Thanks for watching, and for the kind words. The Moody Blues are one of my "soundtrack of my life" bands, so I've actually been planning videos to their songs in my head years before I started actually making them. This song has always been a favorite.
To say the Moody Blue's told another series of deep truths of life and wrapping into such beautiful music and vocalization, how can anyone not get this message of perfection. I've been a serious fan since I first heard them at around 18 years of age. I am now 72, and so easy to go back over all of the wonderful memories, following the band, and rejoicing in all of my experiences.
This my favourite John Lodge song. Totally timeless and 50 years later still so pertinent. For me, musically it's on a par with Nights in White Satin with each band member making a powerful contribution. Amazing harmonies and an amazing message. Thank you John Lodge and the Moody Blues.
I don´t know why but when I was sitting here in my room (january 4th 2023) I remembered this song from my youth and had to google it and it took me here....something new is happening in the world...✨✨❤❤
A haunting song which for decades has made me think and wonder what the world was, what is could have been, what the world is now, and what the world will become.
@@williambarry8015 Mine is the perspective based on what I have seen and experienced 54 years around the world and the increased growth of lies and deception. This song simply tallies the known and unknown of the past, present and future. Hope exists only through faith in the LORD God Almighty and the Son, Jesus Christ.
Now more than ever. Countless thanks to John Lodge and the rest of the Moodies. God keep all of them. Thank you, Visualize Prog, for this most excellent video set to one of most profound songs ever composed and recorded. I never left this tune back in the early 1970s.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Walter. This has been an all -time favorite song of mine since I first heard it. I started to think about what a music video for it would look like, and had certain pictures in my mind just from listening to it over the years. So it was something of a long overdue labor of love cutting this video together.
They should play this song and video in all the UN assemblies, Moddy blues ahead in most of the ideas to save the world, the message was always available for all the people.

After all these years of listening to this amazing piece. I couldnt imagine anyone visualising any better than what i was getting out of these lyrics until your Video. Youve given this masterpiece a fantastic look. Very moving. Thankyou so much for sharing
Thank you much for your kind words. Years before I had this channel or was making videos, I used to imagine what videos for some of my favorite songs might look like if one was made. So this and a few of the other Moody Blues videos here were several years in the making (in my mind) before cutting it all together into an actual video I could share with others.
I have worked in Video Production and the Film business for years ,,,, GREAT JOB guys! ESPECIALLY to one the Moodies "heavenly look into Our future songs" ... "One More Time to Live" is a Relavent Message to ALL of Us right now!
Thanks so much! That's a great compliment coming a pro. This is basically a hobbyist operation with just an old Windows 8 movie maker and a deep love for this music. The creativity in the music inspires the visual creativity.

The songs an old favorite of mine, but the video is very new, put together just a couple of weeks ago. Hoping to spread the word about it among Moody Blues fans.
It’s so good to hear these older songs ! So much consideration within the lyrical content, and coupled by the gentle genius of the melodies they really make me want to hear more ! ( the building pace is genius, so beautifully twinned with your visual understanding is Superb) 👌🏼♥️🌹
Thanks once again for your kind comments & I'm happy that you're enjoying the videos. More Moody Blues songs are in the planning stages, as well as songs from some other fine artists.
"Every Good Boy" is an album that has stuck with me over the decades, and this song for me has always been a favorite and has never lost any of it's power or meaning.
One of my favorite songs of all time. For several years I had sort of a basic idea in my head of what a video for this one might look like. John Lodge writers some very "visual" songs in my mind.
Thank you, Visualize Prog. John Lodge's best song, in my opinion, and quite deep, progressive, and ultimately hopeful. Your video captured the essence of each line, and I thank you very much! "And he who wants to fight begins the end of time."
Thanks so much for watching and your supportive words. This song has been a favorite since the first time I heard it, which for me was around 1980-'81 when I first discovered The Moody Blues in a huge way, immersing myself in their whole catalog. I had an idea in my head of what a video for this song might look like if one were ever made, so this one was sort of a passion project and self-challenge.
Thank you, Sir! This channel only debuted about 5 months ago, and this particular video has been the most popular one we've done thus far in terms of views & likes. If you're a Moody Blues fan there are several more of their songs on the channel, too. Thanks again for commenting.
This was the 1st Moody Blues album I owned. After I put a "few odd hundred revolutions" on it I replaced it with another copy. That one had the lyrics on the inner sleeve but it didn't open up so I switched covers and donated it (the older one ) to the local library, back in the 80's. I tried to do the same with my Sean Phillips album "Second Contribution" ,but goofed up and donated the newer replacement ,whoops.

I always thought John Lodge song-writing got better and better.Justin was always the best and i thought Ray Thomas was next to him but as time went by John moved up and up and Ray slowed a bit.I loved Mike too but he didnt stick around.
I think John may actually be my favorite writer, simply because if I were to make a top 10 list I think a few of John songs might hold the top few spots - including this song. But to me, picking a fave writer from this band is almost pointless. They were all excellent at what they did and each had their shining spotlight moments...Thanks for watching, and thanks for you comments.

I love this song.

I saw them in concert in 1971?, It felt like I had been transported to Heaven, or what has been described as heaven, just bliss, joy

Magnificent marriage of visuals with the Moody's beautiful music and poetry
Glad you enjoyed it
Best thing musically that happened to me....the.music I always wanted to hear , and I found it in 1968
Turn the earth to sand and yet commit no crime...... and these words come from the late seventies..... we have lost three of this fantastic band now.
Sadly, the two 'Blue Jays' are the only ones left. The music will live on...
Another gem from the greatest band ever 😍😍😍!
