Watch a full tutorial as a 2007 Dodge Ram (Quad Cab) will have a new pair of 6x9" Alpine component speakers installed on the front doors. We will be replacing both the midrange as well as the tweeter for the best sound quality possible.
NOTE: Our Ram 1500 was not equipped with the Infinity factory audio sound system. If you have the infinity audio system, however, all coaxial speakers will work fine in this location. Quad cab models can only fit a 5.25" speaker while Mega cab models can fit 6.5" Speakers.
This video applies to Dodge Ram models for years 2006, 2007, and 2008. In addition, this install includes how to remove the factory door panel, wire and install the speakers, and testing.

It is a DC circuit, so it doesn't make any difference. Just as long as you complete the circuit, you're good.
