Well done, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Just returned from a few days away in our 14ft Jayco Starcraft, towed by our NX Pajero. Hope all goes well for you two, safe travels.
Welcome to caravan life Dee and Nicole and a Jayco too. Getting my Jayco ready for a trip to Iluka. About to upgrade the van to 400ah lithium after putting 600wats on the roof recently. God bless you both and see you on the road. Tony from Stanthorpe.
So nice to finally meet your beautiful young lady, congratulations on your wedding here to the future can't wait to see where you go in this beautiful country
@@budget4x4lifehey Dee, don’t forget let us know and show us how you overcome the problem with opening up the rear door with the spare tyre vs. the whole towing ball system ! I have the 08’ NS and it’s annoying when towing your trailer. 🤩👍 I know there’s a cast riser lift plate you can use, but does it do the job 🤞😉
Big congrats all around for your decision to see this great land vis caravan. There is certainly heaps to see given the number of caravanning families you see on UA-cam. Maybe you can do camp outs with your loyal Budget 4 x 4 followers at free camps along the way? Would be great to meet you. Take care and enjoy.
Hey Dee & Nicole, congratulations! I hope you have a lot of fun. Have you considered installing a MM 4x4 Automate? It was recommended to me for my NX 2017, which is towing our 18.8 van, and it helped greatly with the better fuel economy. I also had it re-tuned at UDT! Runs very well now.
@@lano1702 thank you so much 😊 We are considering the lockup kit or a bigger oil cooler. Not entirely sold on the lockup as some auto specialists say it creates a lot of wear on the converter but not sure 😄 the idea of just locking it up on the highway and down steep hills will be good
good luck just finished my half lap a few months back keen to do a full lap again in a few years time with a different setup :) all the best! you need to travel close to 100kms per day to make it
@@budget4x4life yeah easy if you wanna stay and stop at places. Hi love the show. I am looking at getting a new caravan. But having trouble getting the right information on the Ball wait and max towable mass. Any help would be appreciate
Geeat viddo. As long as theres transparency in you videos and you disclose " partnerships/ reviews " so that your videos are real and not giving positive reviews for goods that are supplied to review Ect
Hi Mick! We are always transparent- always have been, and always will be. We don't have any affiliation with Jayco and as with most of the videos, the products we talk about are ones that we as a business sell- which is why we make the videos. Products that are gifted are disclosed, and even then- if it's good we tell you, if it's crap, we tell you. Cheers!
Can I say that after talking to other people when you do your new episodes when travelling please try to make your videos around 10 to 15 minutes as what I have heard there is a lot of people out there that do not like the long episodes. When your do ya trip just go and have fun. Start in qls then out back nsw the country Victoria and the over to SA to the Flinders and then over to WA then out to Kalgoorlie ect and then up to Broom and the across the top to Darwin then down to airs Rock then back into qld to Mt isa then ove to the tip and then back home. Well that's the way id go but it's all up to yous.
