I can't even begin to imagine how heartbreaking it must be to break your back in two places and lose your unborn child thanks to a Twitch foam pit of all things
Yeah that's what I've been thinking the whole time. If I was in that situation I'd feel pitiful and embarrassed just for how stupid it is. It really shows how weak people can be though that it'd be this devastating. It also makes Charlie a lot more understandable with how he's so scared of his mortality. I mean I was always afraid of suffocating in a deep foam pit but now I have to worry about pa shallow one.
I’ve had too much loss around me in just the last few years, much less the 30ish years I’ve been on this planet. I have PTSD and only sleep a couple hours a night now because all I dream about is losing those I care about in horrific ways. Dreams so vivid I can’t separate dream from reality so I wake up sure that my son is gone or my siblings or mother for a few minutes until things calm down. Or reliving the night I lost my wife like it’s a home movie beings replayed as a perfect copy. The worst of all are the happy ones where I still have her, then I wake up. I also have a back injury like hers, I also had to relearn how to walk. I have chronic pain that requires round them clock medication for the rest of my life and I’m limited in what I can do from the partial paralysis. Humans are fragile and don’t have a lot of time here, some even less than that. Hug your family, call your parents and tell them you love them. Don’t cancel those plans with your friend (or set something up) because I promise l you’ll feel that hole they leave when they are gone.
Honestly I was never a fan of drama in any format and now I've watched the last month of drama on his channel and I've nearly finished 5 seasons of selling sunset, the fucking craziest dramatic reality show and I have no regrets 😂 thanks Charles
Had a cousin try to sneak out of the house and she jumped from the second story into some bushes and landed on her feet which fucked her back all to shit. Took her months to make a decent recovery and years to get back to having a more normal life. Really glad to hear Adriana is making a good recovery. Back pain and injuries are no joke. Take care of yourselves, folks, and always check how deep a foam pit is before you yeet into it
its gotta be truly demoralizing when its this goofy thing you did at a public event, assuming there must be safeguards, and then it fucks you maybe for life. esp when your job depends so much on your physical fitness, like a model.
I hope you realize that only fans was her idea and had nothing to do with her husband. She's still doing it to this day. Yall believe anyone aslong as they look pretty
With the teacher and kids, even if the kids knew the costume was fake (although they CLEARLY didn’t), nothing justifies physically grabbing them and shaking them around. Even as an adult, I value personal space more than anything. I can’t imagine the fear of having someone so much bigger than you grabbing you and throwing you around like it’s nothing.
not only could a young brain believe its an actual monster that comes around to punish them, but the children couldve been harmed with how fragile their bones are and how aggressive it seemed. plus i cant imagine how fucking traumatic that must be to a toddler and i hope parents sue these psychos to pay for their childrens' therapy
Although the incident for Adrianna shouldn’t have happened at all, the doctor doing the stitches did a amazing job with them looking invisible, like it looks nearly invisible. But god- that’s absolutely horrible the entire situation, especially knowing she lost her baby because she had to have back surgery. Honestly, she should sue, absolutely 100% sue, that all shouldn’t have happened to her
@@awesomespoon11 yea she didn’t know she was pregnant. she was informed after she hurt her spine so she had to abort it in order to get the spinal surgery done
By covering the happy endings of stories, or by following up on them at all after their initial shock factor has worn off, you are doing more good than the word "drama" usually implies.
@Goat Absolutely fucking not. I’m not even a massive fan of Charlie (not like - NOT a fan, just a casual viewer) but it’s clear from just quickly skimming over his content that he’s a FAR better and more genuine person than Keemstar could ever hope to be.
I'm so happy that Charlie is talking about these 2 women Adriana and Amouranth like they are *human beings.* In other places online, I only see people making jokes about their jobs as sexworkers/streamers, and showing them no sympathy because of this. Here in penguinz0 comments section, I barely see any of that. This is a nice community.
Yeah, when did it become okay to be so fkn disrespectful? Not to be redundant but what happened to respectfully disagreeing especially when talking about shit that has No correlation?????
The Adriana situation is totally different from amouranth's. I have sympathy for both of them but to different degrees. Yes, amouranth's husband is a pos for threatening her to do stuff but she's now doing the same stuff that she claimed to have been threatened to do so. So what made her break ? The fact that her husband threatened her to do stuff that she "didn't" want to do but doing it anyways now ? Or the fact that he was in control of her money ? White knights may very well label even the thought of hearing his side as "misogynist" but if only you had a brain you'd think this through.
@@Maya-bk4jn 1. What about her money? Shes not gonna tell you specifics about that because its something for legal to handle 2. Its different to choose to do things and be forced to do things. She may have tried more covered up and figured she felt more comfortable in her past outfits. Or she may even have a fear that her viewerbase is gonna leave once she covers up. Insecurities stem from abuse its not a wild thing. 3. Point is shes not gonna be a perfect victim. @@Maya-bk4jn Not saying this is the case but maybe to give a different perspective, but shes doing what she has always done. It could also be that she didn't hate all aspects of what she was being forced to do but despised it because of the forced part. Either way her situation was shit, shes hopefully out of it and getting to do what she wants to do of her own free will.
@@tala9817 I agree with you in some aspects. Doing a thing you like is different from doing the same thing whenever and wherever someone wants you to do on demand. But that's not all of what she claimed. She said that he made her wear all those scanty clothes and even after the whole drama ended and she returned, in her first stream she said, and I quote, "I'm happy that I can wear some dress that I want to" while still wearing the exact same kinda stuff. She even posted straight up porno on her OF a couple of days ago. I'm not questioning the abuse she endured here but the extent of it and the reason why she stayed silent up until now.
I was wondering about Adrianna today and wondering how she's been recovering... I'm SO glad that she was able to stream today! But man... the loss of her baby makes me so sad. I'm so sorry this whole incident happened when it was 100 percent preventable.
@@markovujovic5691 are you seriously blaming her for the company’s criminal negligence? Would you like something to drink with that corporate boot you’re having?
im surprised she's already able to stand so quick, i've had brain surgury a couple of times and i know how hard major surgeries can be, i hope she have a great recovery
Adriana's situation is absolutely horrifying. And whether or not she wanted to keep the baby, that is definitely something she can use as leverage in court against Lenovo/Twitch. Edit: to clarify, yes, I heard that *the surgery* was the reason why she couldn't keep the baby. This means that if she *had not* broken her back, she would *not* have needed to get that surgery, therefore could have made a *CHOICE* about her pregnancy (because getting surgery meant she had to abort, since it's a medically invasive procedure). *She was robbed of that choice* because whomever was responsible for the foam pit (whether that was Lenovo or Twitch) was *negligent* and it resulted in multiple people getting injured.
And you just know our disgraceful court system will try the "she didn't even know she was pregnant until she was at the hospital for back injuries" line. Well maybe, IDK what country she is from but if its US they are going to try to humiliate her.
Right, because she didn't get a choice to choose. She may have kept, may not have. But she didn't even get to make that choice. She should totally sue them for everything they're worth.
God the Adriana story is insane. The fact that she even wanted to go live after dealing with all that is crazy. Strong woman hope she inspires some of her fans
Could you maybe tell me more about her? She's the one with the back issue right? Oof that was such an intense experience too see her scar, can't imagine what happened to her

I can't even imagine the pain this girl is going through.
I fractured 3 vertebrae in my lower back in a bus accident. The pain isnt the main issue it's the sudden change of everything little. I’m really happy that Amouranth got out of the absolutely horrible situation she was in, and that she’s finally able to stream what _she_ wants to stream. Nobody should have to be forced to make millions on something they don’t want to do, especially by someone like their husband.
Abuse victims almost always stay with their abuser, so it's almost certain she's still with him. Especially considering that she has kept everything about her relationship off the internet for YEARS, and there's no reason that would have changed now
@@Caffeine_Addict_2020 except that it’s now out in the open? There’s a chance she is still with him, but I highly doubt it’s ‘almost certain’. Especially since she aired that call on twitch - I imagine many people in her life would actually fear for her well-being and safety if she were anywhere near him after that. After all he threatened her dogs after she didn’t respond to him ‘correctly’ on a phone call.
@@jena5634 It doesn't sound like you understand abusive relationships, then. This is sadly the case with most victims; none of this is any different from a normal abuse case, except it involves a celebrity. I think the statistic is a victim will go back to their abuser 7x before they finally split up. And I can assure you most of the people in that statistic have experienced worse things than "threats against her dogs". Look up the story of Christy Mack
@@Caffeine_Addict_2020 pal, I’m well aware of those stats, but you are just pumping out a massive baseless assumption and acting like anyone who won’t agree with it is wrong - you’ve commented this multiple times at people. We do not have evidence she’s still with him, and there’s no point assuming that unless it’s out of concern/a desire to see her get help. Abuse isn’t a competition. People do not need to reach a certain level of abuse to warrant concern from others, nor does everyone tolerate the same level of abuse before reacting. She has spoken out, which is a brilliant first step. Stop minimising that
@@jena5634 Alright relax there, bud. I don't get how you're both agreeing that most abuse victims stay with their abuser, and that we don't know anything about her relationship, but still coming to the conclusion that I'm wrong in saying that she's probably still with him. "Abuse isn’t a competition" - well this is largely off base, and seemingly a malicious misreading of my comment in order to get a "stop minimizing" tag line: you stated "I imagine many people in her life would actually fear for her well-being ... After all he threatened her dogs" - there are always signs of abuse and most of the time it's alot worse then threatening dogs. But the abuse victim is generally able to explain it away. I don't get why you're so insistent that there's no way she's with her husband, it's the most likely assumption based on all the information we know. And it's dangerous to approach abusive relationships with the amount of candor you've shown here
Imagine losing a baby due to a surgery caused by an accident because of terrible management. That's heartbreaking. She seems heartbroken yet a strong hearted, positive woman despite everything she's been through. God bless her really.

I was familiar with most of these stories, but the one about the teacher is news. I work as a haunted house actor, and this issue is close to my heart because despite a strong 13+ advisory on the event where I work, many people bring their small children. Some love it and I am happy to entertain and interact with them, but some clearly don't. I can't count how many times I broke character this October to stop and stoop to a small child and explain make-believe to them, and while everything was scary it was just meant to be entertaining -- that I was just an actor in make up and costume and that I would never hurt or even touch them. And I'd tell them the chainsaws some actors use were just really realistic toys, kind of like some of the toys they have at home. I'd give them funny things to say to the actors that scared them the most, and I watched a good majority of them walk off with so much more bravado than they had. I like to think I at least saved some of them from having bad dreams. In fact, actors in haunted houses are never allowed to deliberately touch or grab you. Any place that does that will have you sign a waiver, first, and you have to be over 18 to sign that sort of thing. These were children. They were in the care of a teacher, a trusted figure, in a school -- a place meant to feel safe. This sort of thing damages and traumatizes children so much when at they are one of THE most impressionable ages. Coming from someone for whom Halloween and scaring is a deep passion, that woman deserves every charge she gets.
As scare actors we have this untold rule of "if they look younger than a teenager, go soft. If they cry, lead the family out of the haunt". This is meant to be a fun and thrilling experience for everyone to enjoy. The Teacher seems like she did it just to terrorize the kids, to physically touch and target them I'd say based on what is said about the event, it definitely counts as Child Abuse.
This Halloween when I was trick-or-treating there were a couple small kids in the group and we stopped by a house with a fog machine and a bunch of animatronic zombies and clowns and tombstones and fake limbs hanging from trees, fortunately we were able to convince them that none of it was real and they even got extra candy for it
I worked at a school haunted house this year on sound and I remember that we’d have a kid friendly option without sound effects and stuff, I also heard about stories from past years where people brought 2-3 year olds and I just thought why would you do that? Why would you take a kid so young to something that is supposed to be scary? Or a kid who just gets scared easily, really. Sorry for my little ramble, I’m very sleep deprived and don’t know how to put my words together :P
It’s crazy has we went from “she will probably never walk again her life is ruined” to her standing and saying she’ll continue to model. She should still sue though. Especially since it lead to her pregnancy ending.
Okay but Adriana’s recovery is insane! I was so expecting the clip of her recent stream to show her in a chair just doing small calm things but she is standing up??? And is even dressed up so cute for Halloween like I just can’t believe
She probably can only stand or lie down right now, i shattered my entire pelvis and couldn’t sit without excruciating pain and discomfort, and I didn’t know the bone was broken until it was too late, so i WAS sitting on it. It’s probably also why she was so easily winded because shes exerting the effort to stand, but her recovery is still phenomenal to say the least.
My dog a few years back snapped the ligaments of both of her back legs, after the surgery we were told she might never recover fully. 2 years and 3 phisiotherapy sessions later and she can jump and stand on her hind legs! Determination can do wonders
First time hearing about the husky. My heart broke. The poor baby probably belonged to a family. If that happened to my dog, I don't think I would be ever able to recover from that. This is awful.
It is heartbreaking. I have a husky and they are just so freaking awesome. Never a dull moment, just full of joyous yelps and roo roo's. How the F does anyone mix up a wolf and a husky though?. They literally look nothing alike. And she's supposed to be a hunter, what a degenerate.
I personally will never understand the appeal of skinning an animal you shot to death and taking a goddamn photo of it to share with the world like you won a lottery check. Seems so cruel and disrespectful to the animal to me. Either way my heart sank when I heard that husky one. They are such good dogs and there is almost no way to not notice the difference between that and a wolf. You think she would've at least noticed by the time she went to skin it if she knew anything about the species she was trying to hunt and stop at that. Must have thought everyone was as dumb as her.
Honestly when the courts see how excited she was to kill a puppy, it’s gonna go down hill fast and she gonna get what she deserves. Killing a puppy in America is basically killing my someone’s baby. Imagine traumatizing children and physically shaking them while screaming in their face And then people are going "Noooo that's too mean!!" at the felony charges Like the kids aren't going to have serious nightmares from this, even possible bedwetting problems.
I think what they did was wrong and they absolutely should have been fired. But to be quite honest when I was like 7 I did the same extent thing to my little brother and it certainly didn't traumatize him in any significant way. My heart doesn't break for the adults or anything but I can't deny its rather ridiculous that we live in a country where you can rob a Walgreens and you won't even get arrested for it but if you scare a kid with a Halloween mask you're gonna do 5-10 years due to felony charges. Shit is wild.
Im not gonna lie youd have to be the most mental kid to get any issues from this. Even if i was somehow stupid enough to fall for a plastic mask like i havent figured lut what a costume is yet. Id just go home and be angry af when i realised they tricked me. And then i would probably forget it because you rember fuck all from when you were 4
Just because your brother wasn’t traumatized doesn’t mean these kids aren’t traumatized.. you know everyone is different right? and you’re lucky your brother didn’t have issues from that.
*even* possible bed wetting isn’t the worst outcome… weird way to form that sentence. these kids will suffer PTSD, they’ll (potentially) be terrified of school, their image of caretakers completely shifted. this stuff causes lifelong mental issues and shit. so yah do agree the abuse charges are well within their rights but it should be noted bed wetting and a few nightmares are probably the best case scenario besides the kids not caring
I messed up my back once, and had to take a week sick leave. Never looked it up, so I don't know what it was. I had to crawl from bed to the bathroom, could barely stand or sit. 2 years later, if I stood or walked for too long, my left leg would just go weak and limp. 5 years later, it's pretty much unnoticeable, but I still can feel it from time to time. The worst part about the scaring the kids video is that it's going to be very severe psychological damage. My mom did an oopsie and took me into a haunted house when i was like 8 and i was terrified until i was like 15
When I was very young, I remember going to church and they played a video about a horribly burnt woman talking about her experience, her face haunted me for years, it was scarier than most of the horror film characters I saw, mainly because her face was real.

Wow, to find out your pregnant in that situation and then have to lose it to surgery, wether she wanted it or not, that’s awful. Hopefully she sues every company involved
Hearing these stories involving teachers/day care providers really does boil the blood a bit. We live in a hell scape where shit happens all the time, the last thing we need is children being abused/hurt by people who are supposedly "in charge of their safety." I'm not a parent and I don't plan to be but I swear if my kid ever comes home and tells me they was violently shaken and threatened by a teacher, I'd fucking plow my way to the school and get right up in the teacher's face and threaten to sue them into oblivion.
Those kids will never remember that day so no they dont deserve FELONY charges that bs. Yeah they need to be fired, im not a parent either but that doesnt mean my opinion counts any less.
I don’t know why more teachers don’t get beat up. I don’t want it to happen, but the ones pulling such stupid, violent shit are inviting that kind of retribution. When daycare workers LOCK babies into the daycare because they “forgot she was there”. It’s incredible to me. And that’s not even hands on.
@@feliciafrench9765 no most if not all of them are way to young to remember so no but hey ask them in 10yrs see whos right. Twitch should pay for all her medical bills, all her lost revenue, and punitive damages for such a blatantly negligent action. Its disgusting how little accountability most corporations have when people get maimed.
I feel her pain. I had 3 surgeries in my lower back, L4-L5 disks are gone and fused, 4 screws etc at 27 years old. It changed my life for the worst, even basic things like showering is a struggle. Im very happy that she has a huge gathering of people to support her because it's awful
For the child daycare, i had a haunted house at school, teachers helped :draw, paint, build and set up smoke machines and lighting. They were disguised but not allowed to be seen inside the gymnasium where it was held for that reason.
As a owner of 3 huskies that story absolutely crushed my soul.... I hope shes never allowed to own a gun again after this.... Im so glad this is the first Im hearing of this and didnt stumble across the video.
That children scaring thing is so real, though. When I was like 6, my step-dad, around Halloween, came into the bathroom while I was brushing my teeth. He was wearing a wolf mask and crawled on the ground and growled. Nothing else, full t-shirt and shorts and everything, just the mask. I was so scared I started kicking him in the face and screaming. Not once for like 30 seconds until he pulled it off did I think it was anything but a monster. Those poor kids must've been terrified.

@@Caffeine_Addict_2020 except that it’s now out in the open?
There’s a chance she is still with him, but I highly doubt it’s ‘almost certain’.
And I can assure you most of the people in that statistic have experienced worse things than "threats against her dogs". Look up the story of Christy Mack

What a champ this man is, making Halloween a good time
As scare actors we have this untold rule of "if they look younger than a teenager, go soft.
I was a door greater at my haunt, if kids looked distressed walking up to the door; i turned them away immediately

And then people are going "Noooo that's too mean!!" at the felony charges
Like the kids aren't going to have serious nightmares from this, even possible bedwetting problems.
those are probably the same people who think emotional abuse isnt real
Take care of your backs, kids.
