1. Use all dog tails to get 9x39 from Raven.
2. Use pseudodog tails to get .410 (Devotee) so you never run out of good hunting ammo.
3. Stoneblood artefacts can be traded for 4 ubgl grenades per artecfact at Petrenko.
4. Petrenko is the most important npc for trading broken russian weapons.
5. Plague rats and zombies cannot infect you in closed respiration suits like the scientific ones and SEVA.
6. Best weapon for hunting crows are .410 long barrel shotgun with buckshot.
7. As soon as you can buy sawed off kar98 at Sidorovich for very cheap and scope for it, 7.92x57 is cheap enough to afford and most powerful for rare enemies that only headshots with big caliber can kill.
8. Red burer hand can be traded for G43 at Hog (bandit base, save Mongol never kill him) G43 will save you so much time and is basically as powerful if not more than dragunov early game.
9. Keep all the mushrooms they can be traded at the swamp clear sky base 3 for 250 ammo belt of 7.92x57 for the mg42.
10. Mg42 and ubgl grenades are your best weapon in the arena use it to set timer (makes the win price higher) and melt a pseudogiant in 5 seconds.
11. Don't shoot Mongol (the wounded bandit guy in dark valley upon entering) save him and you can trade with the bandits 2 sausage for 1 grenade (unlimited grenades for cheap) 5 for mp5 (unlimited mp5s).

@@CheekiBreekiTv Some extra tips, you can go to any russian mod site and translate it, find mod that changes the drop rate of mutant parts then you can edit all mutants since you now have the creatures folder, the mosquito and fly health into the folder "tushkano" ctrl + f and type immunity then find the section "fly" or "муха", "mosquito" etc and edit their immunities to every type of damage i recommend values of 3 and higher the higher you go the more vulnerable they are to that type of damage.I did that only for that mutant because a bug taking 2 slugs to kill is not only anoying and rage inducing but "the definition of insanity".
I know the meta for bugs are explosives but entering the cave to face pseudogiants and flies at the same time is impossible, also flies shouldn't deal damage to you in seva or higher it is stupid getting wrecked in scientific exoskeleton by some flies.
Another one is to farm Agroprom since it is full of bandits and army members, beware of master army veterans they use artifacts and have much higher health and armor, cheap scoped sawed off k98 with ap ammo from Sidor comes in clutch for this since it's spread is so little even in hipfire.
Ill post my balance mods for op 2.2 including better slight bigger reach for melee weapons + 10cm on each weapon so you can hit the ground with knifes, better knife durability based on their price and rarity, mutant drop chance of 73-79 % funny thing is to kill a chimera and not find single nail on it and slightly more vulnerable mutants to explosion wound and bullet damage, tushkanos, spiders, rats shouldn't tank rounds upon rounds (my thoughts) while (pseudogiants,chimeras,librarians and other big mutants are left untouched since you have to deserve their parts and scream while they corner you 😂), weaker zombies they shouldn't take 40 rds of rifle ammo to kill and easier to kill with capsules.

This mod is absolutely ridiculous. It is poorly balanced sometimes, it takes ages to complete it, and sometimes it’s cringey beyond belief. Sounds like a perfect stalker mod!
Saying "sometimes" is understatement. It's always unbalanced.
100%, I had an exoskeleton and was still getting 1 tapped by PM makarovs xd, the mod is total quantity over quality.

Need to restart my entire run because I not only made the important military guy mad with me, but I also managed to activate the sniper past the bridge who killed an important NPC.

Thank you for the video and the prior one. Had this mod on my radar for a long time, but it always seemed too intimidating to give it a try. Now I think I will at least see if it is for me. It should be a unique experience if nothing else.
I played the original version of this mode OOP and OP-2 when it released. Damn it was 10 years ago. Dont try it guys ( except if u are not >14 y.o. man with good amount of free time). If u are not russian speaker it would be 10x harder to complete it.
But if you decide to go through it, then I can add more tips for you (I guess most of it is fixed now):
1) Look for all the collector's caches (Lots of useful loot)
2) I don’t know how it is now, but previously it was possible to achieve 100% protection for each type of damage using artifacts. Perhaps this function is in the settings of the mod itself, or you need to delve into the game files. The protection of the armor itself does not stack with protection from artifacts.
3) Previously, you could hang artifacts on your belt that give away radiation and you don’t have to carry containers with you.
4) Complete all quests, because without completing one and without receiving some special item, you may not advance further in the “plot”.
5) Previously, the sledgehammer was the strongest melee weapon, killing almost every mutant with one hit. So use melee weapons, they will be very useful in new locations.
6) Very often in Narodnaya Solyanka and OP-2 the logic of the game broke when you completed some quests ahead of schedule, I advise you to use the wiki in such cases, if this has not been fixed.
7) A large number of quicksaves could previously break the game and old saves, use the console more often to save and mark important quest points in the names of the saves.

OP-2.09 was a total jankfest and a broken mess. 2.2 is absolutely not that. Most of these tips are kind of old. Sledge is dangerous to use, and you'll need it for a quest later so you'd better stash it. Although Collector's are great, yes.
The new wiki contains a gigashitton of useful info (including tips, item stats, locations, quest dependencies, bugs, mechanics details) and makes the game far less confusing as it disentangles this humongous mess in plain English. Especially the core mechanics part.
Most soup-related softlocks are fixed in OP-2.2. In fact there was a guy who tried to intentionally break it by completing the story in the wrong order (completing SoC story without switching the Brain Scorcher), but he failed because the devs actually had enough foresight for that.
Large number of quicksaves won't break the game anymore, that's a thing of the distant past. Also there's a hotkey that creates unique saves each time.

@@akezimakI broke the mod 2 minutes in by jumping the railway embarkment and making Kuznetsov permanently hostile.
@@Yuyam12 You didn't break anything, you can bribe Sidorovich to make him neutral again. It's a lot of money in the early game and peanuts later. The game is quite hard to break permanently (unless you start killing quest givers or do some other silly stuff, and you'll be warned in advance about that), everything has a solution (including getting one-tapped) and finding it is often the point of many quests.

I modified the health of bugs (mosquitos, bees and flies) to be minimal (flies tanking a shotgun slug is funny).
awesome you're getting people into some of the whackier & cooler stalker mods!

OP/Solanka/NS is like Hitchcock's movies - starts with an earthquake (infamous Cave) and only gets more intense.
Only finishes NS2016 (most casual solankas) and that was enough for me.
The original stalker trilogy just arrived for consoles could you do a beginner guide to those games or have you done some already?
What's there to learn? The vanilla games are pretty straightforward in how they play. The controls are surprisingly good as well once you get the sensitivity right.

@@SkilledKill Absolutely not a remake of Stalker Soup. Narodnaya Solyanka was the first "soup" mod of note, Joint Pak/OP came after and then Stalker Soup came as basically a western soup mod (making it one of very few specifically English Stalker mods). Both OP and Stalker Soup are based on Solyanka, but Solyanka was the originator.
I remember Stalkersoup's version of the dream cave didn't have the artifact that basically makes you immortal so it took many attempts to make it through alive. Good times
im 2 months into op 2.1 playing on and off and i dont think i even put a dent in it, this mod is insane
why 2.1? play 2.2 it's more balanced (if balanced can be applied to it in any way, shape or form) and more stable.

@@bruh_8129 Play on low settings, static lighting and a lower resolution and it's fine. I recall that 2.2 moved it over to a 64-bit engine, so the performance in general should be better. I sunk somewhere around 1k hours into it back when I was on a potato pc and the only noticeable issue was the HDD loading times.
@@chudcel88 i tried that, but it was still nigh unplayable, 7-10 fps, for me 2.1 runs 30-40, with some areas being 10-15 depending on where i look
@@bruh_8129 At that point, you should just get a new laptop or pc. If your laptop can barely handle stalker, I can't imagine how slow and laggy it must be in general use.
spawner addon is outdated there is new version that adds all the missing stuff and new features like resurrect any npc or teleport when presing + also is translated to english

I just started op2.2 but i cant save, or cant type anything for a name of save. Do you have a solution or anybody else??
I'm having a problem when I talk to miner in the dream sequence. There's no option to get the potion when i talk to him pls help
make sure you have all the gear you started with, including the gear you got from the backpack (ammo doesnt count towards this so dont worry about that), if that doesnt work try cleaing out the entire cave of mutants

for the spawner it seems you can only teleport after spawning in a teleport artifact and having the teleport boxes to each locaiton [ which you can either spawn or complete quests for ]
Are there any alternative spawners were you can just teleport around the map without this requirement?
often teleporting can cause various issues.
Havn't tried the teleport option as it will very likely break a lot of missions, I wouldn't use it personally!
Is there another way to break boxes that doesn't ruin your knife or waste bullets? I notice you using your fists in this video?
he was using fight gloves, and its best to not break boxes early game expect for the ones you can break by jumping on/running at
My advice fwiiw... Add as many addons as needed to make it look more like 2.1
2.2 is very polished, but QOL is way better in 2.1

DO NOT jump the embarkment as he did, it will turn the soldiers at the bridge hostile towards you and you will not be able to do a bunch of quests or get the first knife from Kuznetsov. You will never be able to approach them as they will automatically start shooting if you get within 100 meters and you will never be able to "complete" the game.
you can still do it you just have to be as far away from the military as possible, jumping around that electrica anomaly is usually safe
The exact route on the video is safe and will never make soldiers hostile. You have to be crossing much closer to the bridge to make them angry at you. The crossing works both ways if you crouchjump.

skill issue, just do electric tunnel or go all the way to the other end of the bridge ( its radioactive and has bandits chilling there )
Tips to start OP 2.2? Don't. I've finished the damned thing, and it was an experience I'd not wish on anyone.

IF you have enough ammo for said rifle. Economy in this mod is so abhorrent I can't even.
Especially when we consider "Homyak" questline, when you have to haul literal tons of supplies across the Zone.

LSC mod is in russian only and removes some cringe in exchange for adding some, also changes balance. plus there are billion "fixes" mods that makes some characters immortal to prevent their death from breaking the quests.

Since when does killing Kuznetsov soft lock you out of anything? I killed him on my playthrough and sure I lost out on a few missions but I never got soft locked out of anything, I progressed the game normally all the way up to the army warehouses and then quit due to reasons I specified in a comment last video.
The mod is hundreds of hours long and anything before finishing the SoC story is not even starting the actual game. Kuznetsov is a vital NPC participating in countless quests, including the ones required to progress the story. The game explicitly tells you not to kill him with an obnoxious red message all over the screen, similarly to Morrowind's "persist in the doomed world you have created", which you then did by ignoring it.
Someone already replied to you but I'll double down because it's really important. Kuznetsov is part of an ungodly amount of quests, if you kill him you'll not be able to do at least 3 big questlines and a ton of little side quests. You cannot "complete" the game if you kill him.
Btw reaching army warehouses does not even register as "starting" the game, not sure how you could even state he's not important after quitting at like 3% of the mod.
Eh, a mod that requires you to be on a wiki more than play the game, glad I quit.

This game generally works like this: you are being told something once and usually only once. While it doesn't hold your hand I struggle to remember any examples of something vital not being communicated at all, usually it's players not reading dialogues or warnings. I understand them really, the game is huge and overwhelming, but ignoring that huge message in particular is not something I'd blame on the game.
Ngl I kinda outgrew the shitpost as mod phase
This mod is the perfect example of asinine game design where nothing makes sense and artifical difficulty is perceived as hard.
The vast majority of "gameplay" is you - the player - dragging your sorry ass across the same areas for the 100th time doing the same (No-no Sterlok! We have enough brown turds! We now need the green ones!) 100th lame fetch quest.
If you enjoy having enemies spawning almost on top of you and having limited stash space (2.1 had unlimited and yet they've changed it because it caused crashes - I've had 200h+ worth of loot in the bar stash there, except for the 3 sec lag nothing ever went wrong) then still don't try it out.
The mod might be fun for a few hours but you'll quickly realize the pattern and should drop it there and then because nothing will really change.
The vague quest descriptions lacking any real indicators on where you're supposed to go or do is cherry on top.
I hope you don't play any other game besides this mod because you need to memorize every single bullshit - and if you somehow forgot - you'll have 0 ways to check it again 'cuz what's a questlog for? Amirite?
Having a dedicated website just to even get the idea of what to do inside the game should deter anyone not ready for a huge masochistic P.I.T.A experience because that's what OP-JP actually is.
