In part two of my recent everglades trip, I took out my Gheenoe on a freshwater canal targeting highly invasive fish like Cichlids and Oscars. Additionally I ran into a very nice old man, and a few gators. Enjoy!

What are the fish called that you are keeping and are they good eating

Those are called Mayan Cichlids and they are great eating! They’re native to Central America but you can find them in almost any body of fresh water in south Florida
