I purchased the Saatva RX and now have terrible back pain. I had previously used the Nolah original which was an okay feel, but perhaps slept warm. I am at the point that Saatva will allow me to exchange the RX for a different mattress. Would you have a recommendation for me? I should also tell you, I am a side sleeper and my spouse is a stomach sleeper due to snoring
Can you tell me more about what you dislike about the RX? Is it too firm? Too soft? How do you feel about the hybrid design? How do you feel about the euro top cover? How much do you weigh?
@@HeidiLovesNYC Very similar. In my view, it's a slightly more comfortable / slightly higher performance Loom & Leaf...but instead of a quilted euro top cover, it uses a thin knit cover.
The Contour5 is a reasonably cool mattress in the context of other memory foam mattresses. However, it's not a miracle worker. Also, I wouldn't put much stock in that "10 degrees cooler" marketing claim. Brands (numerous brands, not just Tempurpedic) make wild cooling claims like that all the time and they rarely hold up. Since you describe yourself as a hot sleeper I would encourage you to consider a hybrid mattress, as the airflow is going to have a more significant impact on cooling performance. Did you put this on an adjustable base? Does the mid section of the cover bunch up when elevated? I notice the LL does bunch up
Unfortunately, we did not test it on adjustable base.

How does it compare to loom and leaf in quality and pressure relief?

@@NapLabReviews hmmm and here I thought I was set on a loom and leaf 😂
@@HeidiLovesNYC It's a tough call to be sure...that said, I think if you like memory foam then you could be perfectly happy with either mattress.
Is this something that will get softer over time?
Yes
Virtually all mattresses that contain foam (which is virtually all mattresses) will slightly softer over time.
I run hot all night long, would this mattress work? Been looking at the Tempur-Pedic because it says 10 degrees cooler..
