Back in the 80s there were a bunch of therapists peddling this thing called rebirthing as a cure for all sorts of psychological problems. They would charge hundreds of dollars per hour to wrap their clients in a blanket, sit on them and tell them to fight their way out of the blanket because that somehow mimics the birthing process. It was all the rage until a young girl died of suffocation because she had multiple grown ass adults smothering her in a blanket and screaming at her to fight her way out. @@decas5505no the idea is to channel your emotions into appropriate activities like, for example, exercising, journaling, going out into the woods and screaming, etc. That way you learn to work through tough emotions rather than bottling them up inside until they burst.
