Max was one of the best games in the history of the game industry, and Max made me a gamer, really great, except for the third part !!!
we miss you, James
Noticed UA-cam is recommending
This after the voice guy's passing?
Max Payne one of the best games.
R.I.P. James McCaffrey 😢
Thank you for this.
You know you are getting old when you just remember when these videos came out!
time fly so freaking fast, such a good memories
Men we need new game when max was Young And he Met his wife :)
There is an official comic about this
@@---pp7tq Which one!?
@@ahmad_irf42 max payne 3 after the fall
How would this be a game if there's not much interesting points happening in the story?
@@SemperFine Actually, if it wouldn't been based on comic - lot of things could be made up.
I’m so glad they made the game real and gritty and not silly and cartoonish with the huge characters like in the beta photos. One of the best games of all time.
Imagine being in someone's womb for 9+ months have her spend time and get pain give birth to you, and then have her play as the antagonist in a game you starred in...
These actor arrangements is one of the reasons i love Max Payne 1, like Nicole Horne is played by Sam Lake's Mother
Edit: I was today'm years old when I found out Alfred Woden is played by Sam Lake's Father
Memories
fucking good memories.
😢❤️
Very cool to see such behind the scenes content! Inspiring!
Max looks more like Johnny Knoxville here
no. Johnny Knoxville actually looks like Max Payne
or robbie williams?
That gorilla at 4:32 is so weird to see in a Max Payne game
Yeah, it is. I think more fantastical enemy types were common in games at that time. This enemy looks like something straight out of Quake. They obviously opted for a more realistic direction later down the road, which most definitely was the right choice. Seeing such hulking enemies would've seemed goofy and out of place in the final product.
it didn't make it to the final game.
Would be made a great Easter egg
@@papuanine4729 i wonder what Jesus would say about that tho
And there is deep 6 written in a wall as well I guess they could have written that deep 6 project valhala has also created monsters with the help of valkyre
Max my Hero.."they were all dead. the final gunshot was an exclamation mark to everything that had led to this point. i released my finger from the trigger. and then it was over."
It's like Raymand Chandler's ghost took over the writing during development.
It's kinda sad to discover Max's real ending as a easter egg in Alan Wake
@@soldierorsomething What, seriously?
4:54 Oh boy did they miss the opportunity. "You want pain?! I'll give you pain, MAX PAIN"
Sam Lake was Max Payne,
His mother was Nicole Horne,
and his father was Alfred Woden.
You can't get more 'Hollywood Family' than this.
Sam Lake / James Mccaffrey = Max Payne .
Literally one of the best games ever made. -at the beginning - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I can’t wait for the remake of the trilogy. Shout outs to all my MP3 fans. I know it was much weaker than the first 2 entries but I love it all the same. More Max is NEVER a bad thing. Ever.
The animation reference videos were really interesting to see. Thanks!
Those items need to be better protected. My brother loved Max Payne. RIP bro
I will always remember the graphic novel and the story and the dark soundtrack it holds a special place in my heart
Rest in Peace James McCaffery
The mocap clips are so fucking Legendary Men, thanks for upload that, Max Payne series is my favorite.
THE FLESH OF FALLEN ANGELS!
shE haS dyeD heR haiR reD
Lupino was crazy all right...
THE MR. BEAST!!!
Producer, writer, directer ... And motion capture character! Damn ... This guy cover all position! Respected!
I just saw today that James McCaffrey had passed away. Man, that was so sad to see. For me the most iconic voice in gaming. RIP James❤️
One of the best games of all time. Thanks for everything and ofcourse Bullet time!
Half Life, Deus Ex, Max Payne ..... man this times
Max Payne 1 and 2 gave me one of the most memorable gaming experiences in my life. The gritty world and voiceacting is so insanely good
Loved this vid, thanks man.Any more like this?.
Really awesome the fact that, Sam Lake's likeness was only used in the first game, but he remained the eternal face of Max Payne! If a fourth installment ever comes to light, they must reuse him!
"With no way to deal with the past I kept my eyes on the road"
As a 16 year old playing this game on a CRT monitor in a Pentium 2 PC during early 2000 was real happiness in life for me!
This game is the first game I played when I was a kid and made me enter the gaming world....nice world actually🙂
3 years later and I see that no one mentioned the fact that Nicole horn is Sam Lake's mother my mind is blown that is so awesome
This is an absolute Masterpiece!!
So much love put into that videogame. It shows. There is no mistake that Max Payne is considered best TPP action game ever created...I love it. I wish I could one day become a game developer like those guys...
