Blair Williams (Moon Bloodgood) is attacked by some scavengers.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The fourth installment of the Terminator series follows an adult John Connor (played by Christian Bale) as he attempts to organize a human resistance force which could prove to be mankind's last true hope in the war against the machines. Opening in the year 2018, Terminator Salvation finds John Connor's certainty about the future shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious stranger named Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), whose last memory is of sitting on death row and awaiting execution. Unable to determine whether Marcus was sent from the future or rescued from the past, Connor begins to wonder whether there is still any hope left for the human race as the robots grow more powerful and aggressive than ever before. It appears that Skynet is preparing a devastating final attack designed to eliminate the human resistance once and for all, leaving Connor and Marcus with no choice but to strike back at the cybernetic heart of Skynet's operations. Once there, the two battle-scarred soldiers discover a devastating secret regarding the potential annihilation of all humankind. This movie didn't deserve the amount of hate it got. It sought to portray what the world of machines would be like in a realistic way and it achieved that perfectly.
That was never a point of criticism...
If this was a stand-alone movie it would've been decent, but as part of the Terminator franchise it had established rules to follow... which it didn't.

I love the concept of terminator hybrids that this movie introduces. I wish it and Marcus's character had been explored more.

Yeah, from a "survival of the species" standpoint it there is a fairly strong argument to be made as to why it's the right decision to kill off a scumbag that willingly attacks what few remaining humans exist.
Say what you will about this film, but I still love Sam Worthington's Marcus Wright.
He was the Star of this Movie.
Yes, he even out acted Christian Bale.
For me he was the best part of the movie, and I personally really enjoy Salvation 😁
Marcus & Blair were the most interesting characters in the movie. They should have just said screw the humans and run off together.

I really loved the relations between these two characters in this movie. The "love story" element is one of my favorite things about the entire film. It just rubbed me the right way.

After seeing the cringey genysis and dark fate , this looks like a masterpiece.

It's a little hard to reconcile this scene with the one later on where Marcus is going blow for blow with the T-800 and at times, pushing it around. The force generated to do that means that these dudes should've been flying about like kites after each punch.

I feel like the knife in the dudes shoulder was a little nodd to T2 with the "pull it out pull it out" biner who got stabbed in the back shoulder.
I wished they made a couple of sequels of this post-apocalyptic world. They could've done so much after this movie.

In the new terminator game, a girl tells how she was violated. A scientist working for Skynet required a "girl" for his "needs". So Skynet got one. He did the rest of the job for months, till the base was bombed. It's not just the machine who is your enemy.
Terminator Salvation may not be that great of the sequel . But Ill say this Marcus is actually the only strongest Terminator Hybrid. A lot stronger that that chick on dark fate.
Sam Worthington would have made a good Jack Reacher.
