I love this cover. For me it is just perfect, I also like the guitar. And I don’t understand how Eve didn’t laugh when Angelina began to laugh, this is the best part of the performance!
The guitarist works it out as she works out how she's going to sing it. This is very early stages with this one.
Angelina's tone and performance was beautiful as always. The thing is that sometimes Egil's head movements make Angelina laugh, like in this case. They have been really good buddies for a long time ;)

Thanks for another amazing reaction, Eve. Even in contemporary songs (this one by David Guetta is about 10 years old and is published with the voice of the Australian singer Sia) Angelina manages to give a magnificent interpretation, full of passion and with an impressive technical ability, in my opinion much more emotional than the original. And in the end she is wonderful in her natural reaction of a child to burst out laughing as Egil (splendid) continues to swing. Even in this Angelina and Egil are comfortable, both have a great passion for music.

For what concerns the cover itself, I have to say that I like it a lot: the way Angelina's interpret it, the way Egil accompanies her, certainly agreed between both knowing how Angelina wants that an interpretation has to be, even if you say that guitar sounds too loud, you can still clearly hear Angelina's voice (not covered by guitar, which is not the case with some records live with the Norwegian Army's Staff band).
This is a performance in the top of my playlist, far more enjoyable than Sia's one.😉😍

I have a small group of AJ covers that I rank at the bottom of all her performances. This is one of them. Often it's because I'm just not a fan of the song, and that's the case here. She sang it beautifully. And you're right, the guitar reverberation is a bit much. But I love the breakdown into laughter at the end. Egil's head bobs when he is playing almost to the point of distraction. And she just couldn't contain it anymore. That's why most, if not all, of her performances with Egil are more like rehearsals---not at all polished. When she moved to L.A. and began performing with Ivan, the acoustics improved and the products became much more professional. Several of those with Ivan are in my top 10. Another great reaction, Eve. 😊💕
This time I must disagree with you, William. The difference between Egil and Angelinas songs, and the ones with Ivan, is plain and simple around one year difference in age (with the slight maturity change of voice), and the acoustic setup. The setup in Norway was just very simple and naked. The sound was very difficult to set up properly, with their smaller room, concrete walls, and not to forget, her old mike and equipment. She got her Neumann TLM 102 mike at her 12th birthday, Egil did not have the pleasure of playing with that mike, or her better setup acoustics. All of the performances with Ivan, is with that mike, and this better setup. Dont mistake the one for being better than the other either vocally or guitar wise without that in mind. In my opinion, Egil is even a better guitarist, I have attended to a few of his performances as well. He is brilliant. The chemistry between him and Angelina, is beyond anything I have seen. Remember, Egil was the one Angelina chose to rehearse her Bohemian Rhapsody with, at their hotel in USA. Not Ivan.
Finally, I will say I absolutely love this song here, and their version. The setup is simple, the sound is not the best, but who cannot see past that. I do, and this song is in my top 10 or 15 by Angelina (hard to choose, she has so many masterpieces).

@@sarlina1 Well, you make so many good points, not the least of which is the better acoustics (which I did mention) and that great mike. And I did not mean to imply that I thought Ivan was in any way better than Egil. Although I do believe his guitar sounds better (deeper with less metal sound) because of the acoustics in their surrounding. But for me, the songs she performed with Ivan (A million years ago, stay, and california dreamin') are at the top of my list for whatever reason---acoustics, her age, the mike, and because I already love each of those songs). Also, she and Egil have been friends much longer, and they are very comfortable just playing around. Which I also like. But in the end, the main reason I place this low on my list is because I just don't care for the song. Never did. And looking at all the songs she has covered, there are only a few that I feel that way about. That said, I do place you at the top of my list of commenters I like and respect. I hope everything is good with you and your daughter. Hugs! 💕

@@sarlina1 It's been a while since we checked our personal data. Are you still in Indonesia? I live in Oklahoma, and while we are having some Covid problems, nothing to compare with California. We're about one tenth the population, and almost everyone is now wearing masks. So hopefully we'll see a downturn soon. My friends call me Billy, so feel free to do that. I am back in Indonesia now, just brought Jørgens body back to his family and to his funeral in Oslo. Extremely emotional and difficult, but all went well. I really like Angelina. She has songs of masterpieces. But I think she needs to stop showing things that are not yet prepared. And further. It is high time for her to record in professional studios. The guitarist in this video didn't listen to Angelina at all. He played for himself.

Egil has played guitar for Angelina since her early performances and they are good friends. This was a rehearsal - possibly the first take - and I don't think either of them were too serious about it. He knows that Angelina finds his head nodding amusing and, in this performance, I think he is exaggerating it in an endeavour to make Angelina laugh. She held it together until the end :-) I love it because it is so rewarding to see Angelina :out" of "performance" mode.
