Thank you PETER! I bought one. Distance fluctuates a llitle when standing but always within 2 years. I discovered another feature.....Distance to HAZARDS and BUNKERS including the size of the bunker...!!!!! ie: bunker front is 188y and back is 199y to clear. AMAZING great product and price. THANK YOU!!!!
I have had this watch for a couple of years and find it to be the best for me. It’s easy to use and gives the basic essential information I need. Good review Mr Panda
My father in law just bought this watch, he plays a lot of scrambles and 9 hole on a mostly senior league and the watch auto starts at the first hole and if he sets it to the hole he's actually playing and it happens to be 17 it won't allow him to pick or to scan for the hole he is actually playing next. Is this a sequential only watch?
Great watch. Has all the basics required for a round of golf. Is compatible with all Garmin software including connect and the club sensors and the older version is the only watch at this price point that can be used as an everyday watch and fitness tracker including date, step goal and steps covered, distance covered and calories and all for just over £100 quid!!! It’s so good that Garmin have removed some of the fitness elements from the latest version but it’s still the best golf/ everyday watch in the market for the price.
I thought only the s20 connects to the Garmin app.. Not the s10.. Too old?

A lot of people reviewing keep saying these and other gps golf watches and apps give distances to the pins and they don’t. Some even say they take strokes off your game and they don’t
I love mine, but cannot figure out how to turn it off. Yes I have tried pushing down the orange button.

I used the s10 this morning for the first time and couldn't figure out how to bring up yardage to hazards and doglegs. Obviously I am technically deficient. How do I find that information??

How do you get your scores to the golf app. The manual is pretty poor in explaining as the s10 doesnt have bluetooth to pair and thats what the manual keeps instructing.
You have to download garmin express on your computer and plug the S10 in. After you configure it on there and register it to your account you’re ready to go. So after you play a round you plug it in and it then displays that information in the Garmin Golf app.
Two questions: 1) Does the watch stay on all the time when playing golf? Or does it go black until you turn your wrist upward to look at the screen? And 2) I like the replacement band you put on it. Where did you buy the replacement band?

Also, maybe test the buttons when worn as intended, not in your hand, then you realise it's not actually bad to have them aligned since you hold your wrist at an angle so won't press them on both sides.

Hey so in my golf tournaments you don’t always start at hole one. Are you able to change which hole you start at or does it do that automatically
Yes, you can change holes manually. It's easy. In fact, since it advances automatically, sometimes it does it early. Say, if you hit a shot near the next tee box, it'll think you're starting at the next hole. So you can just adjust it to any hole at any time.
