Got all the good stuff mate, and surprisingly it's not that heavy! One thing is if you are planning on camping off grid, definitely look at a diesel heater, best thing we bought for our van and they're super cheap and easy to install
Just wondering which projecta power system you have on your van. We just purchased the same van but didnt get a screen for the system and just run thriugh the app but am thinking about having the screen put in, we have the projecta pm235j but not sure if we can get a screen for it.
Just wondering about the advantages of having 2 Anderson plugs. Can you also charge your battery while travelling, using the solar panel? I'm assuming using the red anderson plug is more efficient, is that correct? Great vid.
@@craigharrop2756 how they set it up is that the red one charges the battery via the dcdc charger when plugged in to the car. Once it is plugged out it automatically changes to the solar. Dont think they charge simultaneously
Great Video! With the fridge, if you are low on gas can you manually override it to use your battery power? Also would you consider going to a lithium battery?
First thing to do is to p off the std javmck and get your self a Trail A Mate jack. Use it to hitch and unhitch and as a jack to change a wheel if necessary. Your dealer is wrong about needing a greay water tank in caravan parks.ive neve ever have been to a van park where i needed a grey water tank( which i sont have one any way) He might have meant national parks where you are required to have a grey water tank.
Absolutely awesome video, the young lady is a natural in front of the camera
@@mervynbrooks6621 thanks mate 😃

@@fisherman6794 thanks mate! Awesome sounds good. I am not too knowledgeable about them. Do they basically just heat up the van when it’s cold? Cheers

Hey David. We got the same system but the Projecta LCD screen was separate. 🙂
Thank's for sharing

@@TheUnderdeveloped yes you can. And yes will put lithium in 😃

@@Mick_4591 it was. We already have a lithium battery that would just go straight in instead and sell the agm battery 🤙🏼

Definitely get a spare toilet cassette
@@gregdogg10 they fill up quick 😄😄
Dont travel with gas bottles turned on.
Gas needs to be turned on for it to switch over automatically
We don't travel with it on.
Pretty sure pulling the flap back on the toilet cassette is not how you empty it :)

Yes, you might not need them at caravan parks, but at most free camps and national parks/private properties, you will.
