The one and only Ariel Posen stopped by the Andertons TV studio to show off his BRAND NEW signature pedal from Hudson Electronics UK: the Broadcast-AP. An evolution of the Broadcast, designed to integrate with Ariel’s unique sound, it uses the same circuitry as the Broadcast but with a Silicon transistor and OEP transformer. The result is a medium-gain tone that has plenty of low-end grunt, clear upper mids and crisp, fuzzy highs.

Ariel, you have opened my eyes to a whole new world of tones, tuning and playing. I recently bought a Flying V just to try C standard and I love it. Now I'm thinking about trying my low output Strat in C standard as well.
The tricky part is figuring out what strings to use. I'm currently running 12 - 60 gauge but I might want to go heavier. There's something about the feel and sound of those thicker strings that I feel more connected to.
Anyway, Thank you Ariel for being such an amazing player and person. And thank you Andertons for having him on.

What can you expect. The superb Broadcast with Ariel’s input. It sounds incredible. If I had one I think I’d be tempted to run it with the gain trim pot right up. Sounds ace as a broken fuzx

I love my dual broadcast but now I want this too. Huge sound, and so unique.
I feel like with most Signature releases, it’s just specific to his rig and therefore wouldn’t be as good a fit for other people. Sounds like they didn’t a lot to tune the low end which I would bet is just because he uses 16’s tuned down to C
Been using a Broadcast about six months (credit Mick for me finally pulling the trigger) and it’s the best pedal. Just so touch responsive...too cool Ariel has his own version now 👏👏👏. Just awesome.

I love this cause its sortve a combination of what I was doing already with a tubescreamer clone and a pigtronix Class A preamp/boost ran at 18 volts for an always on low/medium Overdrive. the Class A preamp/boost gives back a bit of what you lose in the low mids with the TS, and it at 18v just pushes the air, hits the front of the amp a little harder and a little more punchy thru a 40 watt or so amp. i dont get the silicone thing but its an old low watt tube amp so its slightly breaknig up and getting the fuzz thing as well. DYNAMICS. NOW I GET THIS IN ONE PEDAL W/ SILICONE and a few more options. SO COOL

M.W. I think one is to adjust the bass cut and the other is the overall bass cut... sort of stacking them.

I dont think so... one sets the overall bass level and the other controls how much additional bass gets cut when you flip the switch. Probably something he wanted since he plays in drop B and drop C a lot.
No. One controls how much high frequency (top end) gets through. The other controls how much bass is cut from the signal. They work at different ends of the audio frequency spectrum.
