Thanks for the seam ripper idea! For those of us that can't afford an adjustable table, bed risers can be used on table legs to adjust the height of the table. They're usually pretty affordable and easy to find. I use them on my table and have an adjustable height chair and have found that set up to be comfortable for me.
My current favorite storage system is the little round bottles. For stickers, I go through a multi-step process that’s a bit more time consuming but it works for me. First I use my printer’s scan function to scan the sticker sheet. Then I use Canva to crop and enlarge just the column of symbols, and print as many copies as I need into 8 1/2 x 11 (or A4) full sheet stickers. Then I cut them apart and stick them on the tops of the bottles. If I’m kitting up more than one kit at a time, I print stickers with a three letter code for that canvas and stick those labels on the bottom or side of the bottle. That way if a bottle gets separated from its kit, I know which kit it goes to. For example some of the codes I’ve used are “RAF” for a giraffe dp, SUN For a DAC kit called To The Sunny Sea, etc.
The Elizabeth Ward style containers are my favourite for kitting up, also use the larger tic tacs as well. I have a great led light that my hubby attached onto my tilted tray, I use the lightpad just to place my canvas on with a foam roller stuck at top of it to drap canvas over. Loved this series! 😊
I lost everything I had about a year and a half ago so I'm just getting back into diamond painting starting from scratch. Thank you for making these videos so I can refresh my memory and make a list of things I need to start again. You got a subscriber in me! ❤❤❤❤
The seam ripper! Great tip! Thank you! The Harbor Freight storage was my first official storage and for the price a great option. I use one of them to store extra placer tips. I just got in the EW system this week and soon will be kitting up a new project (77 colors!) I’m excited! Thank you for doing these videos. They have been helpful and I’m looking forward to the next “episode” 😊
Loved this video, i enjoy seeing what people have 🥰 the big tic tac style bottles are my absolute favourite (even over EW!), but I've been eyeing up the 1inch cubes for a while, now I'm off to hit buy 😂 the accessory addiction is worse than the actual DP addiction 🤦🏼♀️🥴😅
Snap!! Before I heard of release paper or even parchment paper, I used the cover paper that was used at the time. Now I can't do without the release paper
Hi Daphne! I do have a question for you do you sell your release papers? I’ve been looking to buy some. Craftsman with Crashley is the only one I’ve bought so far. Thank You for the video.
To label my containers, I use masking tape and a pen. I do diamond painting as a hobby and do maybe 1/3 a year depending on how big they are, how much time I have, and how expensive they are. Plus, I tend not to get one unless I know where I'm going to do with it or where I'm going to display it. I have a resin pen with multiple tips, cover minders, and a weight to put onto the side of my paining I'm not doing, so It doesn't slide around when I'm doing it, Or when the cat jumps up.
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymousI just started my first painting. I use painter’s tape on my Dollar Tree containers. I’m watching your videos to see what I need as I keep doing them.
Hi Daphne...I love watching your channel! I'm interested in the pretty diff. colored diamonds release paper you have on your desk in this video. Did you make that? If so, do you sell it? If so, I would LOVE to buy some! I haven't seen that one anywhere! else...
Hi, I'm curious as to where to find the blank release papers you have in the video? I saw the amazon link in the description, but those seem to be really thin, and I love the thickness of the ones you have!
@@aflo5411 I got mine from Amazon, but there are a bunch of different places that sell them (even on Amazon), so I would just do a search until you find some ones that you like. Thanks for watching!!
I use a headlamp that uses rechargeable batteries. I tried using a light pad but didn't find it bright enough as the symbols on some kits are not as legible as others.
It is amazing how one hobby turns into several hobbies and collections
It is! Thanks for watching!!

Great idea! I'm short, so finding tables & chairs that feel comfortable can be a challenge. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for all the input of this amazing hobby.
I just started in November and been enjoying it on my Semi after a very long rough day of driving. ❤❤

I have the round containers and I just bought the tic-tac ones recently. I used to have the square pill-storage ones.
Another good place you can get lots of supplies for cheap is Temu!
Thanks for sharing😊

Thank you for part 2! I've been doing mine on a coffee table. I'm old this isn't going to work. So I ordered a drafting table. I hope it works!

The stainless tips made all the difference in ease of placement. I prefer Elizabeth Ward storage tray to stop my clumsiness 😊and tendency to spill.

Those are actually a set I bought on Amazon - just search for decorative release papers. There are a ton of options.
I love making my own bread 🍞

The use of the seam reaper was probably one of the best tips I got for DP. That and the use of glue dots for the single placers. 😊

Can you talk more about your cutting machine?
I can, but is there something specific you want to know?
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous yes. How do you make your own stickers and how did you cut your dividers for your spares?
