I would absolutely love it if you did a video on your swag bag. And I would like to add my opinion on how people could possibly think you’re bragging when speaking about any part of your retreat. I absolutely have the tendency of finding a channel I like - watching all videos that pop out to me, and then treat their channel like a collection to complete where I go through their stuff chronologically and watch everything I have yet to see 😂
Jenny Nicholson was a favorite of mine from a good few years back, but after her last video (previous to the start wars hotel one) I had lost track and forgotten her channel. So when you mentioned her channel i your WIP and Chat I jumped and went right on over! ✨️

Our Kids don't get out of school around here until the third week of June (Syracuse, NY) so don't feel like you're the last to the party. It was a pleasant surprise to see a Wip-and-Chat from you, as I thought you would be too exhausted from your retreat. I would love to see a video on the swag bag! 🥝

🍒🍓🍇The retreat sounded like fun. You guys are like rock stars to me. It would be fun to see you all in person. This community starts to feel like family after a while. I would love to see all the goodies in the swag bag!! I’m finishing up Rocket Fuel from DAC today so I can finally start The Swing for SWTM. It’s my first event ever. I love the idea of working on classic pieces of art. Of course, the confetti will kill me, but that’s ok. Have a great week!

I would love to see the swag bag. Sounds like Christmas morning to me! Honestly it is similar to a small shop haul and would probably really benefit the donor sponsors. Sounds like an amazing retreat and you got to experience some of our lovely Texas weather as a bonus 🤣. 🍇🍑🍓

I would love to see an unboxing 😍 We don't have any kind of retreats ect in Ireland so I love hearing about it. I also go down a rabbit hole of finding a new creator and watching all there videos. I have recently joined your patron so I have started at the very start of your vlogs 🤭 I love how real and casual they are ❤️
Love hearing about the retreat. It’s always a good time. We have a group of friends here in Colorado and we do a mini retreat once a month. We move it around from house to house and we eat, craft, solve the world’s problems, and LAUGH!!! It’s a wonderful experience painting with a group of friends. ❤❤❤ 🍒🍒🍉🍑

Thanks for the updates! I noticed this video was late and I was like "Yay, she's taking time off to recover!" :D So good for you for doing that! 🥝 Also, if you've never seen Babylon 5, you might like it. It's kind of the same type of show as DS9, but done differently. There's debates on which is better, but I like both for different reasons.
Also... SWAG VIDEO!!! Please. :D I like looking at cool swag unboxing.
Oh, and you might also like the movie "Miss Hokusai" if you liked doing the Great Wave. It's about Hokusai's daughter, O-I and her relationship with her family, art, and life in Edo.

Cucumber is actually botanically considered a fruit. 🥒 My boys never liked traditional sports so summer activities were hard to find. We are in Canada, but one loved golf (I cringe, find it so boring) and the other archery 🏹. Ya never know what they will gravitate to. Thanks for the wip n chat. Retreat sounded awesome!

I had a dull weekend and just hearing about your retreat made me happier and excited to eventually participate in one. Also when i was in school i wouldnt get out of school until the first or second week of june and i would go back mid to late august. I feel like it very much depends on the state. I now reside in southern arizona and they start school late july to early august and end early may im pretty sure due to weather because from the start of this week and on it is 100°+. I used to live in California and i feel like your kids school year aligned with mine. Thank you for the chat looking forward to the next one 😊😊 🍉🍒🥝

🥥 I'm so glad the weather held off for you guys at the retreat! The weather here in TX has been crazy with all the storms! I would love to see the Swag bag! I'm always interested in seeing the latest and greatest things in the DP world!!! I did think if you the other day when I saw an AD for the tv show Tracker with Justin Hadley. Jensen Ackles was guest appearing and they were throwing in a bit of Supernatural lines in the show. 😂 you should check it out!

I don’t think I’m talented enough to do my own enhancements, but I did purchase enhancement kits for DAC Arctic Fox and DAC Blue Winter Wolf and love the way they both turned out. I love hearing about the retreat and I hope you do a video of the swag bag contents. I’m a little jealous you were able to meet Shay, Cara and Alyssa in person! Love listening to all of you!🍉🍒🍑

Loving your comparison projects and your natural nails😃 I’m so glad that the retreat was such a great experience and success for you guys. My brain doesn’t have the capability to pick out my own enhancements. I have bought a small set to do from DP with Sparklers for Artic Fox. I plan on doing it in the month of June. I just like to plug along and escape. Boozy drills🤣 I am living vicariously through you and would love to see the swag bags and everything else you want to share!❤I appreciate all the work you put into your channel and us. It truly is amazing for us to reap the benefits. I’m rereading all the Julia Quinn books before the show Bridgerton series came out and waiting for the second half of season 3. 🍇🍌🍓

I feel for you, the weather in Texas in late spring (and summer…and part of autumn) is not fun. I was born and raised in California and now live in Texas (Dallas - Fort Worth area) and the things I miss about California the most are the weather and the ocean…and the theme parks and the food. I like a lot of things about Texas, but I’m a California girl at heart. Also, I don’t do so well in hot, humid weather so I barely go outdoors here from May to early October.
Coincidentally, I am currently working on The Great Wave off Kanagawa. Mine is also a Diamond Dotz kit, but it’s the full, square drills version. Well, I say full, and for the most part it is, it’s just the little bits that have the title of the artwork in kanji and the artist’s signature that won’t get drills. 🍉

I love seeing what other people find at other small shops in the diamond painting community to give me an idea of what shops are out there offering what new ideas, so I would love to see a swag bag unboxing! Katie, so glad you had a great time at the the retreat. You asked what we were watching.. I saw the new documentary about the Blue Angels, the Navy's flight demonstration squad . It is no longer at theaters but it is now on Amazon Prime. I believe you mentioned that one of your sons loves mechanical things - both boys would probably love this movie. It has a lot of cool jet action in it. The cockpit images are pretty incredible. And Adam might want to run the rabbit hole on UA-cam about how they actually got the aerial footage. I wish more people knew about this movie. every one should see it.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I didn't know about this documentary at all. Ages ago, when my Dad was in the Navy, we lived on the base where the Blue Angles flew out of. We could often see them practicing, and we would occasionally hear sonic booms that would rattle all the windows in the house. My 10-year-old self thought that was absolutely the coolest thing ever. Going to air shows with my family were such happy times. I'm calling my Dad and my brother immediately to let them know. You have no idea how absolutely giddy I am. Thank you again. ❤

Lately which is reading scary stories took me think a yr or almost a yr to listen to again after my late husband passing in Dec 2021, my first daughter’s father.
Just had my 2nd daughter in feb 28, 2024 with fiancée that has 3 kids with his late wife.
You had me laughing with the boozey drills comments and am glad you meantions that about diamond dotz. I received a kit that I do not need to kit up but did notice that the drills do have static. I am glad you talked about the retreat. I was hoping you would. Retreats are not something I could do and with all you have to travel with I am too much of a clutz to do it. I enjoy your videos. I was watching your multiplacing closely and believe I am going to invest in the thin metal multiplacer.

My kids go til the 12th. It’s Wisconsin tourism law to not start school til after Labor Day so we go late.

Hello Katie🍒 This was my first WIP and CHAT to watch and I really enjoyed hearing about your retreat. Maybe there will be one in Alabama. You would absolutely love the humidity here 🥵. I am pretty new to Diamond painting and absolutely love it. I haven’t figured out the multiplacer but you make it look so easy. Right now I am working on my first DP from Oraloa. I have finished a couple from DAC. I look forward to hearing about your retreat goody bag and more of your videos😃 BTW..what does WIP mean?

Hi, I'm brand new to DP and love your channel. I enjoy the Whip and chats while I'm working on my own project. Since I am so new, I need a little more clarification please. What is this Masters event you talk about? Can you give a little more detail on it please? When you kit a new project, do you have new containers that you use each time? What do you do with the drills that are left over when you finish? I'm so glad you were able to get away for your retreat. They are always fun. Thanks for all you do. Take care.
