I would love to see a "Masterclass on seed slot somposition" video! I struggle to slow down the game in the beginning, and then struggle to deal enough damage at the end, likely due to plant comp, when to use stallers, or place attackers. All of those issues come down to seed comp / utilizing your seed comp right, so I think a video on it would be great. I think the topic is specific and important enough that it will catch attention on yt, and general enough to offer something for everyone watching it. Thanks!
To compile your issue and attempt to fix it: At most two slots dedicated to sun production. We are talking one primary and one secondary. Sometimes you dont even need a secondary producer if you stall the zombies enough. One instant stall and / or one instant damage plant. Iceberg Lettuce and Potato Mine are great in Ancient Egypt, and later you can upgrade these to Stallia and Primal Potato Mine. These plants are used in the early game to keep the zombies off your sun producers while you hoard sun. Try to keep the first zombie or two from being hurt until the next zombie walks in, as the game will immediately call in more zombies if the current wave takes too much damage. Main attackers. You should always have at least 2 options for dealing your main damage, and both of them should be somewhat permanent placements on your lawn. You do have the option of going for one light attacker and then one heavy unit. Like say, a Red Stinger and a Winter Melon. Two light attackers can work for easier levels, but you really want to have a heavy unit ready to keep the late game in your favor. Panic button plant. Self explanatory, something that will kill what the main attackers dont. Cherry Bomb is the best example of this. When to do what? Spend the first two or three zombies stalling and spamming sun producers. Hoard all you can. Once you see the zombies start to come more than one at a time, start placing your main offense. Use the sun field as a meatshield while attackers cool down, or use instant stalls to help you get your offense up. By the time you have every lane covered with at least one attacker, its time to slowly replace your sun field with more damage. Remember your panic plant if you start to get overwhelmed.
I was intimidated by PvZ2 with how different it was from the original game. But thanks to you and your videos, I've finally gotten the courage to try it out and so far its been pretty fun!
An addition to solar sadge is that when it was released ea forgot to remove it from last stand levels so you could spam 0 cost sun producers in last stand. It has since been patched
with my experience, you need to treat Moonflower a good bit differently from other sun producers mainly due to the fact that she has a much slower cooldown _and_ the fact that she powers other Shadow plants. due to her being the only way to constantly power Shadow plants, you'll wanna make sure she's actually protected. alongside that tho, you also don't need to spam her down most of the time. as long as you get down like 5 (6 if you're not using other Shadow plants) & make sure they're all fully powered, you'll have huge amounts of excess sun in no time
"A Masterclass in Stalling Plants" sounds like an interesting Idea for a video considering that there are plenty of Stallers, and some stallers are better then others stallers.

Other people: *listening to the video* Me: *listening to the music to find out the Creeps20 made a mistake in the description. The music that was playing was Modern Day Demonstration Minigame, yet in the description it says Ancient Egypt Demonstration Minigame*
I use a combo of primal sunflower and gold bloom in endless zones, because setting up primal sunflowers can be tough when only starting with 75 sun each level
I disagree. And i also believe that they do. All of them have one trait that goes with each other. They all synergize well. Primal sunflower is cheap and makes alot of sun. Primal potato mine can be used similarly to normal potato mine. Primal peashooter lets you get more sunflowers down via stun and knockback. And primal wallnut. Being cheap. Spammy. And ok against gargs. Works well against jurassic garg. The only thing thats still a problem at that point is stego and pterodactyl
I think your next video should be about stalling/delaying plants, and show off some side plants (like kernel pult) that has effects that can stall zombies.
this is genuinely a really cool video and could really be helpful for a lot of people in learning how to play pvz2 and it's mods better and faster instead of having to figure that out themselves the hard way (eclise is brutal if you're fresh from vanilla man) I know this is a fairly complex topic and if it were to be done, it would be later on after having introduced things like walls and stalls but I would really like to see a video of this style on knockback plants. there's plenty of them like primal peashooter, chard guard, kiwibeast, levitato and even some in mods like eclise stallia. knockback, to me at least, is a really cool effect that has its uses offensively and defensively. heck, several zombies even use knockback to some degree by being able to push your plants backwards. I just think there's a lot to expand on there but hey that's just me
Twin sunflower can be your only sun producer. The dtrat is just to keep planting them around the middle and use iceberg lettuce + potato mine or chili bean while you build them up. Currently only tested yo to frostbite cave, and it kinda falls apart for most challenge levels in wild west. For the challenge levels, specifically the "don't spend x sun," just don't use any sun producers, they are very much possible without them. For "don't lose x plants," either use none at all or use a column of cheap ones (like normal sunflowers or sunshrooms) I geuss I'd call this strat "all or barely any" due to its "all or nothing" style, with a side of occasional "some" Bad strat, but it works and is VERY effective in normal levels. In frostbite cave I just spam snapdragons and do something similar to this.
Loving your videos and this one is great! I was wondering if you could quickly explain what the plants do when you talk about them as I’m sometimes left confused on what makes for example a sunflower different from a primal sunflower, great videos anyways!
Tbf, these videos are targeted toward people who play PvZ2, where it’s assumed you know what these plants do. But for context: Sunflower: Costs 50, produces 50. Unlocked at tutorial. Twin Sunflower: Costs 125, produces 100. Slower recharge than other sun producers. Unlocked after Ancient Egypt - Day 24. Sun-shroom: Costs 25. Starts by producing 25 sun, then starts to produce 50 sun after producing once. Starts to produce 75 sun after producing about 3 more times. Unlocked after Dark Ages - Night 1. Primal Sunflower: Costs 75 sun, produces 75 sun. Unlocked after Jurassic Marsh - Day 17. Moonflower: Costs 50 sun. Depending on how many shadow plants are by it, produces 25 sun (0 shadow plants near it) to 100 sun (3+ shadow plants). Unlocked after Modern Day - Day 1.
My strat for 80% of ice caverns was pea shooters in lane 1 then torchwood, then sun prod. Optionally switch out torchwood for pepper pult or other heater and move torchwood row ahead to allow for 2 easy rows of sun producers and a good defense against weasels.
Just want to mention that symmetry and backline sun producers are something you can get away with in Vanilla. And besides, when in doubt boost the puff shroom to clear a level in Vanilla I played vanilla again a few months ago and finished it under a week

Complicated is when I opened the game after months and seeing all those new Prem and Seed pack plants and wondering what the hell they are and do. 😂
"Do not go for symmmetry" **le gasp**
I think a guide to walls would be useful, as they are pretty niche, you don't need to use them, but they are sometimes useful. Support plants in general could make a great video
Don't care, going for symmetry, have a good day
Edit: do not do this, now care, going for asymmetry, having a good day
"symmetry is rarely a sign of a good defense"
Heresy!
I struggle when my lawn is not symetrical
Other people: *listening to the video*
Me: *listening to the music to find out the Creeps20 made a mistake in the description. The music that was playing was Modern Day Demonstration Minigame, yet in the description it says Ancient Egypt Demonstration Minigame*
as someone who's onto vanilla big wave beach in reflourished this is probably gonna be invaluable information
I loved this video! Plant food might be an interesting topic!
I use a combo of primal sunflower and gold bloom in endless zones, because setting up primal sunflowers can be tough when only starting with 75 sun each level
What about a video about the primal plants? Although it may be difficult as most of them don’t have anything to do with each other
Here let me sum it up for you. Primal Plants > Their regular counterparts
Indeed i like primal sunflower , fast cooldown and more sun
Toadstools are my favorite plant. Though I don’t play plant vs zombies, those cute mushroom frogs are some versatile plantz
3:43 break... symetry?! NO... NO... I CAN'T... IT IS THE LAW
it is the lawn :P
Loved the video. I suppose a video along the same lines but on instants could be great
this channel has grown so quickly
Twin sunflowers have been working for me for a while.
I think your next video should be about stalling/delaying plants, and show off some side plants (like kernel pult) that has effects that can stall zombies.
Love the new video style!
i think a video on instas and single-use plants could be interesting
NICE🤩WORK LETS APPRECIATE THESE EFFORTS THEY PUT IN BRINGING🤩AMAZING VIDS FOR US👍
no one’s talking about that banana being 1000 sun
Looking forward to the video!
Creeps shitting on symmetry? Hmmm,i think i smell heresey......
this is genuinely a really cool video and could really be helpful for a lot of people in learning how to play pvz2 and it's mods better and faster instead of having to figure that out themselves the hard way (eclise is brutal if you're fresh from vanilla man)
I know this is a fairly complex topic and if it were to be done, it would be later on after having introduced things like walls and stalls but I would really like to see a video of this style on knockback plants. there's plenty of them like primal peashooter, chard guard, kiwibeast, levitato and even some in mods like eclise stallia. knockback, to me at least, is a really cool effect that has its uses offensively and defensively. heck, several zombies even use knockback to some degree by being able to push your plants backwards. I just think there's a lot to expand on there but hey that's just me
Putting sunflowers in front of attackers hearts my heart
I don't play pvz2 but its so interesting to learn about it because it has so much content
you should definitely give the game a try!
For "don't lose x plants," either use none at all or use a column of cheap ones (like normal sunflowers or sunshrooms)
I geuss I'd call this strat "all or barely any" due to its "all or nothing" style, with a side of occasional "some"
Bad strat, but it works and is VERY effective in normal levels.
But for context:
Sunflower: Costs 50, produces 50.
@@aaronstephen3058 Thanks a lot for this! Bless your day
@@aaronstephen3058 thanks
I find it interesting you put the sunproducers in the third or fourth Column. Versus in pvz1 where it’s the first two that’s more common.
should've put sunflowers in the front
I allways get symmetry bcuz of ocd
Sun-shroom is my favorite out of all the sun producers he is just so good and so cute 🤗😭
Was wondering why the bgm felt so familiar. Still finishing my first playthrough of Omori, no way it's music already makes me feel nostalgic
Twin sunflower and regular sun flower are important for early game when you don't have primal or shroom
this is the first time ive considered more than 5 sun producers and relying on instant plants
Pros advice: “yo break symmetry, looking good doesn’t win you the game”
Me: “ha this sign won’t stop me I CANT READ!”
My strat for 80% of ice caverns was pea shooters in lane 1 then torchwood, then sun prod. Optionally switch out torchwood for pepper pult or other heater and move torchwood row ahead to allow for 2 easy rows of sun producers and a good defense against weasels.
Ramp? Mans plays magic
Yeayyyy new upload
i love this type of masterclass video, could you do one on stalling plants next?
I'd love to see a video on how to stall properly
You forgot about spear-mint.
Just want to mention that symmetry and backline sun producers are something you can get away with in Vanilla. And besides, when in doubt boost the puff shroom to clear a level in Vanilla
I played vanilla again a few months ago and finished it under a week
3:16 and oh boy do i follow this quote my lawn is always full of sun producers and it helps me a LOT.
Honestly, I feel like 2 rows of Primal Sunflower are enough in most cases. If I am running heavy attackers, I just add Gold Bloom
Great video
