I don't care what anyone says I like Shia. He's human and doesn't pretend otherwise. I even liked him in Indy 4, the movie sucked but at least Shia and Harrison had chemistry
Shia never gives himself enough credit!!!!!! One of my favorite actors of all time and also one of my biggest crushes lol I grew up watching him and will forever support and love him
Regardless of his antics. He is the best of the younger bunch right now. I only say that since his performance in Fury It changed my view on him within moments of him on screen. I really hope he keeps on that path and direction of film. You can't take it away from him , he does have a gift
+davick1 just hope he does more hey. Watched it again recently and it makes it more obvious how good of an actor he is. Before he even says anything he dominates the screen.
If you look at the performance he has put into his work he is a good actor, but a lot of the movies he was in were mediocre because of other unrelated reasons. One of my favorites so far has got to be Lawless. Let's just hope he snags more serious roles like that and Fury. He has also worked in a few performance pieces such as that SIA interpretive dance sequence
Lawless was a fantastic movie, such a great cast, I love Tom Hardy, oohhh my goodness!! Shia was totally great in it too and Jason Clarke and Jessica and Mia and everyone else!! I have watched several times.😊❤️
I'm sorry to say this, but for me it's the other way around. Tom is so charismatic and versatile! In every role he's like a complete different person; it's outstanding. With only some grunts, eyes, body language he's captivating the whole screen!
Uhh, that is why they’re saying Tom is the better method actor. He absolutely embodies the role of the character he is playing. That is what method acting is, BECOMING the character in a sense This can often include behaviors off-screen being affected: i.e. Heath Ledger..
🙏💡 Great movie and I I’m a Big fan of both actors .. Tom Hardy is awesome 🙏💡😉 Shia is wise beyond his years always been a fan LOVED him in Constantine 👏👏👏 It’s Like he has an OLD soul🤷🙏💡
The 'scuffle' that happened is just for publicity purposes (they were most likely both method acting), to get everybody looking in there direction just before the film is released. Any publicity is good publicity in a way. This kind of thing is planned before any major film release or product.
I'm off work on sick leave and trailing through the internet. Watched lawless not an original storyline but well cast and well acted shocked that it was a flop at the box office as its a good movie. Love this Shia Beowulf what a great name. Smart kid Will be looking out for him....
I know basically nothing about Shia LaBeouf, so I'm a bit confused. He seemed pretty nice in this interview, is there a reason everyone's calling him a douche bag?
I don't know much but from what I hear he does a lot of shit talking behind people's backs and there was some feud between him and Hardy, LeBeouf is considered a bit of a douche bag in real life whereas Hardy is supposedly a really decent guy. LaBeouf boasted that he could kick Hardy's ass and Hardy brushed it off like a champ. He also has a tendency to throw sucker punches when he has bodyguards around. And he generally makes shitty movies.
Never really thought Shia could act too well until Lawless, i used to think he was an overactor, but he really impressed me in this movie, and of course Tom was incredible as always
WTF happened. He wrote Tom Hardy a fan letter, they colaborated as friends, then i saw shia quoted as saying I hate the dude, he shows up with his new sports car on set, and he's not the same type of human i am, they got in a fight on set. where did it all go wrong LOL
Ugi XXI Its a long story but in a nutshell, tom hardy was rough housing and kinda bulleying shia on set as shia is a wee lil lad. Shia eventually had enough of this and on set punched tom hardy full on in the face. hardy was not hurt or did not go down from the punch and tried to kill shia to which the cast jumped on him and restrained him. at a press conference later tom hardy told everyone that shia knocked him out cold, that shia was the man (i guess as sort of an apology for bulleying him) everyone laughed it off and was like wtf. i think like 5 years later the director admitted the truth that shia DID NOT knock out tom, tom just said that for shia the end peace y'all
' "That was straight love. There was a lot of love on that set in general. There was a lot of aggression in me and a lot of aggression on [Hardy's] side. We were playing brothers. There was a constant finger-in-the-ear [teasing] thing going on for a while." So their scuffle was a brotherly love-type scuffle? "Oh, it was all love. I love the dude like a brother, straight up," LaBeouf said. "I think the man's a genius. I think he's incredible. ' Sounds like something minor that sites used to blow up and bait traffic for their gain.
There was also talk that Shia was pretty loaded up on Moonshine at the time of the incident. So I'd put it down to most likely a bit of teasing that was taken the wrong way by someone under the influence. Cooler heads prevail once the booze wears off.
James Cage I don't think they actually had a ruck (coz Hardy would wipe the f..kin floor with him),I reckon it woz more of a"F.ck off back 2 ya trailer Shia,ya bein a bellend, put tha dummy back in an ease off tha moonshine"lol
hear lots of negative stuff about this guy, but he seems very humble and enthusiastic and all about learning and bonding for the part, and for his development - i'm impressed, doesn't seem like the approach of the ego and hubristic kid he's been painted as... and, above all else, he's good and has a lot of presence as an actor
I personally dont like Shia's acting, but im giving him a chance in Lawless. He stuck with the director after losing funding and cast, got Tom Hardy involved (who attracted Jessica, and got Gary involved). I love every performance of Tom's ive seen, even in short films and small parts. Wish I could see him in theater. Props to Shia for kind words to Tom, if there was beef, they both act like its settled so why should we care? However my $ would b on Tom in boxing or MMA match!
Everyone sitting on Shia, he's my age and I was watching him on even Steven's at maybe 11? Just imagine what your life could be with that attention and money before you're even legal to fuck or drink. It's easy to say what we think we would do but what would happen is a different reality
let's not forget about his brilliant performance as BANE. Real scary, and he did all that with half of his face covered...when Bane cried, it was so amazing to watch. Shia's personality is like that he acts like an asshole, but he is talented.
me too and i knew he was gona be a big hollywood star back then rather than a crappy disney star that we see now days. non of todays disney stars will make it big except for maybe zac effron(but he is a shia labeouf generation), the rest will always be thought of as disney actors. Venesa hudgens, miley cirrus, Salina gomez, etc
you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know
When he said they filmed in GA .. I knew I had seen that brick wall with the arch way somewhere before .. Walking Dead , Morgan scene “cleared” it was the wall he wrote it on. Funny !
When is that going to happen? I hope they have it on youtube or something. That would be interesting to watch. Gotta give the man credit for doing it though.
Shia has built his small career off playing every other Hollywood actor's sidekick, I have yet to see him carry a film. I guess I'll try and get rnd to watching Charlie Countryman some day.
I am thinking that's it because I read an article where Tom Hardy said that Shia had knocked him out on the set of Lawless but then added "apparently" at the end of his comment leading those who were interviewing him to believe he wasn't serious. Like you said I guess we will ever know....
Pshtt. Check out Fjögur píanó by Sigur Rós. It's a music video by an Icelandic band and in this, they show Shia LaBeouf naked...pretty strange going from Transformers to that, huh?
Lawless is such an underrated movie.
Grumpy, Amen!!
Such a dope movie
By whom?
@@lowellcalavera6045 Well, critics for starters.
apart from Hardys unintelligible mumbling...ridiculous
I agree. Never seen an actor take the stage/ scene like Hardy . He owns every scene his in . A truly gifted and talented actor
Next James Bond?
Too big @@TheJoeyboots
I don't care what anyone says I like Shia. He's human and doesn't pretend otherwise. I even liked him in Indy 4, the movie sucked but at least Shia and Harrison had chemistry
I agree. Shia is a brilliant actor, he's done some odd things in real life but we're all a bit odd. I see a lot of humanity in Shia.
Crystal Skull was awesome and did not suck!
Skull did suck... shia is one of the best and still one of the most promising actors around
@Nidstang ᛣ.ᛗ lol, stfu.
Wow you really stuck your head out there. You dont even care what everyone thinks about your opinion on Shia. You the man.
Shia never gives himself enough credit!!!!!! One of my favorite actors of all time and also one of my biggest crushes lol I grew up watching him and will forever support and love him
Shia is just misunderstood, he a pretty cool cat and one hell of an actor!
Regardless of his antics. He is the best of the younger bunch right now. I only say that since his performance in Fury
It changed my view on him within moments of him on screen. I really hope he keeps on that path and direction of film. You can't take it away from him , he does have a gift
That performance made me change my opinion on him as well.
+davick1 just hope he does more hey.
Watched it again recently and it makes it more obvious how good of an actor he is.
Before he even says anything he dominates the screen.
He sure does! I've always thought Shia Lebouf was a very talented actor.
ChelseaFC _Buzz thats why i find him frustrating i see hes very talented
I'm actually IMPRESSED by his ELOQUENCE in this interview.
Came across as a very mature and very intelligent young man.
Lawless is a bad ass film.
Lawless was amazingggg. One of my fave Hardy movies
This is like incredibly insightful it’s great to see this side of him
Is it incredibly insightful or like, incredibly insightful?
LaBeouf's method acting really showed in Fury. Right call taking the tip from Hardy.
Gerardo Yepez he took Toms tip ? and it was hardy ? I can do this all day
Lawless was a fantastic movie, such a great cast, I love Tom Hardy, oohhh my goodness!! Shia was totally great in it too and Jason Clarke and Jessica and Mia and everyone else!! I have watched several times.😊❤️
Shia is the TRUTH when it comes to talent💯
Shia has such a wide-eyed genuine presence. You can't help but be drawn in.
Both top notch actors and honest human beings, maybe to a fault, but that’s their choice, and I admire them.
I don't care what anyone says I still LOVE Shia!!!!
I'm sorry to say this, but for me it's the other way around. Tom is so charismatic and versatile! In every role he's like a complete different person; it's outstanding. With only some grunts, eyes, body language he's captivating the whole screen!

Personalities aside, Shia and Tom were both great in Lawless.
Tom hardy is brutally great at what he does I'm a big fan x
Very well spoken...I have never been much of a Shia fan but that was an impressive interview.
lawless one of the best feel good movies. ups, downs, a great time.
JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+PuzzledForge DON'T LET YOUR DREAMS BE DREAMS!
+whoopdeedoo SHUT DA FUCK UP YEW KANT!!!!!!

Shia working with Tom Hardy can only make him a better actor, lucky bloke!
He did a good job in Lawless. I was impressed.
🙏💡 Great movie and I I’m a Big fan of both actors .. Tom Hardy is awesome 🙏💡😉 Shia is wise beyond his years always been a fan LOVED him in Constantine 👏👏👏 It’s Like he has an OLD soul🤷🙏💡
I like Shia, so he is kooky, that's good as far as I am concerned. Just saw The Revenant, new respect for Tom, loved them in Lawless also
That guy is totally crazy though; he'd sucker-punch you in the middle of lunch without any warning, you can't trust him at all.
i love him, i'm so happy he is doing so well!
The LawLess Is A Great Movie,Story, and the cast Was Amazing they couldn't of gotten a better bunch
Shia is such an underrated actor.
He’s just so real something u don’t see in celebrities
I love Shia ❤️💞❤️
The 'scuffle' that happened is just for publicity purposes (they were most likely both method acting), to get everybody looking in there direction just before the film is released. Any publicity is good publicity in a way. This kind of thing is planned before any major film release or product.
picture him back as Louis Stevens.
hard to believe how much he's matured! :OO
Saw Lawless earlier tonight,One of Summer 2012's best,And Shia is a Great in it.
Shia LaBeouf is a really good actor. He hasn't been cast in the right movies so far but I think this is going to be his true breakout role! xD
I Love This Actor and I Love Him he is a Great Guy and hope he can keep on making good movies like he does
Lawless is a great movie. I've watched it at least 7 times.
Good actor, been in some great films. Keep bringing it Shia.
awww thats so sweet of shia to say about tom! love them both
I'm off work on sick leave and trailing through the internet. Watched lawless not an original storyline but well cast and well acted shocked that it was a flop at the box office as its a good movie. Love this Shia Beowulf what a great name. Smart kid Will be looking out for him....

***** I quite enjoyed Holes. It's really a matter of opinion how good a film is. Also, is someone really a "douche bag" for being in a bad film?
*****
Well the book is better but i wouldnt say the movie sucks :/
Emily Davenport Because people are mean idiots. They think it's cool to hate on Shia I guess
Minecraftvidsbyjames pretty sure the guy was kidding.....
DOIT
Never really thought Shia could act too well until Lawless, i used to think he was an overactor, but he really impressed me in this movie, and of course Tom was incredible as always
I LOVE THE INTENSITY!
indeed. Hes probably my favorite actor. Whatever he does it works.
Love Tom Hardy👍👍❤
The peanut butter factory is a great movie. Shia is brilliant
He always reminds me of Dave Gahan!
lawless one of the best movies out.
WTF happened. He wrote Tom Hardy a fan letter, they colaborated as friends, then i saw shia quoted as saying I hate the dude, he shows up with his new sports car on set, and he's not the same type of human i am, they got in a fight on set. where did it all go wrong LOL

A FREAKEN AWESOME MOVIE
Watch Shia in "The Greatest Game Ever Played" a fantastic true story.
I love the frank way lebeouf speaks
Such a great movie a good script true story nothing fancy quality acting that's what I like to see.
Dave Gahan never really ages does he?
hear lots of negative stuff about this guy, but he seems very humble and enthusiastic and all about learning and bonding for the part, and for his development - i'm impressed, doesn't seem like the approach of the ego and hubristic kid he's been painted as... and, above all else, he's good and has a lot of presence as an actor
Shia LaBeouf is an amazing actor
Обожаю этот фильм ❤❤❤
Could've sworn it was Dave Gahan
Lew Cifer
Well done.
Depeche mode is my favorite band of all time Ive been saying for years show should play dave gahan in a biopic dave dehaan can play martin gore
OMG yep

"ko'd hardy" lmfao you wish!!
“ He will! Not! Divide! US! “
((Head bobbing))
RRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Don't let your aspirations manifest only as dreams.
Man shias expressions on lawless. Probably his best expressions
Dave Gahans' american accent is after really coming on.
You sound sane here, Mr. Lebouf. Keep that up.
Lawless is like a Peaky Blinders/RDR2 mashup
Everyone sitting on Shia, he's my age and I was watching him on even Steven's at maybe 11? Just imagine what your life could be with that attention and money before you're even legal to fuck or drink. It's easy to say what we think we would do but what would happen is a different reality

Shia was awesome in fury ...best war movie

I sense a huge "but........"
Same, I was waiting for it the whole time
I'd like to see both of them in a movie. great actors
Ahmmm... they were together in Lawless...
I even dare to say that this interview was part of the press tour for that movie.
he still my fav actor since holes
Shia is the Legend end Tom Hardy too Respect top Actor
totally gonna see this. i love both shia and tom.
You have a point. Many people still know him mainly for the Even Stevens...
was that that kid series on Nickelodeon
?
Disney, I think. Hah.
ever seen transformers
Transformers and Disturbia say hello, oh and holes. Guy is a dick, but he does carry films
And don't try to act like anyone "missed your point." What you said is just directly contradictory to facts.
Yes you can!
lawless was an unreal movie
no doubt, Holes is awesome and Transformers blows.
But when you compare roles... Hardy definitely takes the cake in every scenario.
It’s a really good film
i love the hair,....and he's definitely one of my fav actors
Did you see his eyebrow when he says "we all got pretty close"....... AWKWARD
great movie. good interview. impressive, an intelligent, articulate cat..
one of the best actor

great actor!
