payments on analog synths won't have any advantage over noobs any more. Behringer needs to be stopped.

      I ordered from Thomann Germany. They told me that I was among the 10 first people having ordered the synth. The first batch was sold out in a few minutes.

      @Bernd_Bruening  Рік тому +2

      No. Didn't you ask the same question for the UB-Xa? Well, there are only a few analog synths that a multitimbral. The Pro600 wasn't either.

      What’s better for one isn’t for the other. Subjective term. I think my system 8 is better than the Juno 60 I used to have. But most people think that’s a really bad take 😂
