I'm a convert from Judaism to Orthodox Christianity. This is so beautiful. If I ever go to Israel again I'll have to visit. I'm so glad someone is evangelising to the Jewish people. Orthodox Christianity is the fulfillment of my people's faith.

Be blessed by our God, brother, He has showed to you the only true path - the Orthodox Christianity! Best wishes for you and your family, greetings from an Orthodox Christian girl!

I'm really pleased to find a Jewish convert to Orthodox Christianity here. I'm also Jewish and I'm starting my conversion to Orthodox Christianity in 2019. I live in South-Africa. But would like to get in touch with other Jewish converts.

@@tertiuscarstens7084 There's an interesting book you might enjoy from another Jewish Orthodox Christian- "Holy Russia, Sacred Israel" by Dominic Rubin, a British Jew who became Orthodox in Russia. It deals with the theology of the Jewish people and Israel in contemporary Orthodox theology. There is a community of over a thousand Jews who are baptized Orthodox Christians but continue to identify and live as Jews in Russia. I think they are centered in Moscow- they converted through the work of Fr. Alexander Men, a Jewish Orthodox Christian priest who baptized thousands of Jews and Gentiles secretly in the Soviet Union. They have engaged in contact and dialogue with the broader Messianic Jewish world.

@@tertiuscarstens7084 I've met a surprisingly high number of converts from Judaism. I just discovered 2 people at my parish yesterday are Jewish. One of my friends is also a convert from Judaism and is in seminary right now to become a hieromonk.

Tell me one way Jesus was the Messiah. He did literally nothing except being born out of wedlock, preaching some inane nonsense and then getting killed. Oh but I forgot he’s going to do it all when he comes back right? The fact that people believe in this ridiculous religion amazes me.

Prayer with the understanding of the mystery of God: Dear LORD, bless and keep all whom you bring in the woman of him, for You put the son, the same -human out in the world not to judge but to save. You sent your only Son, our Lord, the Christ to save us by His sacrifice thru which we all passed from under the curse and entered into the blessing of Abraham, whom You blessed in all; we all of the body , of soul, of spirit return to You, dear heavenly Father, the Master of heaven and earth, for you joined in body of him, his creation, the living church of God with heaven and earth, so that LORD have mercies on us, and God to pardon us, for the ones saved in the body of him, creation from the beginning, are the sinners of this world brought in flesh by our Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of all. May our Lord judge in heaven and land in His righteousness, that the sons and daughters to be saved and live in the love of God in the body of Him whom You created so wonderful from the beginning.

Most Jewish people accept the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, which are in agreement with the Torah. They do not accept the cult around Jesus. Jesus taught that there is only One God.

Anything ~can~ become an idol, including holy icons, the cross, or even the Bible. Do you not even have a cross in your home or at your church, Fernando? If so, your logic would dictate you are an idolater. Or maybe instead, the Church was guided by the Holy Spirit during the 7th Ecumenical Council.

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
      [...]
"My distant direct ancestor was a great Cantor in the Hispanic Catholic Church. He was the most proficient chanter of the Mozarabic Liturgy of Spain at the time. When Cardinal Richard of St. Victor Monastery in Marseille came to request of my ancestor a specialized custom manuscript exhibiting the glories of the Ancient Hispanic Mozarabic Liturgy, my father took the job. He slaved a year before he was done."

      "I've never heard its equal."
"Cardinal Richard returned and demanded of my ancestor the priceless custom manuscript, but at one-tenth its promised price. My ancestor refused. Without a word, Cardinal Richard had my ancestor burned at the stake for heresy at the hand of the Papal Inquisition. In my family, we all love the liturgical worship traditions of our fathers, over many centuries. So naturally, the son of my ancestor challenged his father's Inquisitorial Executioner to a liturgical chanting duel. The son failed. Cardinal Richard left him alive; but he imposed upon him and upon every one of his male direct descendants the Ecclesiastical penalty of perpetual enforced servitude to the Reformed Roman Liturgy."
"How old was the son of your ancestor?"
"Eleven years old, as was I when this family story was told me by my own father. When I was old enough, I dedicated my life to the study of Church History. So, the next time the present Papal Legate and I meet, I will not fail. I will go up to the Papal Legate, and I will say, 'Hello: my name is Inigo Montoya. Your Ancestral Heretical Schismatic Papal Inquisitional System of Indentured Liturgical Servitude killed my fathers' free, noble, and gloriously venerable ancestral Christian liturgical worship tradition at the Schismatic Council of Burgos in 1085. Prepare to die.'"
"You've done nothing but study Church History..."
"More pursue it than study, lately. You see, I cannot find the present Papal Legate. It's been twenty years now, and I'm starting to lose confidence. I just work for Di Corleone to pay the bills. There's not a lot of money in Vengeance-Driven Generational Ecclesiastical Justice-Seeking."

Do you have posters of your favorite comic characters hanging up on your wall?
Do you play video games and dwell in fantasy for entertainment and pleasure?
