I use 7 parts grain alcohol to 4 parts distilled water. I mix the herb in to absorb into the liquid for at least 3 weeks. It should be shaken every day until you are ready to use it. It is called maceration. Strain it into a brown bottle and keep out of sunlight. Apply as needed.
