What an inspired choice for a harmony singer. Sarah J is among America's most gifted young singer-songwriters, and she lifts everything she contributes to into the stratosphere. To Heaven, in fact. Good job, both of y'all.
Wow, what a nice tune. John's warm voice ist great and I love that harmony singing of you both.
You sound so wonderful together!
John, I am here because I am a huge Sarah fan. Glad I came. You 2 sound great together. Sarah, this is the sound I love. Your voice sparkles in the sparse acoustic sound.
Recommend a song by her for me please
@@jamesellis7277 "Hometown" is one of my favorites, but she's got soooo many amazing songs!
The more connected we are the brighter we shine! 🕯️🎼💜🎩

This masterpiece is criminally underrated..will cover it for sure..do my part
Delightful - beautifully balanced singing/harmonies & playing from two players & singers I greatly admire. I like the song & the melody. Much more than the sum of parts. If more collaborations are on the cards / possible, that would be very welcome. Thank you very much.
Rtfff
Beautiful song. The harmonies are wonderful!!
Does anyone know what open tuning he's using?
I imagine the energy of you two singing together in the same room! This is a treat!
Lovely stuff, and sure, why wouldn't it be! ;-)

😁🙆♂️🙋♂️
Perfect! Number 38 of my personal "1001 Corona Songs"...
Just wonderful. There's perfect and then there's this.
John has followed the lineage of John Martyn and other British folk artists but in his own unique way. I regard him as a national treasure. I was new to Sarah, but not any more! She's unique too of course and they blend together so perfectly here. A great song beautifully performed. Thanks so much to both of you for your music!
Great musicianship, you play with confidence and vocally you have a really good tone. The connection between the song and emotion was beautiful and you have committed to the performance well.
I am arab and i wish the lyrics is written because i like your songs

The HARMONY!!!
So beautiful
Wonderful.
awesome!!
Brilliant
Gorgeous! May I ask what mics you used on this? It's so gorgeous, and was captured so beautifully.
Not sure which mics John is using, but I believe Sarah is using an Ear Trumpet Edwina. I have one as well as an Edna, and they are fantastic for acoustic guitar/singing combinations.
@@charlesfritter9686 Thank you, super helpful! I'll keep digging for his mics.
Brilliant.
loved it.❤️
