Stephen Jenkins doesn’t get the credit he deserves nor does Third Eye Blind. Such amazingly deep lyrics in their songs. Great band.

@@jootpepet I hear ya, they definitely had success, but when people talk about the great rock bands that came out of that era.... Third Eye Blind tends to get left out. Even more so, they’re thought of as a one, maybe two hit wonder with Jumper and Semi Charmed Life. There deeper cuts are where they shine in my opinion.
I agree about them having a lot of great songs that are lesser known. Motorcycle drive by has always been their best song to me even though it wasn't as popular as other ones

I always knew of third eye blind but just recently I've really dug into there music. I love their music so much and this song is one of the greats
written by artists who were reduced to contract musicians and robbed of the rights to their own art by an ego maniac. If you're just starting to learn about the music, you should learn the truth about the "band" and its front man
The truth is it is a music business. That is why it is called the music business. When you apply for a job the first questions you ask are what will your position/role be and what is the pay/benefits etc. To whine years later and plead ignorance that you did not know your status or pay is absurd. Cadogan did not know his role or pay for 4 years. That is just stupid, naive, or both on Cadogan's part.Read your contract. Have a lawyer read it. Your dealing with millions of dollars. Pay a lawyer to explain it to you.This situation is typical of every band in existence. Haters of Jenkins like to act as if he has did something unusual. Everything he did was legal,smart and good business. Their is way more to the story than the public knows! Jenkins is obviously the force behind his business/band. If you knew what happens behind the scenes you would, by your standard, despise and side with members of every band
