Do numbers on the 900 differ for a pull tab and a coin? Currently I have an Excalibur two which I bought for a very cheap price of $500.00.. I’m looking to purchase the 900 next as I would like to read the numbers on the meter to determine what target I’m looking at. Thanks!😊
I find on my 900 that pull tabs ring up around 23/24, nickels 25/26 and ring pulls 30s and low 40s (depends on it having the beaver tail or not and whether the tail is bent to the inside of the ring or not. If only the beaver tail, it can ring up 24ish

Yes once u learn the machine and the vdi numbers and sounds. You will be able to tell a difference between pull tab and coins

I am right now learning my 900. I also have a 600. Don’t you feel you can notch out the VDI numbers 1 through 10?
Yea but I never notch anything out haha. I like hearing all the tones
