Hello Eric have a question For you I have a dodge charger that I am running the speakers in the front as separates and the rear as co-axle I am running the optical set up what output configuration should I be using?
Eazy Rida I would first bring up the pioneer to 3/4 volume and then set the input sensitivity of the TwK using the sine wave test tones. Then set the TwK outputs to +12 and set amp gains. Then lower any amp gains for proper system balance. If gains are all the way down on certain channels and you need their level lower, go into the TwK and lower outputs from +12.
hey how can i fix this problem? on level trim i see you hace 0 db mine a set it om -12 db cuz it makes a ssssssssssss noise. i cant fix it i set the imput leve on 1v 2v 7v and its the same. and before i installed it there wasnt any noise
Frustratingly just replaced my twk with a helix DSP due to the severe limitations on EQ with the twk, just not enough to get a proper SQ tune, such a shame because I really like the product and software.
I would like to see how if possible to set my fix 86 to different equalizer levels. How can I do this. I really need help. I do have the drc 200 also. I hear I can do 5 presets maybe 7. Is this all possible?

I need to take my 2 speaker level inputs (FR and FL) and turn them into several more RCA channels. 1. Will the TWK take my *only 2* speaker level inputs and create additional RCA channels I can send to an aftermarket amplifier? 2. Will the Fix86 also be capable of taking 2 speaker level inputs and expanding them into more RCA channels I can send to an aftermarket amplifier? 3. I understand that the Fix86 main purpose is to flatten an equalized signal and remove any processing, but it looks like it has equalization settings like the TWK ... If they both have software equalizers what are the additional unique benefits to buying both in my circumstance (assuming my input signal is already flat and unprocessed)?
Also want to add that you're videos and the information you've provided so far have been informative and illuminating. Love JL and their products, and they are definitely lucky to have you working for them presenting this information. Alot of this would be unclear, unspoken, or need to be inferred if it were not for the work you're doing here. Cheers!
+Mark Twain *IF* your (High-Level) Speaker Outputs or Line-Level RCA outputs from your OEM Head Unit (or another source) are already FLAT, UNPROCESSED, & FULL-RANGE, then you Do Not need the FiX86 unit. The *FiX* units are only needed when you must correct any EQ or Time Alignment (Signal Delay) that is being output from your OEM Factory source or Head Unit, and/or to obtain a completely Full Range Signal using multiple sets of high-level speaker outputs that are not individually full range on their own. That last bit is referred to as channel "summing", such as using the band-limited L & R Front, Rear, and Subwoofer's High-Level speaker outputs and combining them together to derive ONE Full Range Stereo Pair of channels (L&R) . So if you already have a single Left & Right set of Flat, Unprocessed, Full Range signals coming from your source, you can take those L & R Outputs and feed them into the Inputs of the TwK88 DSP. In the Signal Routing Matrix of the TwK88 software, you can take your two inputs (one L & one R) and then assign and choose up to 8 individual outputs channels (or 4 L & R Stereo Pairs) to go from the TwK88's RCA Outputs to each of your amplifier's RCA inputs. So YES, you can use your One Set of L & R speaker-level outputs and create up to 8 individual RCA outputs to feed all of your amplifiers using the TwK88! 👍 The Crossover Filters, EQ, Time Alignment, & Output Level for each of the 8 RCA Output Channels on the TwK88 can be individually adjusted. You would definitely want the *TwK88* as the main DSP for your system. The features in the FiX86 are ONLY geared towards correcting the wonky output from an OEM factory Head Unit that has pre-applied processing, it is not meant to be used as an overall system DSP.

I'm a little confused... I'm using the fix 86 and for whatever reason JL Audio didn't give it a fiber optic out... So I would run the 6 channel out from the fix to the analog ins of the Tweak? If that is correct how can it distinguish the difference between the mids and the tweets? Its a full range signal that's sent to the crossover and the crossover then seperates the frequencies to its mids and tweeters... Or is the Tweak installed after the amp?
JP SHO157 The FiX 82 has optical output for ease of install and 2 channel, digital output. The FiX 86 once calibrated offers full range front, full range rear and subwoofer output. If you wish to keep front, rear and subwoofer separation you would need to route these outputs into 6 channel of input on the TwK 88 and be mindful when routing signal or setting up your project of the separation. OR you can just use the front full range output from the FiX 86 and input it into the TwK 88 and set it up for 2 channel, analog input.
Hey Eric, is there a certain way to exit the Tun software after programming? In my application, once I transfer the project to the TwK, save the file and close Tun, the outputs go back to muted and there's no sound. Am I missing something?

Michael Buononato they shouldn't mute out once you transfer the project and save it.
