Hi Jessie, thankyou so much. The dessert was very complex and well done you could tell they really wanted you to enjoy how much effort they put into the menu.
Hi Alice! It was great atmosphere but I agree the sandwhiches were not as great as other experiences. It was definitely more for the sweet tooth afternoon tea-er. Hope you’re well!
Thats the traditional afternoon tea i have been looking for a while..i have been to afew that where missing what i like most in afternoon tea ..i was told to go to the Ritz and it was beautiful and luxurious and i Will go again but had a great Gatsby feel to It instead of a traditional but elegant feel to it..and thats the traditional and Classic theme with floral china and traditional foods..i have been to several that are far to modern ,fashion or art themed or modern lighting or in "Airport" looking hotels wich all lack the warmth and Joy of a traditional British afternoon tea. I Will visit the Langham hotel next time in London wich i really hope It Will be soon.
You could not be more correct on the classical them. I would also suggest visiting the Lanesborough hotel for afternoon tea which has a similar very traditional set up. Also the architecture is classical French which is breathtaking in spring on a sunny day. The Langham was very enjoying also and I found the placement of tables quite charming. Modern is a great interpretation and keeps chefs and food enthusiasts interested but it has its place. Thanks for tuning in!
Thank you for your vid! Just got done watching 5 star chef which is focused at this hotel. Thank you for explaining the fine china...My first thought was it was the Prince Philip rose design.
Hi Lauran, Very valid question, so the tea total came out to be a little more than the typical rate because my friend had sparkling tea and I had champagne but generally with no frills the total would be £60 per head. Hope that helps.
@@nikitaamerie It does, thank you. Trying to decide between this and Claridges (sp?). My daughter would love the Alice-in-Wonderland themed one; however, I've heard very mixed reviews.
I was considering a visit to claridges! I think your daughter will enjoy it. This tea is more traditional so depends what they have on their menu at claridges and whether you want experimental or traditional.
Hi there, I have never been to the ritz during Christmas time however I have had an afternoon tea experiences there and they had one of the best sandwiches I’ve had at an afternoon tea.
Can't stand those cheap girls having to set their branded bag on the table for those who haven't seen it to see it, it's outdated babe, only look unmannered in here, just saying!
@@nikitaamerieI know you’re not supposed to put your handbag on the table unless its a small clutch or something, but I thought you’re red bag was pretty with the beautiful floral vase! Most women love their handbags and want to show them off like beautiful jewelry. So....I actually bought a gorgeous lil handbag a tiny bit bigger than yours, its a knockoff of probably a copy of a fancy one, but it has a dominant red swatch of color with some large plaid pattern towards the bottom. It has a brass faux lock on one side. I have had many compliments on it. It kinda reminded me of yours. So yeah sometimes we forget and put our bags on the table, but if they are pretty heck lets enjoy them. If there is no spare chair to put them on its tough, back of chair is no no and the floor sometimes is dirty.
Beautiful Christmas Tea
Excellent as always I like how beautiful the desert's look what a luxurious treat and beautiful ambiance to have afternoon tea. ❤️ Thanks for sharing

What a great setting for afternoon tea. Unusual sandwiches but looked tasty.

Thankyou! Indeed it looks like it could have been.
I have stayed at this hotel- it’s wonderful,as a World traveler , I can honestly say ,the service is most wonderful.
Great first time experience couldn’t of asked for better company!
I loved it so much, creative good memories together!
Great vlog and review- thank you! How much did you pay for the tea?

Have you been to the ritz for christmas afternoon tea? Just wondering how they compare?

This comment sounds a little classist don’t you think?
Maybe the bag manufacturers sponsored the Tea 🫖.
