Unfortunately, I do not. We've only tested the medium version. If it's anything like many other soft mattresses we've tested, and considering the sinkage depth of the medium version, I would estimate sinkage for the soft will be in the 2.5-2.8" range.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will be sure to put this one on our list. I definitely do plan to do a whole testing series on budget-friendly Amazon mattresses. I'm not 100% certain when we'll be able to start that series though. It could be as early as this Winter, but more likely sometime early next year. Signature Sleep will definitely be part of that series.

I finally got to the part where it was the most uncomfortable bed you’ve ever slept on. At least I now know I’m not alone. I couldn’t pin point why, but I just felt very uncomfortable. Your video help me understand what I hate about this mattress.

I wish I knew. Over a period of days (extending into several months) it started to really hurt on rotational motions. X-ray, negative. MRI, nothing obvious. It's been 3'ish months since it started really hurting. Seems to be better now, but I still have no idea what I actually did to it.

Thank you! I too wonder about the durability. But I would guess if you're using this more as a guest room mattress / sometimes couch it might be okay? If anything else, it's super firm, so that should help longevity.

My personal favorite and what I have slept on since 2017 is Loom and Leaf. It's a higher end memory foam mattress. Memory foam has its pros and cons, but for my wife and I the pressure relief, comfort, and body hugging feel outweighs the few negatives. It's fine for sleepers up to 300 pounds, but I wouldn't recommend it for sleepers heavier than that. All mattresses will form body impressions over time. Your weight, sleeping position, body type, foundation, and mattress all factor into how deep those body impressions can be (and how quickly they can form). If you're over 300 pounds (or near it) I would suggest going with an HD / Plus-sized mattress that's better tuned to the needs of heavier weighted bodies. A high quality mattress protector generally will have little to no impact on cooling performance. However, cheaper mattress protectors can have a substantial impact on mattress performance, feel, and cooling (not just for this Casper Snow, but for all mattresses).

I would not say that. It might be, but there are simply too many factors involved in the car crash including your body, the type of car, type of crash, your injuries, your medical diagnosis, etc. to be able to say "X mattress is great after you've had a car crash". That said, I can speak to the sinkage levels. We measured a moderate sinkage depth of 2.15". This is about average. As such, you might find it provides more sinkage than you're hoping for. You might be more happy with the Saatva Latex Hybrid - naplab.com/go/saatva-latex-hybrid-mattress or Big Fig - naplab.com/go/big-fig-mattress Which have notably less sinkage.

I'm sorry to hear the Serta didn't work out. Over the years, the feedback I've received regarding Serta mattresses from my readers / viewers has been "not good" to say the least. I am planning to test at least 3 Serta mattresses this Fall / Winter. I'm really interested to see how they do in our testing. The mattress does indeed use a zoned pocketed coil unit with a more supportive zone in the center / lumbar of the mattress.

Unfortunately, I haven't tested that model. So I cannot say for sur eon performance. But I would guess performance and quality would be similar to what we experienced with this model.

@@encinosarah Looking at the product page I could definitely see it being firmer. And probably also cooler. That said, cooling performance on the Sleep Science Copper Memory Foam was pretty bad...so it wouldn't take much for the Bamboo Cool to be cooler.

@@NapLabReviews ok gotcha, also i think it would be cool in future reviews to separate certain scoring categories for soft v firm. I believe the cooling for this mattress is more effective in the firm v soft

@@JustinWo It's quite possible the firm would be slightly better for cooling than the soft. In an ideal world I too would love to test and score every firmness version. However, given that we're still a very small company we just aren't able to test multiple firmnesses for most mattresses. As we grow I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

According to Zinus it is fiberglass free. That it wasn't always the case. Earlier versions of this mattress did contain fiberglass. Below is the information from the law tag: 67% polyurethane foam 33% viscoelastic polyurethane foam Finished size = 80 x 60 x 12” Weight = 55 pounds 11 oz. Outer cover Top / border = 100% polyester Bottom = 100% polyester Inner cover 85% rayon 10% PAN (polyacrylonitrile) based carbon 5% polyester Made in Indonesia Date of manufacturer 8/2023 Care instructions Spot clean, let air dry Do not bleach Do not remove cover That said, mattress manufacturers often do not disclose whether there is fiberglass or not on the law tag. So just because you see a law tag without it does not mean there is no fiberglass inside. The Green Tea mattress has been around for many years, but it wasn’t until 2022 that the mattress found itself in the middle of a class action lawsuit with allegations of leaking fiberglass causing health problems for sleepers. The fiberglass was later removed from the mattress and seemingly replaced with PAN (polyacrylonitrile) based carbon, an agent that is slow to burn when used as a fire retardant. According to Fisher Scientific, polyacrylonitrile may cause the following potential health effects: Eye: May cause eye irritation. Skin: May cause skin irritation. May be metabolized to cyanide which in turn acts by inhibiting cytochrome oxidase impairing cellular respiration. Ingestion: May cause irritation of the digestive tract. The toxicological properties of this substance have not been fully investigated. Metabolism may release cyanide, which may result in headache, dizziness, weakness, collapse, unconsciousness and possible death. Ingestion may result in symptoms similar to cyanide poisoning which is characterized by asphyxiation. Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation. The toxicological properties of this substance have not been fully investigated. May be metabolized to cyanide which in turns act by inhibiting cytochrome oxidase impairing cellular respiration. Inhalation may result in symptoms similar to cyanide poisoning which include tachypnea, hyperpnea (abnormally rapid or deep breathing), and dyspnea (labored breathing) followed rapidly by respiratory depression. Pulmonary edema may occur. Chronic: May be metabolized to cyanide which in turn acts by inhibiting cytochrome oxidase impairing cellular respiration. Potential cancer hazard. While it’s great to see Zinus moved away from Fiberglass for their fire barrier, the fact that the mattress now utilizes polyacrylonitrile doesn’t seem great either.

I would not. In our tests the Siena (all foam) was a significantly better performer compared to the Siena Hybrid.

We don't normally run our full battery of tests on flippable mattresses. But you're right, perhaps we should have done that side also.

No, it's not. The two mattresses are both hybrids, but that's where the similarities end. They are extremely different in terms of feel, firmness, and a number of other attributes.

Also, I want to clarify that the Luxe GlacioTex upgrade only includes the cover while the GlacioTex upgrade on the standard Twilight includes a 2in plush topper. This should soften the core Twilight dramatically. Seems like a great stomach and back bed and could be a great option for combo/side sleepers weighing 160+ lbs.

@@Jamalogo10 Yeah, you're right, that extra two inches of quilted material likely adds substantial pressure relief and comfort...sort of like a Midnight Luxe-Lite version, if you will.

DreamFoam's line is on my list for testing in the future. We've got a pretty busy fall / winter testing season, but I am hopefully we'll be able to get to those tests soon. I too wonder how close to the Casper One it can come. I would guess fairly close.

AS5 Hybrid is softer than Winkbed softer version. Biggest difference is also the thin cover on the AS5 Hybrid vs. the quilted euro top on Winkbed. Neither is better or worse, but they are very different feels. AS5 Hybrid is more similar to high end Tempurpedic models. Winkbed more similar to high end Beautyrest Black models.
