Hi! Thanks so much for your video! I have a question, I now have like what you have, multiple sprouts in one pot, they are all about 2 inches long, do I replant them on a bigger pot? Do I do it individually like one sprout in one pot and when? your reply will be very much appreciated! Or if anyone can help me with my questions my email is hello94123@yahoo.com or please reply here. Thank you!

There's something important you need to know if you decide to grow any kind of citrus tree from seed. They ALL grow into bitter oranges at first so when they're big enough, you need to graft them in order to get oranges, lemons, tangerines etc.
@Eriss R. I don't know how to explain it. It's a procedure where you take a piece of the tree you want and place it in a slot on the bitter orange on order to change it. A gardener will explain it better to you ❤
@@paddydu5113 I know for sure it's the same for lemons. We had a bitter orange tree in our garden and had to graft it to turn it into a lemon tree. I don't know what happens with limes. I'm guessing it's the same.
@Eriss R. To graft is basically to take a small piece of a mature tree that already gives fruits and make a small cut on the younger tree (the one you just grew, when it's old enough) and slide it in, seal it, then that tree will soon produce fruit. There's lots of videos on how to do it on UA-cam!

Here in the Philippines don't need to remove the shell or put in the paper tower just drop the seed in your backyard and after few days you'll see the seed's roots and you'll see the difference in the leaves to know what kind fruit it is orange calamansi or citrus
I have been growing mine for about 7 months and they are not very big but they are alive and still developing new leaves. I had moved mine outside too early and some died. The surviving ones were yellow looking, but I brought them back inside and under a grow bulb and they are doing o.k.
This should be a part 1...I after 40 days I want to know what's the next step do the little spouts go into the ground or a larger pot for sunshine and how often do you water the pot....
Just discovered Sumo oranges recently. They are delicious and supposed to be seedless. I bit into a section and crunched on a seed, for the hell of it I wrapped it in a wet paper towel and it has germinated! Going to plat it now. Thanks for the video!
My folks gave me this hybrid grapefruit/orange that taste so sweet and not bitter like your traditional grapefruit. An old timer green thumb came up with this combination. RIP Mr. Rogelio 🙏 Watching your video, I hope I will be have the same results 👍
I put a few orange seeds in a pot with potting soil mix and left the pot outside in the yard. A week later one tiny sapling sprouted out and its been two weeks now no other seeds germinated. The sapling that sprouted is growing well but one thing I noticed its leaves fold up in the evening and open up in the morning. Is this the normal behavior of orange plants? If not I am suspecting this sapling is not orange but some other plant that grew out of a stray seed hiding in the potting soil mix or carried by wind into the pot. The fact that none of the other orange seeds I planted in the same pot sprouted makes me believe this sapling is not orange. I would appreciate if plant experts can give some feedback. Thanks.
@@MsNovazz make some homemade compost using the kitchen leftover(peels of vegetables and fruits etc) gather it then take some normal soil and mix the kitchen leftover in it and let it decompose for 4-5 days. If u Don't want to do the kitchen leftover compost then u can simply spread some dry leaves near the plant those dried leaves will decompose and give the soil nutrition and make the soil rich in nutrients. Speaking of the watering process water the plant daily with two teaspoons of water what i do is i have a bottle cap of any regular soda bottle and i water it two bottle cap every day make sure that u don't overwater it, in the summer season water it 3 bottle caps everyday as it needs more water in summer 😊
Those "oranges" must have a higher germination rate than other citrus varieties. I don't have that type of luck with my lemon or lime seeds. I've only ever had good germination rates like that with my attempt at growing satsumas
You can just put the orange seeds in a plate and sprinkle it with water and closed the plate and wait until the root comes out or just wait for almost 2 weeks probably. But this is kinda helpful thanks.
Hi! Major help please! :(( once u put it inside the lid, do you just let it and wait for 12 days? or do you constantly have to open it and spray it everyday? thank you!

All you will get from that is rootstock seedlings. You will have to graft them with the variety of citrus buds you want the tree to produce. If you don’t, all you will get is bitter or sour rootstock fruit.
