I always say Max Payne was the real John Wick. This remake is going to be special, I honestly can’t wait. I’m just hoping we get it this year. I don’t want GTA 6 to overshadow the release of this game.

Bro not gonna lie I just googled Max Payne Remake and I got a video with a fake trailer bro I got 1 sec heart attack but when I realized it was fake I was like F***.
I truly hope they keep having access to all the weapons in the game, that's literally the only thing I hated about Max Payne 3, I love the mechanic in theory and especially in practice within RDR2 but for Max Payne it's just much better having an entire arsenal at your disposal, especially the late 90's/early 2000's awesomeness the first two games had with guns like the Colt Commando, Striker shotgun, Ingrams, old school M9 Beretta, if they keep the MP3 mechanic however I hope they at least add even more guns within the game-like the FAL or G3 rifle, Aug, Sig 552 etc.
Hopefully some revolvers as well, at least Colt Python, Smith and Wesson model 29, and 1-2 snub nose revolvers, maybe Colt Detective Spevial and Smith and Weson 627 8 shot.
I think the reason they are combining both games is because Max Payne 1 is very short game which you can beat in one day so it doesn't make sense to make a Max Payne 1 only remake but to combining them into one. Max Payne 2 I personally haven't played much of it to say the same about but I know that with the excellent story lines from both that the Max Payne remake would be great too

I think this is a very smart idea since MP2 is a direct follow-up to MP1 with a lot of returning characters. So merging them into a single game makes sense for a very seamless story. Also, if it's 1 single game, MP2 won't lose hype waiting 2-4 years of development waiting in between games. My only recommendation is to keep the script/voice acting the same and just enhance it, maybe with AI (RIP James McCaffrey). The voice acting was just perfect as is, just go the MGS3 Delta route, keep the voices the same, and remake everything else.
They should add a little non linearity and free roaming/ backtracking etc. I always preferred 3rd person games over first person. 3rd person is more fun to me for some reason…

Last year i played Mafia from 2002 and Far Cry from 2003...iam now on a little replay-nostalgi- mode-trip haha. Next stop will be F.E.A.R ;),Half life 2 and on my new computer that comes in late april i will play black mesa.

It's like all the original games we used to play were real life experiences, and the remakes are like actionmovie copies with actors playing the roles of the original characters. Devs these days have no soul and no standards, they're just good programmers who take enormous pride in creating things that have this shallow beauty that's become so popular.

Unpopular opinion here but I personally dislike Alan Wake 2, thought Control was a bit lacking, Quantum Break was more bad movie than game... Remedys best work was Max Payne 1&2 and Alan Wake 1, because they had simple gameplay loops and excellent atmosphere with the story connecting them. I hope that these remakes are unchanged at their core because I can easily see them being "woke" (I dislike term but you get my point).
