The White in Between

A song about the tricolour, the Irish Flag. The flag was brought from France to Ireland by Thomas Francis Meagher in 1848 and flew for eight days in Waterford before being taken down by the British. The flag was later adopted as the Irish national flag. Meagher saw the white in between between the orange and the green as a promise of peace, and a hope for Irish independence.
