    The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square perform "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," a popular song for Choir performances and tours. Arranged by Mack Wilberg.
    Lyrics:
    Come, thou Fount of ev'ry blessing,
    Tune my heart to sing thy grace;
    Streams of mercy, never ceasing
    Call for songs of loudest praise.
    Teach me some melodious sonnet,
    Sung by flaming tongues above;
    Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
    Mount of thy redeeming love.
    Here I raise my Ebenezer,
    Hither by thy help I'm come;
    And I hope, by thy good pleasure,
    safely to arrive at home.
    Prone to wander Lord, I feel it,
    Prone to leave the God I love;
    Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
    Seal it for thy courts above.
    Jesus sought me when a stranger,
    wand'ring from the fold of God;
    He, to rescue me from danger,
    Interposed his precious blood.
    Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
    Prone to leave the God I love;
    Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
    Seal it for thy courts above.
    O to grace how great a debtor
    Daily I'm constrained to be!
    Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
    Bind my wand'ring heart to Thee.
    Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
    Prone to leave the God I love;
    Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
    Seal it for thy courts above,
    Seal it for thy courts above.

    I'm Independent Fundamental Baptist and I often dream of singing in an enormous choir like this one. This can be considered a tiny taste of what's to come one day in Heaven for those who have trusted in Christ!

      I was lucky enough to be able to sing in the newer conference center (across the street from the tabernacle) when I was about 20. It was astounding. I didn't sing with the Tabernacle choir, just a regional church choir. But it was humbling to sing where they sing. It was breathtaking.

      I’m an inactive member of the LDS church. It seems when my life and relationship is heading nowhere I always turn to these hymns . I don’t believe your religion matters. To me it just makes me long to be a better father. If music can inspire us that way then I believe we have already met half way. Thank you for appreciating things I’ve long forgotten.

      I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I have listened to imams teach and preachers from other faiths, and I agree with you that when truth is spoken the Spirit of the Lord attends those words and touches the hearts of those who are listening with their hearts and minds, and causes one to feel the love of God. It is wonderful.

      Charlie, I am so sorry about your son. It's been almost five years since our son passed away, so I understand your pain, but I also find myself turning to sacred, healing music for comfort. It is one of the ways that provides a direct conduit to Heaven, I believe. I pray that you will find the peace and comfort you need at this tender time in your life. May the Lord bless you, my friend.

    I am a Mormon who struggles with mental illness.
    Whenever I feel as if I may lose it or just want to scream, songs like this one- especially this one, as it is my favorite- calm me down and help me breathe again.
    A good cry, a reminder that I am loved and back to dealing with life and motherhood!

      Hello, May I keep you in my prayers? Mental illness is a difficult thing to deal with - for the person who suffers from it but also for those around that person. But the Lord Jesus accepts us as we are, when we come to Him in faith. I greatly urge you to leave the cult of Mormonism, and to plant yourself in an evangelical church, where a healthy view of the Lord Jesus and the Gospel is preached. This will be a large part of your healing, friend.

      In John's Gospel it says that those who worship God, must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. The Bible also says that Satan can appear as an Angel of Light! :) Therefore, Mormons need to examine their history and doctrine! :) Joseph Smith said that all denominations were an abomination and that Christianity was lost since the time of the Apostles. That means Spurgeon, Luther, Zwingli, Aquinas, Augustine, and thousands of other Christian preachers were false prophets! ...Please, get a grip!! :):) Please read the Sermons of Spurgeon and other great Christian preachers who lived before and during the time of Joseph Smith! I'm sorry but they were preaching the same Gospel as Jesus and his disciples preached. And the same Gospel that is in the Bible today! :) And the same Gospel that the author of this hymn use to preach, who actually lived before the time of Joseph Smith!

      +Taylor Pope - please call (801) 240-1000 and ask for the Missionary Department and they will put you in touch with the appropriate pair of Missionaries. I was raised a Catholic on my mum's side of the family and Southern Baptist on father's side of the family. When I was a Jr in College I found the Church, joined it, and 18 months later I was on my mission in England and I have never looked back. Today, my oldest daughter is about to celebrate her 5th anniversary with MoTab and my 4th daughter just received her mission call to the Washington Tacoma mission. It is the greatest decision I have ever made in my life. And I promise that the Lord will answer your questions as well. Take care.

We are married 65 years and she has now passed from this mortal to the eternal world and is now waiting for me to join her soon in our Father's Kingdom. That is an anticipation of joy to come when we are together again forever. Oh my God, my Father and Savior Jesus Christ thank you that I found the truth the restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a former Baptist minister and the son of a Baptist minister, 52 years ago we both were led to read the Book of Mormon which then led us to take the discussions from the missionaries. Fourteen members of our families joined the Church the 1st year and many more since. Thank you and God bless you all.

    Come, thou Fount of ev'ry blessing,
    Tune my heart to sing thy grace;
    Streams of mercy, never ceasing
    Call for songs of loudest praise.
    Teach me some melodious sonnet,
    Sung by flaming tongues above;
    Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
    Mount of thy redeeming love.
    Here I raise my Ebenezer,
    Hither by thy help I'm come;
    And I hope, by thy good pleasure,
    safely to arrive at home.
    Prone to wander Lord, I feel it,
    Prone to leave the God I love;
    Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
    Seal it for thy courts above.
    Jesus sought me when a stranger,
    wand'ring from the fold of God;
    He, to rescue me from danger,
    Interposed his precious blood.
    Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
    Prone to leave the God I love;
    Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
    Seal it for thy courts above.
    O to grace how great a debtor
    Daily I'm constrained to be!
    Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
    Bind my wand'ring heart to Thee.
    Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
    Prone to leave the God I love;
    Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
    Seal it for thy courts above,
    Seal it for thy courts above.
