    Be sure pair your blue tooth dongle to your android device and also select that Bluetooth device name in MSdroid under App setting >> Bluetooth device

      Do you need internet connection all the time or does it just run on bluetooth after the app is downloaded

      @@ihaveabikething1992 You need internet connection just for first connection to the ecu. after that ecu definitions are saved on your device.

    3.5 inch floppy disk drive power header from a PC power supply is what I'm sure you were thinking of. Oh, and thanks for the blue tooth upgrade tutorial.

      Correct. Thank you for sharing that and thanks for watching

    Love it. I like your idea of soldering to the Speeduino board over the Mega.

    That app looks very nice, I'm going to buy a speeduino next month and try and get my car running, thanks for all the video's!

    Nice video, always good to hear nice things said about MSDroid :) You skipped a bit about pairing the dongle with your phone which is done outside of the app which may trip someone up. Autotune is probably coming one day but no promises as to when.

      Correct. I forgot to include the pairing step, mainly because mine was already paired.
      MSdroid is just about my favourite phone app. I am not sure if you part of the development team, but hats off to the creators.

    Hi my friend , the MSDroid is working with old Android versions, do you have any kind of update or another softwaee who can read speeduino ??

    What about baud rate? Usually bluetooth modules straight from the factory have a baud rate of 9600. To communicate with tunerstudio or msdroid our bluetooth module must be reprogrammed to baud rate 115200 using AT commands.

      I buy my modules from www.wtmtronics.com they are preprogrammed

    Did the app find the correct .ini through the internet or off the Speeduino itself?

    I would like to try msdroid.I have my speeduino with bluetooth module, then if I wanted to go back to using the laptop could I have connection problems with tunerstudio? I read that someone had problems.msdroid connects automatically? shouldn't something be changed inside the speeduino? thanks!

      I had no connection problems when I used mine. Just plug in USB and go

    Hi . Im amirhosein . I got an standard engine PSA tu5jp4 an now i wana try diy hacks starting with an adjustable ecu . I choosed speeduino v0.4 . In manuals it says it support 4 channel sequential firing but theres a trik to this particular engine cause it aint got any camshaft position sensor . Instead in OEM controller they get some data from stock coilpack to switch to sequential firing . Can i run this engine with this speeduino on sequential without OEM coilpack ? How its possible . Tnx for responding

    • @DCWERX
      @DCWERX  Рік тому

      Yes you can if you use the appropriate trigger for sequential firing

    Your bluetooth board says it accepts a 3.3volt level.
    What about the voltage divider to drop the Arduino's signal down to this level?

    • @DCWERX
      @DCWERX  5 років тому

      The arduino has a 3.3v pin aswell. I believe the BT module works on either 3.3 or 5v

    • @TwistTapeTechnology
      @TwistTapeTechnology 5 років тому

      The Arduino doesn't have 3.3v level RX and TX, and the BT module isn't rated to a 5volt signal, but may survive it long term.

      3,3v to 6v can work

    • @DCWERX

      That is dependant on your Android device
