@@nickwilliams5163 Oh man that is awesome. We are having not so great weather here - had my Cayman S out for only a little bit once temps were over 32 - amazing cars. The GTS has to be amazing.
Thanks for all the videos, really helped my search for the right headers. Eventually went with the catless fabspeed ones. Preferred the sound of this equal length setup, is completely ridiculous. Video is on my account if you are curious. Cheers!
So awesome. I have a 981 Boxster GTS 6spd and absolutely love it. The sound is incredible. Where is this? I'm up in Washington but looking for other great roads around the country to go drive!
@@TekGeekHD this is about 45 minutes outside of Phoenix, AZ near a little town called Tortilla Flat. As a Washington native I do really miss driving those roads through the evergreens! Let me know if you ever make it down here, always looking for more Porsches to cruise with.
These 981 cars are the best. Nice job with the audio recording, sounds very accurate. How do you like the aFe dry filters and did you notice any increase in induction noise?
Thank you! I do really like these filters. Pretty easy to clean since no oil is needed. There was a noticeable increase in induction noise and also noticed by my friend who has a 981S with stock filters. The GTS does have the sound symposer so in cabin induction noise is is a bit louder even without aftermarket filters.
Very cool. I am approaching 40K mileage on my 22' 718 GT4 PDK car. I am hoping to keep it until around 150K miles, since I have done quite a bit to it (MCS 2-way dampers, APEX wheels, & Kline Inconel exhaust) Praying the PDK and motor stay strong the whole way. I plan on doing a tune after the warranty is up. My only concern is the PCCB rotors. I do not track, but don't baby it on the street. I change the pads out at 50% life to keep too much heat out of the rotors and my pad usage is mild, so I am probably good.
Beautiful scenery, amazing car.
Nice ride, video ! I have a white one with 35000. Love my car!
Superb video. Picked up a 981 Boxster GTS a couple of months ago. The sound is intoxicating!
Thank you and congrats! Can’t really beat the sound for this price point.
How much did you pay?
@@laxman90210 ~$60k but you can buy an 981S in the$40k range and get this same sound
It does sound amazing! I am getting a 2015 Cayman S delivered on Monday. It is PDK - excited to get it. Have always had 911's.
Awesome, Merry Christmas! Just picked up a '16 GTS and loving it. Still have my 996, too.
