What do you do to get a good night's sleep?
A glass of milk combined with a l-theanine & melatonin supplement works every time 😄 when my cycle gets out of wack
I usually do breathing exercises and that will help, I also found this helpful, thank you

For me I think the issue is not trying so hard to sleep well and not think about it at all. Basically changing the way I think about sleep. When I used to sleep well, sleep wasn't something I actively thought about whereas now, because I can't sleep, it's something I think about often. So have to change that.

I am a senior and have had problems sleeping for most of my life, I also find I fall asleep after eating, I think Covid is making me really anxious too, I watched another one of your video's and I reach for coffee in am and tea in pm, I like to watch tv before sleep and check my phone for messages

I’ve had sleep issues since I was around 9 years old I’m now in my awaiting sleep clinic help! Every night is worse without a sleep aid without sleep meds I’m ruined!

To cure insomnia, eat a small clove of _garlic_ early in the morning before breakfast.

I listen to the meditation music and fall asleep within 2-3 mins of lying down
This is the only thing that works. If my brain can't focus. I'll turn on a bedtime show.

You should probably make a distinguishment between aerobic and anaerobic exercise.
I use a nice breezy fan on me.
No quick fix to chronic insomnia. I lived with it over 30yrs, sleeping pills help till my body gets use 2 em...wish I could fix it.💯👈🏾
did you have the problem, that you can't fall asleep, especially on days where you have worked and have met some friends?? and with sleeping pill you get a bad quality of sleep. How you have managed your life with 30 years insomnia? Some advices? Cause i have chronic insomnia. And it sucks. 🤣
My doctor told me the same things today too! The thing is I also take Effexor which makes me not stay asleep all night. So I have to take Trazodone too but I want to try natural things in case they help too.

I find that a good strong joint in the evening makes you sleep like a baby while having wonderful dreams. Also some chips and dip as well as some oreos !
I am a student. I can't sleep at night and can't concentrate as well. I even stopped consuming caffeine and I keep on having terrible headache due to which i cant even study properly. I feel tired, upset, lazy and emotional without any reasons . But sometimes I am really sleepy especially during day classes. I always get akward intrusive thoughts like destructing things around me. Past activities keep on replaying in my head. I feel angry but weak all the time. Its been days that I haven't slept properly. My eyes are wide awake at night and I keep changing sides. Is it something serious going on with me doc? Because afterall I feel okay like fine. I don't have any depression and I don't really get anxiety attacks.
I've found that I have to go jogging at night (even though I'm dog tired anyway) so I can burn off the anxiety that's built up because I'm in a constant state of stress. once I burn that energy off, take a shower, then read about 2-3 pages of a book then the actual tired feeling comes on and i can then sleep. But it sucks getting out of bed at 10pm knowing the only fix it to suit up and go jogging. And I'm 49 years old...ugggg stupid stress anxiety issue. Anyone else have to take these extreme measures?
wow great that it helps you. I do sports in my room 40 minutes at 19 o' clock. But it doesn't help me, to fall asleep. The sleep is still very bad. How many minutes you are jogging?
I don't recommend when tired because if you are not tired you might end up staying away for the entire night
What can help me with my jet lag sleep I have trouble sleeping when jet lag from an overseas trip it takes me a will to recover what advice can you give me would be great help for me thanks
tried CBTI for weeks and had no improvement, I believe it has to be something else

how does talking about getting cancer help with my insomnia. It just adds more stress
Doctor ever since I had an incident my own life change. I find it very difficult to sleep it been over 5yrs now since 2018 I cannot sleep I cry everyday I feel depress can't sleep I always think about my mistake and past I have pains all over my body been to hospital did thyroid test but comes out normal I find it difficult to sleep from 12am to 3am sometimes 3am to 5am I don't really know what to do no one to heip me now it has affected me so bad
Does L-Thenine helps to sleep?

I have chronic insomnia, I really tried to stay away from meds but eventually had to try them. I tried 4 different kinds and tons of otc meds. None worked. I think once I’ll be able to sleep my anxiety will get better. I can’t sleep at all I’d kill for even 4 hours
How is your chronic insomnia now?

We are in same condition. Earlier I was prescribed tab mirtaz and Nexito for my chronic insomnia but I stopped taking 23 days ago. Without medicine I couldn't sleep properly. I sleep at 10:30-12am, 12:20-3:30 am then awake , not able to sleep back again. Next morning headache & eye paining.I feel like to take medicine again. M confused. How are you?
None of these, when implemented, has helped me even long term. I’ve been trying for 5 years. I have chronic Lyme Disease. It won’t allow sleep.
How to reduce cortisol level naturally?
It's not so much my body is tired, but my mind isn't. Like i feel my eyes heavy and my body but my mind just keeps going and i don't understand why. I've been like this for a month or so now and I'm pretty much scared to sleep at this point.
Me too - What I've learned to do now is get up and go for a jog / physically exhausting exercise of some sort where your breathing hard for 15+ minutes. Then take a shower, and your body will "crash" afterwards which is when you can finally go to sleep. it seems to work for me, even though most doctors say don't exercise 3 hours prior to bed time.

Walk, calm relaxing sleep meditation music , cool very. Dark room, ear plugs ,eye mask, shut off all lights ,tvs and phones one hour before bed , try zzquil,nyquil, if you need coucilling then it's sleep meds. But exercise is the best to burn off energy in mind and body.
If I got up every time I didn't fall asleep within 20 minutes, I'd never sleep for the rest of my life.

Insomniacs desperate for sleep will appreciate the first two minutes of telling us why sleep is important and the reasons why lack of sleep is bad, and then the number one helper is avoiding caffeine.
The first five suggestions are so obvious that I’d rather count sheep than listen to the rest.
Basically you need the Holy Spirit. Actually your body is given life through the breathe and spirit of God. Anxiety depression insomnias are all oppressions from the devil, Now when you realize that your body is the temple of the most high God and no sickness or disease Or abnormalities can dwell on where God stays immediately these issues will leave your body. It is written that if that same spirit that raise up Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in you, that same spirit shall quicken your mortal body. You can not have the holy spiritual and still be oppressed by Satan it isn’t possible. Study God’s word, say 2 Timothy 1:7 to your self all the time and invite the Holy Spirit into you. Soon you will see boldness and freedom from the trap of anxiety and fear just like how the apostles where when they received the Holy Spirit. God bless us all.
My rest is in GOD! Eating clean foods and living on every word of Jesus the Christ helps my sleep! Just saying 😌
