How to apply pre emergent to your lawn

- Applying pre emergent to your lawn is easier than you might think. By applying Prodiamine WDG you'll save a ton of money and can have up to an 8 month barrier preventing weeds. It's the best pre emergent for spring, and I use it every year.

I am not really sure, but I live in western Pa. and would guess it is rye or fescue.
Back saving tip: Fill the sprayer on an elevated surface. Makes it a lot easier to muscle 40+ lbs onto your back. 😉
I'm afraid I'll knock it over so I do it on the ground. I get clumbsy lol
Still, my go to video after two years. Thanks
You might also consider adding some dye, it helps two ways. First you can see any missed spots, and second with each mix, it doesn’t take long to relate to the amount of die which helps with proper coverage. One can easily see light spots or overly darker spots.
If one measures the die per volume of the mix, then one soon can relate to getting application even over covered area every trip.
Thanks for the great video! I seeded too late last year with my Zoysia due to bad weather forecast so this fall is my first pre-emergent herbicide application. I found this video helpful. One tip I would like to share is to use a turf marking dye. I assume most are the same but what I currently have came from the Tractor Supply Store. I've had it over spray on my downspouts, sidewalk, plastic and wood lattice and fence and I figured if needed I could pressure wash this away, but I've never had to even once because even on concrete it washes away easily with rain. I usually (although I forget now and then) try to spray my first pass around the perimeter without a marking dye so i don't get it on my wood fence, but it hasn't mattered much. As you said, you probably missed a few spots and with a marking dye, you can easily see to slightly overlap your application and not miss spots. For the amount of work involved in treating weeds where you missed, I think it is a worthy investment. If you ever have a leak in a toilet, flush, then put 2-3 drops into the reservoir while it fills back up and if you have a leak, you'll definitely know it in a matter of minutes. Thanks for the video!
I also wear a polyester blend when I am spraying. If it gets any stains you can bleach it and some pesticides are neutralized by bleach as well. Don't forget to run a clear water cycle after you wash if you get much on your clothes, especially if you are doing young kids clothes.
Great tips, thanks!
@@GrassDaddy My pleasure! And I really enjoyed your video covering the "Super Juice" snake oil. Once person somewhere said that on the third lawn where it was roped off when you applied but the rope wasn't there when you returned and you said it was the area beside where the SJ was sprayed, someone (lacking in common sense and logic) felt that proved it worked because you couldn't tell where it was sprayed. Really? If you sprayed section A, then came back later and couldn't tell if you sprayed section A or section B, if they look the same, to me, that just further proved it did not work if you can't see any difference weeks later.
I did get in a crunch and buy his PGF Complete simply because it was the only 16-4-8 +iron I could find and it had some humic acid and other stuff. You could easily see where I had about 6 inches of overlap from my broadcast spreader because my soil was so iron depleted that I had darker green stripes in my lawn. My poor lawn was so iron deficient that I came back with milorganite which has iron (I think?), a couple bags of Ironite, then came back later with another application of the PGF Complete +Fe and I still could see faint stripes where my soil and Zoysia wanted more iron. Although I think the Super Juice is a joke and I would never spend my money on it, my front lawn spread well this first real growing season and there were large gaps in the grass which filled in, and I now may maybe 20-25 sq. ft. (if that) of small patches that didn't quite fill in 100%.
When I wash/rinse my tank out I spray it on the grass, where it can be useful, instead of having a dump area.
Love the calculator tip! Thanks! This will be my first year putting down the Prodiamine.
You're welcome!
Thank you so much! This is the best video I seen on how to apply Pre emergent. Love the Calculator.
This is thoroughly done- every little detail is needed for some one like me who is very obsessive in detail
I've been using prodiamine for the past 3 years on my 2 acres using a tow behind sprayer and man it works fantastic. You can go to the fence line where my neighbor doesn't treat his yard and compare and it's a night and day difference. Works really well with Bermuda grass!
I know it's been 2 years since you posted this but I have a question for you. I am trying to groom 2 of my 7 acres and sprayed Prodiamine at 1.25 lb per acre last Sept. I was thinking about applying another 1.25 lbs. per acre in April as a 2 way split. Would you recommend a 2 or 3 way split application?
@@poisonokie7502 I wound up doing exactly that, i did a second application 5 weeks later. I did an application in Feb, then again in april. I say go for it
Thank you sir
Like your Prodiamine Calculator, but it keeps switching the grass type back to Kentucky Bluegrass every time I click calculate.
I'll look into that!
Just an FYI - you're right you can apply prodiamine only once and have it last, but there are studies showing split apps give better control even though it's the same total amount per year. So if you're willing to put in the extra effort of doing a second app you'll get slightly better results. This applies to any other type of preemergent as well.
I've seen studies that show others but it showed prodiamine had no difference. I'll see if I can find it.
Here's the one I was talking about: turf.purdue.edu/report/2011/PDF/15_AGRY_Patton_sequential%20apps.pdf
One app had 88% crabgrass control, two apps had 95% control. Not a huge difference, but it's something.
Interesting. I'm going to have to see if I can find the one I was looking at. Either way, convenience of one application is for me but I'd be curious how this correlates to weeds that germinate in the fall like Poa Annua. Is it 88% effective against those because of the single app as well? Would be nice to know!
@@GrassDaddy
I strongly agree with 2 apps per year. I've been treating lawns for 12 years now. Its ok with one app, but doing such a heavy rate good chance 1. Coverage won't be as good 2. Very hard to agitate rite.3 so most likely put to much down some where on the lawn.so basically damaging the growth or not allowing new seedlings to germinate like most turfs do
I live in Central Florida with 90% Bahia grass and 10% St Augustine. I might lay down three applications. One here soon in the spring, one in the Summer and one application in the Fall. Great video! I've learned a lot from you and The Lawn Care Nut. Keep it up. Thanks from Sunny Central Florida! 😎
Not sure if it's been mentioned but when using the mixer on the drill I have found it's best to use the #1 setting on the drill as it won't spin up as fast and give you more control.
Yes I should have done that lol
I like to do it in the reverse, so it actually draws it up the side. :D
ooo I'm gonna try that
Big thanks to you for the calculators!!!
Just did my second prodiamine application last weekend. Was a real pleasure with the 20v backpack sprayer.
Yes first time I used it I was like wow this is fun!
Mix in a bit of Marking Dye to prevent overlapping passes.....great videos and content on your website. Thanks!
Someone needs to invent a Creeping Charlie Warrior channel. Because thats all im interested in.
Excellent video! Informative. Raised a lot of useful questions. Thank you! One more question. You did it for a spring. How about fall? Can we put the same way in the fall?
You can add marking blue if you want to be sure your get 100% coverage as you learn.
Just a note to folks like me who want to start grass seed AND want to prevent crabgrass, Scotts Starter Fertilizer wth Weed Control contains Tenacity.
Yes it's like magic
I'm a fan of all these lawn chemicals in granular form. Seems like a lot more hassle and work, mixing and measuring and spraying and ALL the PPE and clean up and gear required.
Yeah it is more hassle but you save a ton
Grass Daddy Really? Hmmm. Well, I'm brand-spankin new to ALL of this. I was just commenting on LCN's latest video that, this time last year, I was dreading spring and summer because of the lawn, my awful mower and my bad attitude about it all.
But, when I decided on the Honda purchase, I started doing research on it and found you and him and Ryan and Connor. Now I'm TOTALLY jazzed to take care of my lawn because, A. I have the right machine now. And B. In learning so much and it's fascinating. It's just SOOOOO interesting.
So, I said thank you to him and I'll say thank you to you as well. You guys are a total inspiration to me and so many others.
Heinzkitz Velvet awesome!! that's why I make these videos.. to show anyone can do it!
Using a hand pump or backpack sprayer might seems like a pain and might be a pain, but using a tow behind sprayer on a large yard is absolute cake for application precision and ease compared to granular. You are also out well ahead of the spray and don't get covered in it.
Have some coming in the mail now... should be putting it down on Tuesday
Perfect!
I have a backyard that is going through a renovation, I tried killing everything off with Roundup but it did not take, now I want to put down Prodiamine 65 in the fall, our soil temps are just above 55 degrees, so my yard is weeds dirt and a wild blend of Bermuda I would love to have it gone, I just want dirt for now so I can get ready to install Tif TuF Bermuda lawn.
How long do the animals need to be off the soil before it is safe to walk on?
I applied to much simazine 4l now my grass looks burnt dry and dieing what can I do to reverse it thank you? It's Been a little over 3 weeks since I put down.
Nice video, but I have to ask you where did you get the 45 degree fitting for the spray wand and the brass fitting that's attached to the 45 degree fitting?
What is the calibration for an ortho-hose-end sprayer? Would you put just the dry herbicide or do you make a small concentrate for the hose-end sprayer?
Do you recommend spraying this on the dry grass or wet grass
Where did you get your scale and pan from
good. thanks. clear and like my next door neighbor. i like your stuff.
Thanks!
What scale do you use I have two kitchen scales and they only single digit, meaning that it only says 2.7 vs the 2.75 the scale also gives me a regular oz and fl oz which one do you use or does it matter thank you for your help
I've got just a cheapo kitchen scale, and regular oz
What do you recommend for fall pre emergent if I just did a lawn renovation? I am seeing a bit of weeds around the edges
Can it be used around pecan trees, lawn has a lot of stickers, pecans are falling to the ground now.
Hey Grass Daddy, my yard roughly 5000 sqft, bermuda grass, in March 2020, I applied max rate recommended 0.83 per gallon of water in a 4 gallons pump spray ( like the one you have), so total was 3.32 oz of Prodiamine. Can I do re-apply the same rate sometimes in October 2020? If so, is it going to hurt my bermuda grass? TIA.
My yard is filled with crab grass and other weeds, if I apply a preemergent will the grass fill in on its own or will I have to reseed?
Can you mix weed killer with it?
Great video Thanks How long before kids can play on the grass after application?
You want to water it in and then wait till it's dry
I’m detaching this weekend should I wait ?
Thank you for encouraging safe application and also encouraging me to get my hearing tested.
Why you ask?
Because I was sure that you said to water in the prodiamine application with a happy enchilada.
Yes, I like authentic enchiladas not the microwavable sad enchiladas.
Grass Daddy John Prime wrote a song about "a half an inch of water", as you suggested to water in your pre, in concert he asked the audience for requests and one lady yelled out "do the one about the happy enchilada!", and he thanked her for listening so carefully to the lyrics! Great song about finding scope to your problems. Have a very good day!
Haha awesome yeah I've never been good at catching quotes and references =P
Any thoughts about mixing in a five gallon bucket then carefully dumping into your tank sprayer?
More likely to make a mess imo
Love all the helpful tools on your site. So the Prodiamine calculator says .18oz / 1,000 sq ft for 3 months protection in a KBG lawn. So I only need a little over a teaspoon to treat 1,000 sq ft?
That sounds about right but I forget oz to tsp conversion 😂
Grass Daddy .. Your fine I appreciate the response. I just can’t believe how little product is needed to treat 1,000 sq ft. This will last me 3 years. I gave the little one a thumbs up, hope she gets her million views. Thanks again.
@@-What-are-your-thoughts yeah that's what's great about going the wdg way you save a ton long term!
You can put the vinegar in the tank that would act as a neutralizer and rents again
What's for Cynthia?
measuring by cups, can you let me know how many cups the 2.5 oz would be? Thanks!
Great job on the video. Very informative as always. I have 2 kids and 2 55lb dogs that are hard on my backyard. I aerate and overseed every fall and do regular fert apps. Still the lawn is thin with weeds. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Try watching the how to fix an ugly lawn video, it could be your mowing height or watering schedule. It also could just be the grass type you are planting doesn't do well under high traffic. There are some blends that work better than others.
Grass Daddy thank you. I have kbg and p rye.
so it's possible the rye is not handling the summer heat very well. I would try feeding the KBG a bit more than you have been, it should spread and fill in. Also if you can mow twice a week during the spring that will get it to thrive. Spring flush is a great time to get it to spread out.
Can you tell me what wand and nozzle your using? The one I have doesn't have as good of coverage as the one your using. thanks.
Really like the video, suggestion, why don't you use a lawn green dye for the chemical you are spraying.
I personally have trouble seeing the dyes so I don't use them
@@GrassDaddy even the blue dye? What kind of mower do you use?
Where can I find that mixter attached to the drill?
How many pump sprayers should I use for a lawn season?
Great video and info...I have the same sprayer that you do. What are all the parts that you have for the blue TeeJet nozzle? It looks like you have some type of brass coupler/reducer between the teejet nozzle adapter and the stock chapin elbow. What is that piece?
So I bought the wrong teejet quick adapter and have a brass adapter from Ace hardware. I believe my Amazon list page has the correct one now, it fits the Chapin and the sprayers plus
Grass Daddy I have a question regarding the Prodiamine you use. I've read the shelf life is only about 3 years and for as little as we will use it could last a very long time. For example I have fine fescue and ryegrass in my yard which uses the lowest amount per 1000 sqft and with my lawn size I'd have the product for like 15 years before it ran out.
I've heard this WDG Prodiamine only is good for a few years if stored right. How long have you had your bottle of the WDG Prodiamine and would it still be effective after the shelf life expired? I agree overall this stuff is cheaper in the long run but hard to say when you might have to waste so much if the effectiveness drops past its expiration. Thoughts?
You rock btw. Love your videos, keep up the amazing work.
I've had mine for 3 years now, I guess we'll see if it still works! I haven't heard of anyone having problems with storing it for longer. Obviously keep it dry and sealed though.
Pendimethalin acts both pre-emergence, that is before weed seedlings have emerged, and early post-emergence. This is the ingredient in Scotts Halts.
Why don't the pros use it?
Dithiopyr*
In my mind, if it's in Scotts, then it's weak and cheap because it's a consumer product meant for the big box stores. _I could be wrong._ I know Big Daddy likes the Weed and Feed Scotts starter fert.
I use Scott Halts too.
I would question Big Daddy's methods if he likes any kind of Weed & Feed.
how are you able to see where you spray??
Is prodiamine safe for Zoisya?
I have a 25 gal mounted sprayer on my JD. I have been normally filling it to 15 gallons. But I am going to fill it up to 25 gal to apply the Prodiamine. How many ounces would I need for the 25 gal? I will be doing the front lawn, beds, and back yard which all together is an acre. (Just moved into the house in Oct, but the homeowners before us never did any weed control).
It's not about how much to apply per gallon, it's about how much product to apply for that large of an area. Then you need to spray it all down. I made a calculator: thelawncareblog.com/prodiamine-wdg-calculator/
Thanks for the help. Will deff use it.
How strong is the smell of liquid prodiamine
Hey GD, nice video. Although, it just seems like the granulars are so much easier and just as effective. And, you avoid the complications of mixing the liquids, purchasing expensive chemicals, sprayers, etc. Do you think that the granular pre-emerge is just as effective, even if it means re-applying in a few months? It's worked for me for many years.
Yes for pre-emergent it's the same effectiveness but the cost for the WDG is significantly cheaper so that's why I go the liquid route
When u say a 8 month period, do u mean that it will last up to eight months?
Hey there. Very dumb and basic question here: If you have a granular pre-emergent should you always mix it with water before applying? I used a Scott's product because that's all I had available.
No, Scott's is meant to be applied dry. I am using 'WDG' water dissolvable granules which is meant to be applied as liquid.
Sup Grass Daddy! Been loving the vids, working on fixing a lawn that was really dead 2 summers ago, looking real good considering. So I put pre-em down a few weeks ago, and was going to try some milo fert next around Memorial Day, but I realized I have about 100lb of Vigoro starter fert I never used last year. If I use that up on my lawn first for my Memorial Day application, would it be a bad idea? It’s a 23-23-3 mixture.-Mike
I'm a fan of using up what you have on hand. I wouldn't go buy starter fert to apply if you didn't have a soil test but since you have it then go for it ;-)
Awesome! Thanks for the reply! Good way to save some cash. I’ll get the Milo going for the 4th of July application.
Is it safe on Bermuda grass
should i Seed KBG prior to spraying this pre emergent.
no pls dont
I'm planning to apply prodiamine but in the granular form. I read that it's safe for pets after a little bit of time to get into the soil. Is this true? I have a dog that plays in the yard.
So you'll want to water it in and then when it is dry it is safe to enter. If you don't water it in the dust will still be on the lawn so if the dog licks the grass it will be there.
What do you think about a walk behind liquid sprayer? With some of my disabilities I'm pretty sure a back pack sprayer would flip me over like a turtle.
I know people that have them love them but they are pricey
Are those the standard nozzles that come with the sprayer?
John Wills he mention about it he got those on amazon. There are the links on the video descriptions
What about overseeding in the fall will this prevent you from being able to do that? Does it need to wear out before you seed like a 6 month instead of 8 ? Thanks for the help
If you use pre-emergent then you have to apply in a rate that wears off before seed down. It's one of the reasons I like prodiamine, it's labeled for 3-8 months so you can plan it out. My calculator helps with the math www.grassdaddy.net/tools/prodiamine-calculator
How much does that jug cover
Calculator doesn’t work? It just lets me choose the info and when i press calculate, nothing happens
First of all, thanks for creating this video.
How soon after applying glyphosate to kill weeds, can I apply prodiamine?
Will the prodiamine stain white rocks like the ones you have in your flower bed in the background?
Thanks again.
Glyphosate will kill grass as well. You can apply prodiamine at the same time if you wish but nothing will grow back. I haven't seen it stain anything. I'm assuming you are looking to make your own extended control round up for a rock driveway?
Grass Daddy - I read that you can’t mix the two in a sprayer (not good to mix the 2 chemicals together). I was wondering if there is a waiting period after applying glyphosate I should exercise before applying prodiamine.
Yeah, I have a customer Who’s entire front yard is white rocks instead of grass. After noticing the mustard color of the prodiamine, I was worried it would make the white rocks mustard rocks.
Can you spray this in flower beds and over an older patio that has weeds go thru the brick?
Yes
This question is not about pre pre- emergent my front grass is blow my driveway without telling it up can I buld up the soil level above the driveway?
You can but you have to do it in increments so you don't smother the grass. Also be sure to rake the grass blades up after. You'll want to use sand or topsoil not compost because the compost will break down and then the soil level will go back down with it.
Curious about what you think going into 2019... do you still think that 1 application got 8 months of protection? I kind of feel like it will get you through spring and then you'll need to reapply in the summer
It's worked out fine for me. When you get the grass thick and healthy it helps prevent weeds too.
can you use this same product as your fall and your spring pre emergent ?
do they need to be different?
Yes - I use prodiamine in spring and fall.
8 months??!! Why didn't I know this?? Is there a granular version of this product instead of a liquid?
There is but I'm not sure if you can put it at an 8 month rate with the dry version.
Grass Daddy ok. Well this is great info. I already put down a product that is going to be good for 4 months which is the middle of July. So, I guess I can put down an application of this to last for the remaining 3 months but I don't want it to interfere with be seed in the fall. So, maybe I'll just until next spring
Yeah I would put it down after the seed has matured in the fall or wait till next year, but once you get enough good grass down you can keep doing split apps or one big app and you're good to go!
Thanks buddy
Hey brother! So you don’t use anything on your lawn that needs licensing?! Here in VA, we need a license for a lot to chemicals
No here most products you don't need a license for if it's your own lawn. If I were to do it on other people's lawns then I would.
Newbie here , i have 0.54 acres of lawn approximately 23,606 SQFT. I went to your calculator to get the calculation but i don’t know what type of grass i have . I live in CT. Help please
Most likely a mix of tttf and kbg
Thank you
Grass Daddy - Can I mix prodiamine and Organic Liquid Humic Acid together in one application? TIA
You probably could but humics usually are thicker so I personally would apply separate.
What gloves do you recommend using to handle the chems and to mix?
I use disposable gloves, I think they are nitrile (sp?) gloves. I got a 3 pack at BJ's a while back so they've lasted a long time. I prefer disposable because then you can toss them and not have to worry about cleanup.
Great job dude
Thanks!
Do you think your long application of prodiamine is enough to prevent poa from showing up again in the spring
We will see! I think it does pretty well but my issue is I don't get along the road very well - I think I err on the side of not spraying the roadways more than I should.
I always wear a mask. Good video.
Yes, harder to do these days :-/
Thinking about getting this stuff, my father in law has a horrific dandelion problem, would this work for it?
well it's a combo approach. you have pre-emergent to prevent new weeds from germinating but you still need something to kill the existing weeds.
I used grazonnext hl on mine and was happy with the results
There's always a dilemma. If you put down preemergent, you cannot seed.
In spring, we apply pre emergent but some weeds are going to come up no matter what we do later in the year. So we either pull or spray the weeds, which leaves holes on the lawn. Then we are stuck.
Because if we put down seeds, it cannot germinate. If we don't put down seeds, those holes are going to be there and weed seeds are going to fill in.
What's the difference between the green qualipro wdg prodiamine and the purple wdg prodiamine?
I believe it's just a new label
Do you have granular pre emergent, how would I find it. Can I get it from Lowe's or home Depot
Yup. Step 1 products are granular pre-emergents. The only negative is it's much cheaper to use liquid but the granular is convenient.
Can I apply crabgrass preventer in Early Nov as well as Early Spring?
Yes, although most likely November is late for fall weeds
Pre emergant is the timing of the application not the herbicide. There are some herbicide that are designed as a pre emergant.
Hello. I just bought my second home and the grass wasn’t in good shape so I need to aeration and over seed and fertilize so I was wonder when can I put the pre emergent down? Can I put it down right after I put the grass seed down or do I wait a couple weeks?
So pre-emergent will stop all seeds, grass included, from germinating. There is a product called tenacity (mesotrione) that will prevent many weeds while allowing grass to grow. It's a liquid. There is also Scott's starter with weed preventer which has mesotrione in it. So what you do is use that starter fert to give you some protection and then once the grass has been mown 2-3 times you put the regular pre-emergent down.
Ok cool thanks definitely appreciate the help. I will go get the starter fertilizer. Can I put the the grass seed and fertilizer at the same time?
Bobby Gordon yes you should put the starter fert and seed down at the same time
conneljw ok thanks
Hey bud you have any experience on Poa Annua? Got some in my yard looking for a post emergent can’t seem to find any
Yes I got a video coming on it. You can use tenacity or wait till the summer heat kills it. Pre-emergent in the fall prevents it from coming back.
Grass Daddy thanks a lot I can’t wait for the video
Hey GD, what kind of camera do you use to shoot with on the tripod?
I'm using the Sony Handycam with BOSS! I got tired of the gopro nonsense. This thing has an internal gimbal, as you move the sensor inside moves to take out the shake. It also has 5.1 sound. And get this, it uses the same battery and ac adapter that my old Handycam from 15 years ago uses lol
Will Kentucky bluegrass be able to spread if I put this down?
Yes, KBG spreads through underground rhyzomes and is not effected by the pre-emergent!
Thank you. Love the videos I've watched almost all of them and learning alot.
@@eddieharness2412 awesome!! I'm hoping to get more people into lawn care I really enjoy it
Well done. 👍
Thanks!
I got my free black Milo shirt today!!!!!!!
Awesome! It's a legal requirement to wear it anytime you apply milo or go to home depot =P
So how is this holding up? 8 month app of prodiamine. May try it next spring
Don Land so far so good! Not the backyard though I forgot to put it down lol
Grass Daddy ok. Cool thanks
Can you over seed after putting this down. Or will the grass not germinate
No you can't seed if you put this down. However if you apply a small rate you can seed in the fall.
Ok thank you wanted to double check with you appreciate the info take care.
I use strike3 can i mix this with it at a certain month or do i just use this by itself?? I need advice thank you !
After applying the pre emergent, How long do I need to wait for re seeding before the spring? . Does it kill the crabgrass?
It depends on how much product you applied (i.e. 3, 6, 9 or 12 months app) before you can reseed.
Pre-emergent prevents weeds and grass from germinating. Prodiamine will not kill any weeds but it will prevent. If you apply then you'll have to wait months to seed.
I just ordered Prodiamine from Amazon. Is there another way to measure the amount? I don't have a scale.
Just grab a cheap one, Amazon has them for $10 and I'm pretty sure the one I got was cheaper (Ocean State Job Lot if you happen to be in the RI area)
The product label has suggested measurements in Tablespoons per 1000 on pg 14 of the PDF, but a small jewelry scale would be more accurate. DoMyOwn has all the info on products they sell, and its free to download, that's where I bought my prodiamine. .
What is your calibration with the blue nozzle?
It roughly comes out to 1 gallon for every K, I've done a video on how I calibrate
I wanted to ask if I can tank mix Prodiamine and PBI Gordon SpeedZone Southern(2, 4-D) in a backpack sprayer? I would like to spray a pre/post emergent at the same time of possible to save time and energy. Thanks! 😎
Yes but just wait until the speedzone is rain safe before watering in the prodiamine
@@GrassDaddy Thanks for the speedy reply! I sure appreciate it. Yes the SpeedZone is rain safe in 3 hours. That will be awesome. Thanks. You are a real inspiration in lawn care. I'm 35 this February and enjoying taking care of the lawn. Thanks again.
how much water?
Half an inch, if you aren't sure how long to water to get half an inch, do the tuna can test ;) ua-cam.com/video/XLcaHLhO5HU/v-deo.html
