Also, it’s good to keep aspirin around because if you do have a heart attack you’re supposed to chew one 324 mg tablet right away this week greatly improve your chances of survival. Remember not to swallow it but to chew it! So make sure you have some regular tablets on hand for chewing and not the capsules! But I agree with the doctor do not just start taking aspirin without talking to your doctor but also keep some handy with you at all times if you’re over say 45 and unhealthy. You just never know!!
I was diagnosed with A-Fib in June of 2012 at the age of 70 by my regular G.P. who put me on Metoprolol and Warfarin. She then scheduled an appointment for me to see the Cardiologist, whom I saw about six weeks later. The Cardiologist examined me and reviewed my test results and told me that neither he or any of the other Cardiologists wanted me on Warfarin. He told me to stop taking it and wait three days and then take one Baby Aspirin every night before bed. However, he did tell me to continue taking the Metoprolol. I am now 80 years old and still breathing. I walk 30 to 45 minutes every day and swim half a kilometer every other day. I have never experienced a pounding heart episode, except on those very rare occasions when I wake up from having a nightmare. Bottom-line, the thought of taking all those other drugs like Pradaxa and Warfarin is too scary for the likes of me.
This channel BLEW UP. Wow! Congrats Doc on all those subscribers.
Thanks for your support!
Take ginger for thinning of the blood
There is a telephone service in Sweden that should help people with the general health advice Every time I called them they said "talk to your doctor".
I live in Sweden, lived in 6 other countries and swedish healthcare sucks. Its just noone wants to be the odd one to point it out. Every swede I talk to is ok with it and find it normal ( duh, they either havent needed to use it yet or havent used healthcare abroad) and every foreigner says they hate it and go abroad for treatments ; I myself had to go to Greece to get x rays and healthcare. I used to live in Turkey, US , Israel, Lebanon and Greece all had way better healthcare. I agree people deserve minimum coverage for emergency cases and there should be some government support like in Turkey; but private healthcare drives quality up and gives good doctors motivation to stay in that country. Meanwhile I wait for a dental appointment for 8 months now. And an infection that they couldnt cure in 2 years ; finally went to greece, got in a pharmacy, booked a doc appointment in 2 mins; got antibiotics and voila. I just dont get it =D Otherwise Sweden is a great place so cant complain.
Thank you Dr. very helpful.
Bottom line is if you haven't had a cardiac event ..no .. if you have .. it depends on your doctor's advice which is no better than your own if you educate yourself .. its all about risk .. just like life .. nothing is conclusive
Summary: Don’t take aspirin on a daily basis unless your physician has told you to. Also, do your own research in case you have a quack physician (not up to date with peer reviewed journals).
Should I ask the same doctor that told me to get the jab that make my bp high
yes i understand, anticoagulants makes any bleeding worse. but problem is, who decides to higher bleeding risk outweight reduced CA or stroke risk? if you feel advers effects of aspirine, you can basically leave it. But if you feel effects of a stroke, things gonna be bad.
2:16 " our prior assumptions are not quite as correct " - yeah right !
Aspirin chews up GI tract and arteries walls on a long-term basis. Take Pine Bark Extract or french Pycnogenol instead, to get the anti-sticking of the platelets without the corrosive and fatal aspect of aspirin. Vitamin E or Fish oil also help.
Is that the same as White Pine Bark????
@@presidentiallsuite it's from certain pine specie called Pinus Pinaster. You can also try Krill oil for same effect.
When does all this damage start to show up. I'm 80 and have been using this wonder drug for over 50 years. Eat right, exercise and stay the hell away from doctors that want to tell you what to consume. Doctors don't know anything about what to eat. Not their fault, they still aren't taught anything in school about nutrition.
Been looking to get some pine bark, hard part is finding supplement company that i can trust is using quality ingredients and manufacturing processes and third party testing. Any suggestions?
If aspirin may pose a bleeding threat to me, how about a mega blood thinner such as Eliquis? I'm searching for a doctor that won't prescribe me rat poison. Just found out that many consider Amiodarone as an end of life drug. My team considers aspirin a threat but rat poison a necessity.
What would be a good example of a bleeding problem on a patient so I can take that as serious as risks for heart attack and stroke?
Do u think it's safe if I take Asprin .I have AFib and I'm 43yrs male who suffers from Anemia and Chrones Disease and I've already had a preferated colon and a twisted colon .
Please see the points below of my mother report done in 2019.

2.small chronic lacunar infarct seen in left periventricular white matter right side of pons.
3. Mild chronic ischemic leukoaraiosis changes of bilateral perivenntricular deep white matter noted.
4.rest all where normal in reports
Does she needs to continue ecosprin 75mg daily whole life aur she can use any home remedy pls reply
Doctor I have bad circulation. You think aspirin and caffeine a day would work....???
WHENEVER I TAKE ASPIRIN I GET BAD ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION. WHY?
Does inflammation in the body eventually heal and go away for good as we keep taking Aspirin 💭 or does Aspirin only temporarily relieves inflammation ? 🤔💭
May i have the source, id like to read the research?
Goodi info Doc.Thank u so so much co's i am diabetic
Glad it was helpful
What weird background sound is there and what the hell he put that phonendoscope on his neck if he is not in hospital now?
Maybe the daily asprin means the patient gets that extra glass of water everyday and that accounts for the difference. More water, thinner blood.
Bleedig risk ratio is a very very small risk for taking daily aspirin. Thats why you dont tell the ratios
Dr. Please let me know is it ok to take aspirin (75 mg) every other day to a single stent patient?
If you have poor blood flow to the brain do you take aspirin for it?
Thanks Dok
Doc is advisable to drink cinnamon tea? No late side effect for prolong drink? And it is helpful to reduce blood pressure and maintain diabetis?
Thank you 🙏🏻 blessed you 🙏🏻
Happy it was helpful!
I take it to prevent colon polyps
t.y.for info doc.
You don’t mention MILLIGRAM dose once.
Doc, it is advisable to take aspirin if u have high blood pressure?
Not necessarily just because of high blood pressure. Good discussion to have with your doc to review all your risk factors. Thanks for watching!
Doc I have a history of bilateral pulmonary embolism unknown etiology. A large percentage of people whom die from Covid is from clots. I’m not on a blood thinner since it was the first time I had embolisms and I finished the treatment several years ago so now I’m taking 325mg as a preventative measure. Do you recommend this? Thank you
prevention of PE is a different beast for sure. If it is a one time event but an unknown source, it is a bit of a grey zone. Some advocate more aggressive anticoagulation (coumadin, eliquis etc) while others not. In your case most would at least recommend an aspirin. A great question to always review with your doctor.
That dosage is very high...
You can take 75mg
Is asprin good for arrhythmia
Which is good for high blood cinnamon tea or aspirin ?
Grapefruit
This video is about promoting dotors visit
My age is 19. I suffered anxiety disorder.. That's why my bp goes high and doctor prescribed me 25 mg losartan and 75 mg aspirin... Now 3 month i taking it regular ... Now i am well with normal bp and no others health problems.. So please tell me can i stop taking those medicine now??
Yes
Maybe look into garlic extract ? That might be better than asprin; ask your doctor or check interactions. I also have anxiety and similar issues, stress causes vessels to narrow
It destroys your platelets and causes you to bleed.
Doctor please I’m 33 years but doctor said I Bp but taken meds but I have palpitation and chest pain so he added aspirin to pls is this safe for me doctor
Asprin 75mg once a day after meal is safe
Bleeding how? Bleeding where? Is this menstrually? When injured? Internally? I have watched a few of this Doctors videos, and am left unimpressed. It seems like he takes a popular subject, and skims the surface in information. I just feel these "informative" videos are anything but. Like going up to the front door and not knocking, much less going in. Just my experience though, for others this may work.
everywhere. I'm so stupid. I was taking aspirin and another health supplement for a month and a half and had a brain bleed. I didn't understand it meant internal bleeding. it's been 6 months and my life is a living hell.
At 50, one aspirin per week?
You didn't answer anything are you really a doctor
Dr I'm 61 years old. No previous heart attack. One TIA a year ago. I've been taking 75mg aspirin daily for several years. To reduce the chances of bleeding I've been taking nexium too. I'm learning that long term use of nexium is associated with damage to kidneys. Should I discontinue aspirin and nexium in your opinion?
these doctors on youtube never answer any question, the best you can do it's going to the hospital and ask a doctor there , or make an appointment with one, good luck .

An awful lot has changed in the short time since I posted that question. I discovered the ketogenic diet. Specifically: 'KenDBerryMD KETO 101' on UA-cam. One of the smartest moves I've ever made. Aspirin? NO Nexium?NO Statins? NO
BP meds?NO...a whole new world 👍
I take aspirin everyday 8years to prevent heart attack.anjo plasty 2014 up to now take aspirin
This stetoscope looks unnecessary
People dont watch what actual Doc say, but just random dude speaking with some weird pic.
Thanks Doc, actually helpful!
Good program, however you might have the knowledge but definitely not a speaker. Talk normal.not so speedy.
